Our overall experience with Richmond was normal. Ms. Ranesha was awesome and helped as much as she could. Overall, we have no complaints.

Richmond American has great incentives right now. It was a super tight time line to close on a move-in ready home. Using their in-house lender was challenging, but it all worked out in the end. We got a modern, energy efficient home in a great neighborhood. What more can you ask for?

From the sales team to the warranty claims department (after my purchase), I have been blessed with good people. Thank you.

First of all the staff assisting the buying experience were great except for the lady who replaced Melisa (Melisa was awesome). Even the small hiccups were addressed except the north backyard wall that at the top you can walk easily into our neighbors yard and they can with ours. We are hoping that they fix this with just a couple of blocks.

The home has premium finishes and is a good value, especially using the builder's mortgage subsidiary. The buying process was pretty smooth, but very rushed with timeline and the time you have for walk-throughs. You also cannot go with a home inspector to the home and the inspector must be approved by the builder. You are pressured into using subsidiaries for financing and insurance. While there is some misleading marketing pressure, those companies are not responsive. The punchout list was completed, but some finishing touches could have used more care. We also were missing a screendoor and the brackets for a pre-installed TV mount. We've been told the screendoor will be installed when they're back in the community, but the phone number provided to install the TV does not work and the company we were told to use has not responded when we tried a number we found on their website. Superintendent Kurtis knows what he's doing. They are all helpful.

Overall, we enjoy our new home and development. It has become obvious that cost cuts and trades that don't take pride in their work was evident. The walls on both sides of our property needed to be higher. Everyone could see into each other's backyard,

I really love our new home it’s amazing beginning to feel like it was meant to be. Our neighbors are very nice and helpful. Which we have never had before. Aside from there not being enough drawers in the house. It was a pretty good experience.

The office staff was amazing. Jennifer and Teresa always made me feel welcome and did their best to answer questions and address my concerns. I like the floor plan and feel the home is well built, but I do not like that I had absolutely no say in the finishes or the quality. I have already replaced some of the lighting and hardware and I am sure we’ll have to replace fixtures and flooring in a few years. There also was no option to insulate the garage or garage doors, which is a must in Arizona weather. I purchased the home because they offered RV garages, which are great. Your sales representative - Erika was very nice and helpful, if not because of her inputs, we would not have been purchasing this house.

Compared to other builders I encountered during my home search, I believe they are among the better ones. I like most of their homes; however, to save money, some disappointing corners were cut. Building a house from scratch gives you the choice to avoid these issues, but since I bought a pre-made house, I found some aspects disappointing. It would be better if they increased the cost to ensure everything is done properly. Overall, I consider them to be good builders.

I had a very good experience with the sales staff, knowable and friendly, they helped my through the entire buying process. On the construction end there was many issues that needed fixed, Ive been in my new home 5 weeks and yet not all issues have been addressed. I had to be on the phone every week complaining in order to get anything done. I feel that these issues should have been complete on the 2nd walkthrough prior to moving in.

First, I would like to thank my loan officer for being proactive and responsive to my questions. Thank you Kim for all you did, was pleasure working with you. I just hoped that we were given the right amount from the get go by our first sales agent. It was a great tactic pitching the house for a lower price, and when we are seen as really eager, we were informed that all houses needed to be curated and prices will increase. Not appreciated since we really wanted to move forward. And we switched to another sales agent, as the first one switched to a higher role. I really like Mina as she answers my questions right away even in her days off. Very responsive and gives me updates from time to time. There was just misunderstandings on my attempt to switch lots which I am glad did not happen as I really love the one we ended up having. So, it worked out well. There was some minor issues upon moving in which can be fixed right away. And Aleks and Kyle make sure it is resolved or advise on how to get them done. Overall, this buying and moving process was a crazy process but I was really surprised with how things turned out. It was my plan to move to a new house this year and I was not disappointed. It was great working with Henry, he has been accommodating. I believer the in-house lenders need to work in their communication as well as tone towards their customers.

Their loan department sucks period. Everything else is good. Excellent to CET walk and warranty dept. Dj is on top of it! Sales is excellent as well. For the builder, there are lots of unfinished stuff, DJ of warranty made sure these will all get fix!

The home buying experience with Richmond American Homes was positive and I was offered a great deal on the house. I was able to close on the house in one month. Raychel was particularly helpful. Issues found on the home inspection were resolved before closing. Dealing with the mortgage company (Home American Mortgage Company); however, was difficult. Thankfully the mortgage was sold right after the home purchase.

We are very pleased with the purchase of our new home. However We would have preferred that a floor plan option were offered to us before we sign the contract. We saw the model home and we fell in love with the floor plan, but apparently they built the floor plan they had available or they just decided for us. Also the superintendent was not very helpful and nice when we close our house since there were pending issues to be completed in the house that he never took care. Other than that the house is beautiful. There are areas where there were needed more lights like in the living room where they put only one single light! The trees were dead when they delivered the house to us. There were two appliances brand new and already broken. We had to call the manufacturer and have them fixed by ourselves! No assistance from the builder! The backyard lot was not properly delimited so they put the limits like 20 feet less than what our survey plan says. I would say I have no complaints about the way we qualify and financially speaking close the house, but we are not happy with the way the superintendent dealed with the pending finishings of the house. There is still parts of the house like the moulding that looks loose in some areas. ... More
