Our sales experience was very good. Our sales person Ted was very helpful in helping us make decisions but wasn’t pushy. The Trilogy house designs are very well laid out. Construction, however, was a disaster. 22 months to build, constant oversight of quality needed due to lack of construction supervision. Poor quality of most trades, not corrected by construction supervisor. Very slow or nonexistent response to problems noted during construction. Now the warranty people are trying to fix a bunch of items left over due to the inattention of the construction supervisor. In summary, great ...

Thought Shea Homes was a good builder. Not so much on my home. Too many things wrong with it. I expected better from Shea Homes.

Many large problems with construction of workmanship both large and small issues. Priority to resolve is treated as secondary once closed. Concerned these issues will ever get resolved

Your customer service department leaves ALOT to be desired. Our $16,000 patio sliding door has marks all over the frame. The shower curtain rod was broken from the start, No vent hood shroud, hole in the patio roof. Electrical problems. Warped baseboards. Stains on carpet that were there before wr moved in and on and on (there's ALOT more and NOTHING has been addressed in over a month. We are no dealing with one of the CEO's at Shea, because your customer service department fixes NOTHING.

Lack of oversight by field managers during construction led to utterly disgraceful results, especially with electrical issues, still ongoing 3 months in.

ANYTHING to do with workmanship, or requiring individual competence in a trade was terrible. Entire electrical system had to be virtually re-done, inside and out. While being told during the process, everything was going great, I would come here and the home was a disaster, led to 4 -6 week delay. Many issues still not resolved. Our 30 day inspection fixes MIGHT be partially done by the 90 day point. Electriacl, tile/grout, paint are a constant source frustration/battle with Shea. Dishwasher didn't work for 60 days and Shea forced me to get our own repair person who threatened to walk ...

Sales process was great, design center process was a nightmare ! The design center messed up a lot which made the building process very stressful for me.

This has not been a good experience. Have been in house over 3 months and still dealing with necessary repairs and there seems to be no sense of urgency. My main concern is that the wood floors have never looked good and this was a very expensive upgrade. They were evidently never cleaned properly and there’s always been kind of a cloudiness and still has some adhesive smears here and there. The Shea warranty dept has made several attempts to take care of them but hasn’t been successful. I purchased during covid, material shortages, labor shortages and a building boom in Arizona. That said, Shea had a hard time getting materials and quality labor. I think Shea could have done a better job supervising their subs that were not providing quality work.

The follow up for repairs etc. is poor. The trades run Shea not the other way around. People show up unannounced and are not controlled. There is profit and there is overhead and things will not be so easy in the future as it gets back to more normal.

Terrible lot. Since all I saw were dirt lots when I purchased, I didn't know that the air conditioning units would be placed right outside my bedroom window! Both my neighbors and mine are there. On the other side, my neighbor's unit is right in front of my living room. Houses are squeezed together. I'm still waiting for them to put the cabinet door on. It's been sitting here for 3 months. We were delayed over and over. The house sat completely still at frame for 5 1/2 months waited for HVAC. It took ONE day to do the HVAC when they finally showed up. 21 month build time. Then closed the house with items not completed. Every neighbor we have talked to had items not completed when they closed. Not a quality home. This is our third new build and by far the worst one. We are very disappointed.

Many misrepresentations about what is included, very poor communication, many delays due to work having to be done over and over. Interior paint and trim is very sloppy and not to a professional standard for even an entry level home. Delays were not due to covid they were due to poor resource management and needless duplication of work that is still a mess.

Please make sure your project manager stays focused on all aspects during the building process, and doesn't make excuses for what she or he can't keep up with. Most alarming was hearing we weren't getting a custom home, even from the Contruction Manager. We all know these aren't custom homes, but most of us have upgraded our homes to make what we would like to have included.

We have been a months after our close, never should have closed, to address many defects noted in the pre-close walk through. Ordered and paid for specific appliances (paid for options) that we did not get, they substituted inferior appliances and so far have refused to replace them. Trades show up and have no idea what they are repairing.

We purchased a new build Mosaic model at the beginning of the pandemic, sadly what we purchased has not come close to meeting our expectations. We rented in the community during the build process and we were able to catch many issues. Once we moved in, it’s been an on-going punch list of repairs due to poor craftsmanship. Not one cupboard or drawer works correctly, light fixtures are off center and now a broken primary condensation pipe has lead to opening up our living room wall to dry out the insulation and sheet rock. During the final inspection we found several issues that were documented but do not have any action plan to address. We had discovered the manufacturer of the main power panel had reported issues with quality of breakers that could cause a fire. We were told that would be investigated but 90 days later no update. A garage door panel was dented after installation and prior to taking possession.
