All those that I have dealt with are swift in response, caring, professional and courteous. Special shout out to Owen Crannell. He often went over and above the call of duty.

Sonja in Sales and Karina in field operations were fabulous every step of the way. Landscaping company was non-responsive throughout the process and product quality was lacking. Quantum for the high voltage and audio visual was very good from a sales perspective. The operations side is lacking. I’ve been here two months and still not completely operational.

The fallow up after move in with Annie our customer field rep was excellent on issues that needed to be corrected. The one thing that wasn't a good experience was with TLB landscaping not doing what they said they would do, and getting them to agree they were wrong and coming back to correct was like pulling teeth, and we are still waiting on a correction 3 months later. If I was to do over again I would use a different landscaping co TLB was tied in with Shea homes, we were unable to use anyone else if we wanted to put into the mortgage. They also are over priced and poor customer service.

Overall we were very satisfied, the experience was better than expected.

They care about the build and entire process

We are pleased with our home and we feel that Shea deserves the good reputation that it has. We had a couple of issues when we first moved but they have been resolved. The customer relations people have been excellent. We were a little disappointed with the slow response of the HOA on some issues but that is improving. (We are very supportive of a strong HOA by the way but they should answer phone calls and e-mails promptly.)

The homes are built with a group of helpful people.

Design home is well planned and very tastefully done.

Reasonable value in a friendly and highly amenitized community. Service was good both before AND after the sale.

My sales girl was my saving grace. She helped me with the many questions I had. Moving from another state, being homeless for nine months while my home was being built and traveling with three cats and a dog, across the USA, to stay with friends and relatives, during Covid wasn't easy. D. C. was so wonderful to answer all my questions often, and always within 24 hours.

This is the second Shea home we’ve built. We’ve always been pleased with the quality of the finished product, as well as Shea’s service both before and after the sale.

We can’t say enough about Karina and how much she helped us. That being said, I wish we had any time with the landscape folks. We didn’t. Sure, at the beginning they were there but it would have been nice to have more discussions with them along the way. We bought a 600$ maple tree for the backyard that comes with no guarantees. Lowe’s and Home Depot guarantees their plants for a year. Not happy about that. We are treating that tree better then our first born son. Shea homes has been very good to us and we are thankful for that. We are somewhat concerned about having another pool or club seeing all the new building going on. Sales was extraordinary making it possible to relocate from VA. Would have been impossible without Margie’s help. Mortgage lending was extremely supportive and innovative. Found a very creative mortgage that was ideal for us! Field mgr was awesome. Jason was a 12 on a 1-10 scale. I’ve built 6 new homes, Jason was by far the best. TLB landscaping is outstanding! I give the Homebuying experience 4 stars. The only drawback I experienced with the Shea company was that they do not go "out of the box". When you make a request, it was 100% denied. Boundaries were set, and they do not budged, and stayed within the lines. Sometimes, you need to give a little leeway...which would have made the experience a bit more personal, understanding, and not just another transaction with the seller. Other than that, I enjoyed working with your outstanding employees, particularly April, Trisha, Alicia, Frankie, Ryan, and Todd. Thank you.

We really liked that Shea had the different stage reviews, in the building process. Especially showing us the walls before closing with sheet rock. This helped in making decision's of where to place things on the walls. It would have been nice, if during the building process, we could have added solar and or if that had been an option. Especially here in Arizona. Otherwise, everything was great. And the superintendent Alexis was GREAT to work with.

We are very happy with our new home. The quality of material and products used is very good. The few, very minor, issues we've come across have been quickly addressed and rectified. Our construction field manager, Brad, has been nothing short of fantastic. Right from the start, he has been accessible and responsive to all of our concerns, which was greatly appreciated since we were coming from out of state. Overall, I'd say it's been really good home-buying experience.

I searched the Winchester VA area online for 55+ communities, including with Google Earth at street level. The latter was very little help because Trilogy east is still under construction. The Shea website for Lake Frederick was most helpful for previews and prices of models. Dan Wall was very helpful through the contract process. Sight and Sound failed me, my agent actually forgot to order my television equipment. Their Techs showed up and had no television to install.

Special call out to the sales team, Liz and Laura- and our project manager Brian and warranty coordinator Lala off to a good start. Overall build is good, its definitely not custom, but we new that going into the build. The day we took possession, the painter a few hours before we arrived, dripped white paint all over the floor- and left the doors open in 119 degree heat, creating a massive amount of insects inside the home that took a month to get rid of them- that was definitely frustrating . Problem with original design center team, but Shea Homes stepped up and did the right thing eventually, but at the time, that was very disappointing that we had to go through that experience, what should have been an awesome time at the design center, we left feeling insulted and really frustrated. Should have done back yards for all homes not just the inventory homes that are not selling.
