I’m glad I went with Richmond and would do it again if necessary. I worked with the builder and sales person throughout the process of the home. Excellent service.

Make sure that EVERYTHING is fixed or finished BEFORE you sign the closing papers. Because after that nothing gets fixed.

Got a good deal on builder closeout. there were some issues but nothing major.

I moved from the Seattle area because I had a goal of owning my first home. Housing market caused me to look at different states to achieve my goal. When I arrived at the Richmond American Home Property I was greeted by a wonderful agent Greysi that helped me until the very end. She made my move from Washington state to North Las Vegas smooth and very pleasant!

Sales process good. However, the title company HORRIBLE. the house has a leak, they forced me to close with an uncompleted list of items that they have not fixed yet. It’s been a month and no one has contacted me.

At the time of signing, house was framed. Issues began almost immediately. A section of the garage foundation had to be cut out and repaired. This left a small portion of the garage floor discolored and scarred. It also added about a month to the estimated close. Once the house was back on track, the plumbing/electrical began. County inspection occurred and the dryer vent was determined to be too long and out of code. Between the redesign, county approval, and the fix, this added an additional two months OR MORE to our close date. It seemed like after that was finally sorted out, the house moved pretty fast.. Almost uncomfortably fast. The sales lady, Hala, was nice. We had a superintendent for one week in the beginning and then he left. We got a new one named Danny. Probably the worst, most incompetent person that works for Richmond. Not sure how he still has a job. We ended with Albert and he is better. Hala was a good communicator. Danny was terrible and would sometimes not even respond to my emails or questions. Albert responds to my questions. We'll see how warranty goes but I am not holding my breath. Many small issues were not taken care of. We were told smoke detector batteries were replaced. They were not. Back deck repair to ceiling never completed. Many bent screens were not replaced. Bathroom mirror promised replacement was never done. I have called Paul about these problems with no response. We were not asking much to have these problems resolved. Guess I will be repairing myself

Smooth closing process. Supers go above and beyond to help with any issues we've had. Love my new home

This is the second new build we have purchased and this was by far an inferior experience. Richmond was not willing to work with us throughout the process and treated us like nothing more than a contract. We waited 6 months for this home and when we finally signed they refused to let us select structural upgrades due to other buyers dropping out, even though we had offered to put more money down and had sold our old home and were living in an an apartment. Ultimately we just wanted them to allow us to select an $8k structural upgrade for a sliding door and they said no. We were non-chalantly told that other buyers were putting sliding doors in after, so we thought we would do the same - fast forward and we are getting quotes of $35k-$40k for the same sliding door that Richmond refused to let us purchase and pay for. The building process was horrible as well, there were crazy lapses in communication, we never received our framing walkthrough or really any updates. The community went through multiple constructions managers and were extremely delayed in other phases, which trickled down to us. We were told one day before that our closing was delayed and would be pushed out. They installed the wrong microwave and refused to correct it. They provided us with $750 as compensation for the incorrect microwave, but this was not enough to cover the $2k it cost us to replace it. The finishes are sloppy and the items we had on our final walk through list have not been completed and we have been in the home for over a month. I would not recommend Richmond to anyone, not even my worst enemy - I cannot emphasize enough how much most (there were a few kind folks) of the staff here have absolutely no care for their customers. My mother is buying a condo with Taylor Morrison and I cannot describe how much different her experience has been. I have been joining her for her appointments and I’ve almost been in tears at the level of service and help they provide compared to Richmond. RUN away from this builder and do research on other communities in the area -THEY DO NOT CARE AND WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU. They only care about their bottom line and it was abundantly clear throughout the process. ... More

Jerry, Carolina, Michelle were fantastic to work with. They answered all our questions and never made us feel anything but we were their first priority

We have had a great experience buying our new home. It’s big, spacious and my family and I we find ourselves comfortably living in our house. It definitely excelled our expectations!!! We encountered a few minor things that needed attention but once we contacted the person in charge of it, the things were taken care of right away. I’d recommend Richmond to anybody looking for a home.

After moving into our new Richmond American home, there were a multitude of problems uncovered. We submitted one warranty request for each issue as instructed. There were 15 requests created, and over one month later only 1 request has been addressed. We emailed the sales office, no response. We purchased solar for the home, over one month later solar is still not activated. There was an issue with the county and the property address, at one point there were 4 different mailing addresses for the same property (only 1 being the actual address). A brand-new home and we have had a breaker trip when doing the laundry. Would not recommend Richmond American to anyone. ... More

Our experience was extremely happy. Rosemary and Marcos, as well as Eric were literally holding our hands as we walked through a rather difficult sell/buy situation. The underwriting staff were courteous and quite professional. I thank and bless them all. THIS is the way to sell a home.

The construction superintendent does not have any control over the subcontractors resulting in shoddy work and a frustrating purchase process. Finishes and materials are less than mediocre. Responsiveness from the builder is below standard.

Overall my wife and I are better living here in Mesquite Nv, than Las Vegas Nevada

The superintendent Eric was excellent. Very thorough and responsive.

The home is great, Susan was great to work with, Joey also has gone above and beyond. As far as purchasing the home, worst experience ever. Terrible communication amongst themselves, lots of wasted time because no one could pick up a phone to communicate what they needed specifically.

Everyone was so pleasant, even though we had to problems, they came and took care of it with no hesitation

overall experience was good especially betty and victoria but the loan officer she provided me such a stupid lady kim like she has bad attitude never reply to your calls emails and messages i don’t know why hire that kinda idiot people in their teams. if your loan officer is kim good luck to your guys. they need to fire her alteast then her attitude towards truckers little nice

Salesperson, David and the construction supervisor, Bob are the only persons I can say, WOW they are amazingly amazing!!!! Responsible, responded in timely manners, kind, friendly… I can’t really finish the list of how incredible person they are, God bless them!

I think the job they did on the house was well done. Overall the quality is great. Some minor fixes are required, but overall great.

Not impressed with customer service and constantly having to remind people on how to do their jobs. Horrible at returning texts and phone calls. Disappointed because I thought Richmond was a good and reliable company.

The best experience I had with Richmond is the sales rep. Inna was very detail and responsive and she was absolutely great to work with! She went the extra mile to help me! It was a great experience!
