Superintendent was rude and not polite

It’s was a good experience. Few minor issues that have been taken care of.

Our overall experience was positive. There were some issues with communication and trustworthiness on resolving issues on our new home

The overall home buying experience was great with the exception of completion of the final walkthrough punch list. We live up north and Candice our Sales Agent kept us appraised of progress and sent pictures throughout the process. She was extremely helpful in coordinating things for us being our "boots on the ground". I was disappointed having to come back down to the house after the final walkthrough only to find several items not completed. As of this writing, we still have a few things not completed and haven't even been scheduled yet. I'm hopeful when we move in, we'll be able to get these items completed quickly. ... More

Try to accomplish to take care of pending issues before closing. You don’t loose anything for asking for upgrade. Take extra family with you to inspect and hire a private inspection firm. Check bathrooms and plumbing upstairs and in crawl space. All the air vent installation of attached properly.check laundry area. We are missing insulation in bump out window spaces, found big 7 holes in the beam for blown insulation hose and they forgot and left it open. Warranty rep scheduled many contractors and she is nowhere to be found. Found cracks in garage concrete floor right after the closings(we were rushed out pre closing walkthrough)now they are giving us cold shoulder. Because it’s not covered after the closing. Scott was great to work with and was always responsive to our requests. He cared more about our experience than our real estate agent. Walkthrough items didn't get completed before our move in date and we are still working through some issues. Overall, it is a good house and we are happy. Quality is not as we anticipated since their models looked much better than any other local builders.

The sales agent started out well but in the end was snippy. With this company you won't be treated like a customer so don't expect it. I wouldn't recommend them to friends and family for customer service nor the way construction issues. House hasn't settled so that excuse for the current issues is null. The home is beautiful but the service turnaround is slow.

Mina has been responsive and takes care of all of my concerns.

Everything went smoothly. Some things were not taken care and at a few points, felt rushed, but overall, a good experience.

Richmond did a great job on this house. Our salesman and construction super were great to work with. We still paid too much for the house but needed a place to live:(

Workmanship and the details get lost in these new homes. 30 day check in never happened. Still need things fixed and addressed.

Sales agent Jason Was super friendly and accessible. The superintendent of construction Rynn was great attentive and easy to talk to made everything very easy to understand and followed up through and through.

From start to finish the builder deserves 4 stars. I used their lender for the special rate on the table and they were fantastic, title company amazing, and most people friendly. Sales made some misleading or unknowledgeable wrong answers and there have been a few hiccups with warranty. That said, overall I’m incredibly happy with the home and time will tell on the long term quality. I was very disappointed the builder didn’t allow option selection but ultimately found my ideal lot and the color scheme I wanted. You do end up paying twice for paint or finishes you want after the fact since they don’t let you choose that either. The positive side of that is it was move in ready quickly, but I do wonder if that will bite me at some point. ... More

Jim, Mike and Jennifer made a great team and were professional, knowledgeable and helpful through out the process. Would highly recommend working with them.

After a change in construction Foreman’s I noticed a huge change in customer service. The new foreman Paul was extremely helpful with concerns or questions. He was also very good at communicating what could and could not be done for small discrepancies we notice during the building process. Paul made the rest of the experience much better. Unfortunately we felt the lender was not as responsive as we’d like. It seems there was little to no communication between the builder, lender and sales team. Our close date changed several times (which was expected). But however, when we asked for an updated close date, often times we got three different answers. Additionally, the lender would tell us to ask the sales team and the sales team would tell us to ask the lender. That at times was frustrating because during the last two weeks, we were living in a hotel. Overall the process was good though. ... More

But sloppy where you don’t look. Gutters full of roofing nails. Backyard full of nails. Metal Flashing under roof tires extends into the gutters. Time will tell durability. Nice people though. Pretty smooth purchase

Cheri is wonderful helping us getting things done. Kevin our salesman did a good job also. Happy so far with Richmond American Homes.

The lender used by Richmond is horrible. My sales associate Pam was amazing. The lender was in organized and wanted to change my closed date after driving 4 hours to Haines City. Their communication skill

they charge for too much that should be included.. adverstising was mis leading.

It was a long process. A lot of endless paperwork-The house is good-a few concerns-they fixed quickly. It was not an easy process. House is in a great location.

Overall our experience with Richmond is good
