By far this has been the worse experience ever. The entire loan process was ridiculous and overkill, the house was filthy dirty when i received it, my fridge is missing a filter, my garbage disposal wasnt working and i had to pay out of pocket to fix it. I had beer bottles left in my backyards and still had some tape left from the marked areas that needed fixing. Very dissatisfied and the only reason that I finished the pricess waa because of my situation I was in. Beautiful homes but that’s all.

Suzanne is exceptional; she consistently answers all questions and offers any assistance possible, significantly enhancing the experience. We had, and still have, bad experience with the superintendent and assistant superintendent when it comes to 30-day inspection repairs. They are non-responsive most of the time. Quality of the actual home is subpar compared to other builders we’ve used in the past.

Carrie was great to work with. Tim the foreman was absolutely horrible. Several months of delays, we kept getting lied to about the how much longer. Tim knows what stage they were at but kept making it sound like not much longer. Then when we had the walkthrough Tim just kept saying "well that's the way it is". We had a massive water leak upstairs within two weeks of moving in on an issue both our inspector and us brought up to Tim. Our flooring downstairs is not level due to the subfloor. Told I could have fence when buying and when I followed procedure through HOA was told fences are not allowed. Covenant 6.15 on page 15 says fences are allowed. My well being and quality of life are diminished and I am sorry I bought here. The 60k I put down could have gone to more suitable place for my family. I am violated here and every time I walk by the model homes with the fence around them, I relive the violation.

The sales person told us several things that we would have in our current spec home. Only to find out that none of these things were included and we weren't able to change anything. She quit 3 days after we signed and her replacement pleaded ignorance. I will state the obvious: buyer beware.

We purchased our home with good faith hoping to own a quality home unfortunately not only the quality was not satisfactory, but we were forced to purchase the damaged furniture, and now we have noticed the mattresses are not supposed to be sold and they are illegal for sale purposes, and they may result in injury or DEATH. we notified Richmond American Homes, but they are not willing to take the responsibility. There were 15 requests created, and over one month later only 1 request has been addressed. We emailed the sales office, no response. The sales agent Dan was extremely helpful, communicative, and accessible during the pre-purchase process. Once I signed the contract, that completely changed. He took multiple days to respond to questions and didn’t come to the blue tape walkthrough. The construction team at the blue tape walkthrough was an assistant and a guy that was here for a week. While the layouts of these homes are appealing, that’s about where the value ends. The construction includes the absolute bare minimum of items, and what is included is often installed poorly. Be prepared to make numerous warranty claims, which can take anywhere from days to months to get resolved. Sale Dept Great, Designer Ctr Great, Mortgage Company Great, Insurance Co Great but Construction Dept is lacking Pride and Supervision or actucally there is none and when you send emails you get no reply back and I not even sure they read them because nothing is completed or communicated back to you. Had recommended 2 friends and have gone back to them to express my disappointment and wish I had not referred them due to the construction department. Our experience with Richmond America has been extremely disappointing, primarily due to being misled multiple times throughout the process. First, we were lied to about how the incentives work. Additionally, we were given an incorrect cash-to-close amount, which was nearly double what we were initially told.
