From the sell agent , loan officer, the walk through guy, was such a great and easy experience. They took off the pressure of buying and made it enjoyable. If I had to do it again, I will still do it with Richmond American.

I am pleased with my overall experience. Moved in just days before the hurricane, and to my surprise, the home held very well. Some water was entered through the ventilation system, but nothing to complaint about.

I’m happy with the new home, but we have been addressing a bunch of minor issues.

Since starting the process with Richmond American homes it has been a nightmare. The only good person i meet was the Sales agent, everyone after him has been horrible. I have been living in my home a month and I still cant get the company to fix all the all the problem I have in. these are problem that have been mentioned since I did my initial walkthrough of the home. If I could get out of my loan and go find another builder I will do it in a heartbeat. Since I signed the final paperwork i have been treated as if I don't exist at all. Now I have to figure out on my own hope to fix the problems in my home because after multiple emails ignored by their customer care team, I have to start coming out of pocket because my family safety is my only priority. ... Loved the overall experience with Richmond they really care the most for the "home buying" process. Very much enjoyed seeing the home being build from ground up. Very clean and professional when doing our weekly walk through. Every little detail upon final walk through was addressed! Not one thing was skipped. We were very please and couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Overall, I like the people I have dealt with while purchasing my home. I'm not super happy with the workmanship of the home or how slow it is to get the issues addressed. I've been in the house for a month and I still don't have my garage floor problem fixed OR at least had any correspondence from the builder on when it'll be fixed. The said that the problem is out of spec and should be fixed but haven't done anything, to my knowledge, to fix it.

I had a very good experience with the sales staff, knowable and friendly, they helped my through the entire buying process. On the construction end there was many issues that needed fixed, Ive been in my new home 5 weeks and yet not all issues have been addressed. I had to be on the phone every week complaining in order to get anything done. I feel that these issues should have been complete on the 2nd walkthrough prior to moving in.

Everything from start to finish was a great experience! Everyone from Richmond homes was extremely helpful and answered all our questions, I would highly recommend doing business with them in the future.

I like my home, but I almost backed out over struggles with financing. The portal would allow multiple page uploads on pages that didn't need them, but would not allow on pages that needed them. I had to supply the same paperwork several times...4 times on one issue. I was living in a motel and didn't have access to a desktop or laptop. I would receive alerts that I would need to supply something "immediately" that I had already supplied or my financing was going to be delayed and I would loose my buyer's incentives. I was also working out of a different branch at my job. This was my 3rd home purchase, and it was unnecessarily stressful in comparison. I think the parties did not have good communication. ... More

Everything was fine. We just have not heard anything yet about our issues needing attention.

Oversight of subcontractors is terrible. Obvious poor work left for me to find and then chase down an unresponsive warranty group. I had fewer quality issues when I moved into a used home

Take people request in consideration instead of ignoring right after you got funded.

The Richmond staff was helpful and friendly from start to finish! Julio answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns during the home buying process. David found a home that worked with my time frame, delivered on schedule. Josh was awesome during the walkthrough and follow-up. He was patient, informative, and thorough.

Cheap doors, throughout. Materials are marginal in the bathrooms. Design is nice , but is overshadowed By Poor paint quality.

The appliances were great also the floor plan and front yard and irrigation and plants. Driveway very nice. Great view. The painting and wall work were below standard. very sloppy and not done w care. Looked like very rushed job. Hose to vent dryer missing. Windows filthy. Buying home was amazing, getting the items that where on the 30 day list to be fixed seems impossible, I am now thinking that they will not be done unless, I call everyday, which of course I do not have the time! Very disappointing!

She was very informative in the process and continues to go above and beyond to offer assistance. This has been a great experience and I would definitely recommend to a friend or family member.

The whole team at Richmond American are wonderful, from the interior design team, Patricia, my sales representative, to James, the construction superintendent. Richmond American builds a great product!

The house itself was delivered ok. The workmanship was less than stellar. When we did the final walkthrough we placed lots of blue tape but maybe 10% was fixed and then the clean up was terrible. When you move into a new home you shouldn’t have to clean up before moving in. We found lots of drywall dust in wall and trim throughout the home. The front door looks terrible with bubbling paint and streaks. The painters were sent back but it looks worse now. When we did the 30 day checkup she assured us that it will be taken care of. I really like the home but the little things make it hard to be happy about paying so much for a house. When everything is completely taken care of then I’m sure I will feel better about things. ... The best part of the entire process is how seamlessly it was. Special mention to Dale on sales, the way he manage the communication to my wife and kids made a difference, I was ready, but the rest of my family gave me the thumbs up after talking to Dale. The handover from sales to finance, then to the loan department, and everyone in between. This process, from Richmond, was focus on making sure I was informed of the next steps and feel comfortable at any point.
