Overall experience its been good. The customer service from Terin is excellent, if the whole review would be based on her service, we would do a 5-star review. She went above and beyond for our family to get the house. Luke also has been great at honoring his word and fixing what he says he’s going to get fixed. The quality of products used isn’t the best but so far house it’s holding up. Future homeowners should do a thorough inspection, even if needed to be paid out of pocket to do so. Before moving in, they fixed everything right away. Once you moved in everything is through warranty.

Brenda did an amazing job with our purchasing experience. She made our experience extremely helpful. The conversation with the lending teams were very difficult as we were trying to line out the mortgage. One or 230 minute zoom calls would have made the experience much easier. Raf throughout the blue tape walks and our entire purchasing experience. The construction team was updating or fixing items ongoing, which was super helpful. It helped us feel heard.

The American Home that I bought is beautiful and I love it of course the model had all the nice things in it. One of my pet pees is the master bathroom has no linen closet one linen closet in a three bed room house. The dish washer was not working their was a lot of blame to go around the GE to the builder no one was responsible two weeks later no dish washer it was the builder crew who did not hook it up also GE came out and they could not see what the problem was and it's there product.

The timeline promised was definitely met and delivered.

We moved in about 5 weeks ago. Rob was very helpful during the purchase. Carlos has been wonderful in addressing minor issues that need attention. He communicates very well and we are very appreciative of that. Cris has been great and helping us with our yard. We had a plant die in the front yard and it has already been replaced. Everyone has been very nice and our home is beautiful.

I feel like I was misled when some of the things that I called out during my walk-through were promised to be fixed before I close after receiving my keys as well as living in the home for 75 days some of the issues that I called out during the walk-through are still issues. And after moving in and asking for items to be fixed, promise that they would come out the next couple days nobody ever showed up still currently working on getting these issues resolved as well as building supplies a lot of scrap material left in the garage which I had to take to the dump and pay to dispose myself From brackets to handrails to scrap wood all just left in the garage for me to take care of. I currently still have blue tape on my wall from my original walk-through of items that were supposed to be taken care of. They still haven’t been. ... More

I had a great experience from the moment I contacted Richmond American Homes, to the tour of homes, and the buying process. Sharolynn was exceptional and we were extremely impressed by her! We used their mortgage lender which was frustrating at times with the back and forth of information that had to be sent multiple times, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Love the craftsmanship of the home. When we did the walk through they were very thorough which I appreciated. Thank you!

It’s been a pleasure buying my second Richmond home, my first Richmond home is in Ontario California. The quality is there and craftsmanship is there. The first home was a little bit of a challenge in the financial part of the transaction, but the second was a lot smoother. If I could have changed a few things it would be an upgrade on the paint and carpet. Everything else is exactly what it should be and more . Very pleased with our choice in our purchase.

We are absolutely obsessed with our new home. our sales agent was Jim & he was the best. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our first time building a house!

From the beginning to the end, the process was very smooth, even with any unseen obstacles the closing team was on top of it and house is built with minimal issues, any issues that was pointed out the superintendent fixed quickly or stayed on top of until resolved. Also the sales team was very welcoming and knowledgeable with quick response to any questions or concerns.

Richmond did a great job on this house. Our salesman and construction super were great to work with. We still paid too much for the house but needed a place to live:(

Our experience with Mike our sales person and the warranty dept at 30 days has been spectacular. We closed with no opening issues and at our 30 day we had 3 very minor issues that were closed out in 7 days. Amazing!

From the start I had a exceptional service from my Sales Rep and fell in love with the design of Richmond American home. The entire team has been helpful and made the whole experience very pleasant.

Sloppy craftsmanship, construction and slow to respond to request for fixing issues.

Love my home however we did 2 walkthroughs prior to close to make a list of things that needed to be addressed. None of those things have been addressed. Despite the “ warranty” I cannot get anyone to answer me. I have called, put work orders in and I am ignored. I have a door that won’t even close! Overall I do love my house but do not sign closing documents until everything is correct. You will never hear from them again

My superintendent is very professional and knowledgeable.

My fiancee and I found a Hemmingway model that was already built and immediately fell in love with the floor plan although we didn't fall in love with the already built house in a different development. Then we got lucky to find the floor plan of our dream home for a brand new one! Beverly made the buying experience positive and great! She answered all of our questions along the way as well as after the purchase and she was still there for anything we needed and even responded on her days off before and after the sale. Our construction managers Nicole and Emily answered all of our technical questions along the way and like Beverly, they took care of us before and after the sale. Rae and Ryan in the warranty department took care of any issues we've been having with the home so far and have done an excellent job! Workmanship and the details get lost in these new homes. 30 day check in never happened. Still need things fixed and addressed.

The builder did ok. House wasn’t really clean when we took possession. Title was fine. Would never use the builders lender again. The incentive was not worth the pain of working with them or the horrible rate. Highly recommend using another lender.

Our experience with Richmond American Homes was one of chaos and confusion. The sales team lack the ability to communicate. Three times the closing dates were moved, but the sales team would not inform us until the before and in once instance we were not informed until the day we were supposed to close and get our keys. We have been in our homes for a month and the punch list items have not been completed from our pre-move-in checklist. Richmond American staff does not inform us with someone is coming over to make repairs; people show up at random time. Overall we had a terrible experience with added stress because no one at Richmond American is able to communicate. ... More

The home buying experience itself was great. Lois was a blessing to work with and the process for me and my wife was as easy as can be. The craftsmanship of the home is where I have the issue. Multiple things built poorly and we are currently awaiting our 30 day inspection so that we can get these critical items fixed and have yet to hear from them on when this inspection will take place. Stairs and floors built poorly, drywall is patchy, windows aren’t sealed and the list goes on. I’m just hoping that they correct their poor craftsmanship at this point so that we can enjoy our home.

The sales rep, Holly, was very friendly, always available, if she didn't have the answer she would call me back quickly with whatever I needed to know. The building supervisor, Dustin, was great. Called me every Friday with updates, answered all my questions and is a super friendly and nice guy who knows the business.

Great working with the team and appreciate their responsiveness and care they've given us through this building process.

Terrible people to work with
