The people I had a chance to work with, Peter in sales and Abby in Home Design, are what made the experience the best possible. Peter checked in on me and kept encouraging me when I lost my job and the contract. I felt like it was a buddy checking in and not a sales guy hoping to close a sale. I felt that way because that’s what it was. He still texts me and makes sure everything is good. I made a friend. Abby made sure that she knew what our budget was and let us know the best place to go lower and places to just not go lower and the best quality for the price in all areas. She was great at saying wish for want you want in certain areas and delete it later. I’m glad I took her advice about the plugs in the bathrooms. I’m mad I didn’t take her advice about the plug in the closet. She’s right, I did end up putting my home office there… Then, George the PM was great for the walkthroughs and called in warranties on day one when things could not be fixed by the time of the walkthrough. I thought it would be a smoke and mirrors trick and he would have us eventually do the warranty claims. Then the cabinet people called. A week later the carpet people called. True to his word. ... We couldn’t have anyone better than Noah H. As a sales person. He was extremely profesional, polite, knowledgeable with a wonderful attitude and responsiveness to every question that we had….. and we had a lot! Overall buying experience was excellent as first time home buyers. We never though it was going to be this easy.

Amanda was amazing! She’s very communicative and supportive. She walked me through the entire process and gave me construction updates almost weekly. She went above and beyond and came went to meet me at their office before they even opened. Jimmy and Kyle were great! They explained explained everything during my walkthroughs. Great customer service. During my final walkthrough, Kyle said, “We want you to be happy with your purchase.” He stuck to his word and fixed most of the discrepancies I found during my final walkthrough.

The overall homebuying experience, quality of the workmanship, materials is good. Responsiveness to issues reported is pretty quick and we did not had any major issues except cosmetic issues after we moved in. We are very happy with Richmond American service

Everyone I worked with was so friendly and helpful. I loved the entire experience. Would defienetly go with Richmond Homes again, but I don't think I'll ever want to part with the home we just got. I loved getting the weekly updates with pictures showing what was completed each week throughout the building process.

Finish painting not complete. Areas where a second cot of paint were needed didn't get taken care of after the walk through. other items such as doors not latching closed and sliding door adjustments ere needed and not taken care of after the initial walkthrough where they were identified. Now I have to file a warranty claim and that is inconvenient and time consuming. The office staff were great and tried to be helpful.

Bought a new house on a new subdivision, as many other houses are getting built, lots of trash blows all over the place and most to the park and driveways. HOA just sends letters to all home owners, to tell us to clean after ourselves, knowing that 98% of trash is from construction trades .

The process was great. The only issues I had was electrical issues, and was not very happy that my heater during extremely cold mornings was out for two days. But Manuel communication was great and extremely sympathetic and helpful. Lupe also was awesome when I had questions regarding the house. The issues were resolved and have not had any since then.

It would be most helpful if the salesman could provide a menu of all available options, along with the price of each option. It was difficult to find out which options were available, and how much they cost. We had to ask questions to discover what should’ve been transparent.

The overall experience is very nice. Our sales agent is great, very responsive even out of working hours! Our superintendent is also great, taking care of any issue at the first moment.

We love our home. Our Superintendent Saul was very accommodating and always available. Any major or minor issues we had were resolved with Saul’s empathy and timely response. We always felt like he was our greatest advocate and wanted what was best for us and our new home.

I am happy to go with Richmond American home. Everything went well from the first start until I got the house. They took care really good of customer.

Experience is good,, house is nice

Great experience overall. The value for the home was perfect. Material quality of the house was to be expected. After moving in door knobs and lights fell off. Paint a little sloppy after noticing being there for awhile. Overall, I would work with Richmond again.

Chris the Superintendent made me feel like a valued customer through his white glove service and follow up/follow through post close items. I have had a seamless home buying experience and they truly go above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. This was a great starter home and I absolutely love the floorspace of my Chicago Floorplan especially upstairs. I feel I purchased a great Floorplan with views at a fair market price.

Tim- supervisor was and is outstanding. He was there in the beginning and I know he will have my back no matter what! Super helpfull!

If you get Eric as your super you’re in great hands. Caitlin made the buying experience very smooth and easy!

I came across Richmond by luck, on the MSL website. I had an awesome realtor couple Aurora/Hector. After seeing multiple homes and meeting sales people I went with Richmond. I will say that my sales Rep Lawrence since day one I met him was very pleasant. I say that because I am a first time buyer and I do not always match what I show on paper, if you know you know what I mean. Lawrence was the most informative, respectful, transparent, funny, knowledgeable sales rep I ran across. He let me ask all “non dumb” questions that every sales people were seemed annoyed to answer. Richmond in house lender also made it very simple and efficient until the end but after all was done I understand why so. All I have to say and recommend to anyone specially first time buyers, make sure all your documents are written in English. In regard to that portion I want to say Shawna was great at answering all my loan questions and concerns. The escrow people were not as fun nonetheless they made a speedy and efficient transaction. After living here for two months I am in love with the community and the continued support from everyone involved with Richmond. I can not wait to elevate the “basic” elements of this build. This is my first home, it is a dream for me! Since I didn’t have experience I needed a group of people to trust, to show me what I need to learn! The Richmond was so great doing that, special Harry that was there with me in all details, from loan to the design of my house! I always had questions answered, also when I came to visit the property, they patiently explained to me all the details of the construction. I really like my house and I’m so thankful!
