Please due your due diligence! They lie and are deceitful, they will not do any repairs that they schedule. The financing is a total SCAM and I am filing consumer protection complaint with the attorney general.

I wouldn’t recommend buying a house with Richmond American. This has been the worst experience ever to buy a house. There was absolutely no verbal communication from finance at all. Every time I called no one answered the phone. They would barely communicate through email. I feel that they did not walk us through the process and nothing was explained. There's is nothing to highlight! From start to finish, I hard a terrible experience. From sales person, gallery appointment and superintendent. I've been in my home now 6 weeks and still waiting for things to be completed from my initial walk through. I was pressured the entire process bullied, treated unfair and not at all with any type of compassion or even a customer. I was nothing but another house to close before the end of the quarter. Everything about this experience has been bad. When we initially signed the paperwork we purchased sight-unseen. We liked the area and the floor plan so we ignored all of the terrible reviews of the builder online. Well, the bad reviews are well-deserved. We were initially told the home would be completed in January. We closed in March. The sales agent is excellent, but unfortunately, the home is poorly built with numerous issues. Moreover, I discovered that the construction of the home did not adhere to building department codes. During the walkthrough, they may attempt to deceive you to cover their mistakes. So when the issue happens, they will not be responsible. I will be filing to the contractor board

Poor house quality from floor to ceiling. We were assured of the 1st 30-day warranty to fix chips, cracks, paints, etc but nobody answered us after multiple email, calls and text messages. Very unprofessional people!! Never again with this builder!

I purchased my first home in Dec 2023. There were pending things to get fixed at the last walkthrough; however, as of today's date, we continue waiting for the builder to complete this. No one has contacted me to follow up but only after me reaching out. It has been a very disappointing experience. We bought this home with a lot of time and effort. Staff responsiveness and attention to this matter has been very poor.

This was the worst experience of my life. I would never buy from Richmond American Homes again, once you close and pay that’s it your pretty much on your own.
