My sales girl was my saving grace. She helped me with the many questions I had. Moving from another state, being homeless for nine months while my home was being built and traveling with three cats and a dog, across the USA, to stay with friends and relatives, during Covid wasn't easy. D. C. was so wonderful to answer all my questions often, and always within 24 hours.

This is the second Shea home we’ve built. We’ve always been pleased with the quality of the finished product, as well as Shea’s service both before and after the sale.

We can’t say enough about Karina and how much she helped us. That being said, I wish we had any time with the landscape folks. We didn’t. Sure, at the beginning they were there but it would have been nice to have more discussions with them along the way. We bought a 600$ maple tree for the backyard that comes with no guarantees. Lowe’s and Home Depot guarantees their plants for a year. Not happy about that. We are treating that tree better then our first born son. Shea homes has been very good to us and we are thankful for that. We are somewhat concerned about having another pool or club seeing all the new building going on. Everything was transparent. Models were so helpful to visualize the right floor plan choice for us. There were upgrades in the models that were not available however at the design center. Just be aware. Upon moving in there were some issues (as expected) with a new home but they were addressed quicky by Sanel our warranty specialist.

Sales representative was fantastic through complete process and continues to be even after closing. Construction team and warranty team have been very responsive and continue to satisfy our needs. We unfortunately missed out on quite a few options as the design representative was unfamiliar with Shea homes and the time afforded us was insufficient.

Great people to work with. Kirstie, Mike, Laura, Cooper, Sharon and all security guards very helpful and very friendly.

They were very responsive with not on words but their actions for results were amazing.

Overall experience was good.After occupancy response to issues needs improvement.

Sales was extraordinary making it possible to relocate from VA. Would have been impossible without Margie’s help. Mortgage lending was extremely supportive and innovative. Found a very creative mortgage that was ideal for us! Field mgr was awesome. Jason was a 12 on a 1-10 scale. I’ve built 6 new homes, Jason was by far the best. TLB landscaping is outstanding! I give the Homebuying experience 4 stars. The only drawback I experienced with the Shea company was that they do not go "out of the box". When you make a request, it was 100% denied. Boundaries were set, and they do not budged, and stayed within the lines. Sometimes, you need to give a little leeway...which would have made the experience a bit more personal, understanding, and not just another transaction with the seller. Other than that, I enjoyed working with your outstanding employees, particularly April, Trisha, Alicia, Frankie, Ryan, and Todd. Thank you.

We really liked that Shea had the different stage reviews, in the building process. Especially showing us the walls before closing with sheet rock. This helped in making decision's of where to place things on the walls. It would have been nice, if during the building process, we could have added solar and or if that had been an option. Especially here in Arizona. Otherwise, everything was great. And the superintendent Alexis was GREAT to work with.

We are very happy with our new home. The quality of material and products used is very good. The few, very minor, issues we've come across have been quickly addressed and rectified. Our construction field manager, Brad, has been nothing short of fantastic. Right from the start, he has been accessible and responsive to all of our concerns, which was greatly appreciated since we were coming from out of state. Overall, I'd say it's been really good home-buying experience.

I searched the Winchester VA area online for 55+ communities, including with Google Earth at street level. The latter was very little help because Trilogy east is still under construction. The Shea website for Lake Frederick was most helpful for previews and prices of models. Dan Wall was very helpful through the contract process. Sight and Sound failed me, my agent actually forgot to order my television equipment. Their Techs showed up and had no television to install.

Special call out to the sales team, Liz and Laura- and our project manager Brian and warranty coordinator Lala off to a good start. Overall build is good, its definitely not custom, but we new that going into the build. The day we took possession, the painter a few hours before we arrived, dripped white paint all over the floor- and left the doors open in 119 degree heat, creating a massive amount of insects inside the home that took a month to get rid of them- that was definitely frustrating . Problem with original design center team, but Shea Homes stepped up and did the right thing eventually, but at the time, that was very disappointing that we had to go through that experience, what should have been an awesome time at the design center, we left feeling insulted and really frustrated. Should have done back yards for all homes not just the inventory homes that are not selling.

We have had the pleasure of working with some very fine people that have listened to our issues and helped to resolve them.

Mike was great to work with and very responsive thru out the entire Sales process. .Debbie in the Design Center was also the same and our only complaint was that the price of upgrades seemed very high and their lack of flexibility in making simple changes ie deleting a medicine cabinet before the house was even framed. The superintendent, Ryan was fantastic and extremely proud of the work that he and the crew did! Lastly Richard in customer service could not be nicer and extremely responsive and professional. A very good team!!

All Shea employees are great to work with

Purchase experience was generally smooth. Lots of positive interaction with Sonja throughout the process. Larry, on the finance end was good, too. Brad, the GC has been fantastic, Caroline as our liaison, too. Some head-scratchers regarding appliances not working properly from day-one. The "cleaning" and "punchlist" crews seemed to make more messes than they corrected between walk through & closing. Lots of painting splatter needing work

Being at the beginning of a new community build has alot of kinks to work out. Fortunately, BreAnn and my Project Manager Will, along with my Warrantee person, Gus have been easy to work with and responsive. Along with many supply shortages, there have been significant shortages in Skilled labor which has caused delay and less than desirable end results with certain trades. Will and Breann and GUS (he's a GEM) have worked hard to remedy various issues.

Very beautiful home and community. Construction in general is high quality, and design of the home is well laid out, Energy efficient systems and automatic /wireless options are working well and convenient. Shea did well at keeping me apprised of construction progress and held to the promised dates for the construction steps. i rated responsiveness as a three as the warranty service processes seems to have some gaps that allow for concerns to fall through. One gap is that a service request disappeared after being acknowledged. the second is that i twice received letters saying that the service had been completed when it had not. I rated quality of workmanship as a four as i have found two problems with the electrical wiring. One was a dryer plugin wired incorrectly, the second was a ground wire left loosely connected that caused loss of power to the living room. ... More
