Beautiful homes and neighborhood as the title suggests. We bought our first home in NV and coming from the east coast. Little issues here and there but took the home care team 3-6 weeks to resolve the issues. Shower rod for 1 of our bathrooms was forgotten and didn’t get to use it for almost 1 month until I called Corporate Center. Otherwise we’ve been happy with our purchase.

One of the biggest reason of me and lots of my friends and clients bought homes in Lathrop because of your sales person ESTHER AGGAZARIAN. One of the best sales person I have ever seen with any builder. She is so responsive and trustworthy, and always very prompt to reply to any of the questions we had. But on the other hand responsiveness to respond to warranty requests within 30 days of purchase is completely ignored by our service rep Paul Hooper. Window is cracked already and I have to wait a month for a replacement. Paint is poorly done with drip marks all over. All the screws in the house are lose. The stucco is coming off already. The floor makes noise and it’s not even level. This house was built too quickly and with poor attention to detail.

I did not feel great. Degine of the home is nice but the meterails use are very cheap and but house price is not cheap as they use the meterails quality.

We moved into a corner lot with a water tank behind us, the entire water tank is surrounded by a rock wall and in several other residents backyards but ours. When trying to get answers as to why we did not get a rock wall fence as well no had any answers. The city decided to put up an ugly barb wire prison fence directly in our backyard. To start things off, my wife and i just HAPPENED to be in the area looking for homes with our broker. We had a great first impression with our sales person. He was straight forward, very knowledgeable and only showed us homes that would only meet our needs. The home buying process was just a disaster from there. Our sales person Jordan initially told us our lease would be bought out, and that we would not pay any closing costs. Overall, I'm disappointed in the quality and craftsmanship of our home. After being moved in for just over a month, more and more issues are coming to light. Corners were definitely cut to save the builder money. The home seemed rushed to get completed as well. The silver lining to all of this is that so far, they have been fixing issues in a timely manner once they are brought to them.

The Sales staff lacks professionalism, is very unresponsive to any issue or concern. Where they rate higher is their Superintendent who takes great care during the building process and after.

A Band of Brothers - Some Good Some Bad

Our overall experience was mixed, some people like our Super Intendent were terrific while others in Sales and Finance were not very good, being difficult to work with, getting details incorrect because it seemed like they did have time to focus on you or make sure Richmond appeared like a united company. Systems like the main drain were untested until we moved in, and turned out to be an issue that caused the company huge repairs. This is our second Richmond American home and the first one went a lot smoother and I feel was constructed with higher quality.

So far, overall, we like the home and the neighborhood. There were incidences for us that could have definitely been better. There are 2 problems we had purchasing this home. One being that before we moved in, we did our our first walk thru to blue tape any last-minute imperfections that could be addressed and very little of it was actually addressed and Jesse kept trying to divert my attention and make excuses as to why those things were'nt done. While the floor plan was good the quality was very poor. Who puts in a double vanity with no drawers? Cabinets are the worst with no handles to open them and only half shelves in lower cabinets. Local construction contact promises whatever and does not deliver.

Our house was built very fast. Because of the speed of the build, some details were glossed over. Window trim drywall is wavy around the windows. The painters that were used to paint our house are pretty bad. Many parts of the house had to be re-painted due to poor quality. The painters left a lot of paint spots on the floors and did not appear to use drop clothes while painting. The other problem is that they spread caulk and drywall on the carpet that I have been cleaning up. The ceiling drywall is wavy.
