We had an amazing experience with Beverly, our sales associate. She was so communicative and helpful from start to finish! We were very happy with Adam, our construction manager. He ensured any concerns or flaws we noticed in our walkthrough were completed by closing. We love our house and neighborhood.

Experienced a leak from exterior melted snow water into my basement within 2 days of moving in. BRAND NEW HOME Lack of build quality resulted in water damage to the interior window sill, padding, carpet and baseboards. I am not able to get clarity on where issue is coming from so it can be remediated. Weeks later, I am still working to get it resolved.

Flodd Zone Where to even begin...I found out about flood insurance by the finance team that called me to keep me on pace for closing on the home. I was shocked and frustrated that we were a few weeks into the procedure and just finding out about flood zone and insurance required. I vented my frustration over the phone and they asked me. "Have you spoken to your sales associate? They should be able to tell you all of this." When I asked Jay he had no information on it. He just would tell me to sign the emails as they come through. I had to call several other people who work in Richmond to get the answers I needed. Solar I kept getting emails from solar company asking about my experience and satisfaction with their product and company but didn't even own the house yet. When I emailed them Oct 14th asking when I could talk to someone about making sure it was purchased and not leased I was informed that they were "in between establish credit and lease processes" and someone would contact me "later". I asked Holly Frost who was handling our mortgage loan to make sure she had us down for a purchase. I also asked her about the solar itself and she also asked, "Have you spoken to your sales associate?" Again i tried to talk to Jay about it but not helpful. Now on December 3rd I get an email from the solar team stating they have me down for a lease not a purchase. Home Insurance As soon as we started the paperwork for purchase of the home i went and contacted an insurance agent and submitted details on the home to get insurance as soon as possible. Two weeks later I start receiving emails from someone that claims to work with Richmond to help me with insurance. I responded that I didn't need help as I had already done the legwork and was good on insurance now. They responded, " I advise you reach out to your sales associate, because you are taking incentives for closing from Richmond you are required to use me for insurance." Everyone working in richmond that I communicated with made it seem as though Jay would have the answers but Jay did not disclose any of these things to me and my mental and physical health both began to deteriorate while I was still driving to San diego for my job. I have been through chemotherapy for cancer in 2022 for 6 months and that was easier to do than this process at richmond. ... More

Jessi is absolutely the best! She has gone above and beyond. Our experience with the sales process has been top notch. We haven't moved in yet, so answering the questions about the materials, value, and responsiveness are difficult to answer at this time. I really don't have enough information, so I chose the middle rating. I wish I could have sent the review without having to give a rating for each item. I suspect they will be all be 5 stars once we get settled in.

The house is perfect. No problems.

I have enjoyed my experience with Richmond overall! The staff at the Willow Springs Ranch location have been kind, non-pressuring, and present throughout the process. I would have appreciated greater clarity on some of the billing processes and a few more little fix-ups after noticing some minor problems upon moving in. These things have been minor, however, and I would highly recommend buying a home with Richmond!

I have a great experience and love my new home!

The buying process was super simple! The hardest part was deciding which floor plan I wanted. The sales team was exceptional and answered all of my questions. I’ve only been in the house about a month now, but everything is working perfectly. There were a few minor touchups that needed to be done, mainly dings in the walls and such. But nothing major. Most of the discrepancies have already been fixed. The foreman has been super helpful and just a real pleasure to do business with. We purchased a home and did the final walkthrough etc and all was taken care from the list our inspector provided. Their was one issue that wasnt…water dispenser from fridge. We were told part had arrived and scheduled the technician to repair. Technician arrived no part was given to us and tech knew nothing about it. The technicians made several trips and still hasnt been fixed as of 11/25….moved in 10/11. My wife or I have had to take time away from work and be at the house each time. Appears to be no sense of urgency or desire to get this resolved. Lesson learned….always have issuues resolved before closing. ... More

Straightforward experience. We utilized the broker from Richmond American. It was a very big purchase and I'm disappointed there was no real home warming gift besides a keychain. The house when we toured it was basically finished and the builders prioritized other homes to put up. While sitting there were multiple things in the house they had to come back to finish such as handles on the cabinet.

Just go for the best.
