The title says it all. From the initial contact with Colin, the home builders representative, to choosing a floor plan that met our needs, through closing, and move in. The entire process went smoothly and quickly without ever feeling pushed or rushed. I would definitely recommend Richmond American Homes to anyone looking to buy a new home.

This is my first home, it is a dream for me! Since I didn’t have experience I needed a group of people to trust, to show me what I need to learn! The Richmond was so great doing that, special Harry that was there with me in all details, from loan to the design of my house! I always had questions answered, also when I came to visit the property, they patiently explained to me all the details of the construction. I really like my house and I’m so thankful!

Buying a Richmond American home was trouble free and responsive home builder that I had used. The sales and construction team are responsive with any questions we have had, for example we had the A/C subcontractor on site in a reasonable amount of time for warranty work. They do follow up on claims for us. The construction Maneger is on site during the weekdays that makes our claims process much more responsive. All in all it was a great home buying experience.

Throughout the entire build process Jordan and sales team provided beyond exceptional Customer service and were always available to answer any questions we had with positive attitudes no matter how often we bugged them. This sales team is what the standard should be when it comes to customer service excellence. Great pair of dudes here. This is my first home and although the process was overwhelming at times, these two gentlemen made it a little better. Overall I have enjoyed our new home. Some issue still to be dealt with but I know the team will get them done. The one thing I will say is training needs to be done on the sprinkler systems. We could have avoided some issues with a better review of the equipment. Jim even came by to address an issue and still didn’t get it resolved. That’s my only complaint. To start things off, my wife and i just HAPPENED to be in the area looking for homes with our broker. We had a great first impression with our sales person. He was straight forward, very knowledgeable and only showed us homes that would only meet our needs. The home buying process was just a disaster from there. Our sales person Jordan initially told us our lease would be bought out, and that we would not pay any closing costs. I’ve experienced the home buying process 5 other times before working with Richmond. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had from beginning to end and even after buying the house. The Lender could not give me firm or confident answers to my questions. I go the run around many times from the sales person and the construction person in charge while the home was being built in regards to things the home came with and what, how and when it was going to be finished out with. We were so excited, when it comes to the size of the home and location. Salesman Mr. Garrett Luther just awesome to work with. Other than that, build quality can be improved. Covered plumbing underneath the sink should have been caulked to cover them properly. Trim under the island just an eye soring--should not have left the way it was from the start. Run off paint, exhaust tubes for water heater all dirty. Broken gate, water flooding water meter from next door, sprinkler heads left exposed. I wish I could give a higher rating. I hope Richmond can make an improvement from my honest review.
