I'm a Real Estate agent so I'm very familiar with different builder, there were a few bumps on the road with starting of the construction besides that very responsive, I'm very express by customer services after closing. I highly recommend Shea

First, the good. We love our new home. We love the community as well. From Jason (Sales) to Laura (Design), to Neil (construction) and then Connie (warranty and walk through) we could not be more pleased and thankful for their care, response time, excellent skills and assistance! They all get 5 stars!! Now, the not so good. The landscaping came up short, way short. From having a hard time with initial quote (getting answers on how the fence pricing would work, etc.) and then having it be last step in the design process and be hit with huge price increase from initial estimated quote! The fence continued to be troubling as we neared close as no one communicated to us that our to be neighbors required pool fencing on both sides of us. We paid for our entire fence (which was optional for us) & having been given no opportunity to work with our neighbors, we almost lost square footage to our property. We were told, after we inquired why fence on side of our property was 6 inches closer to our home than the neighbor’s, that since we did not sign off on anything, they automatically placed fence 4 inches (albeit it was 6) towards our home. We were able to get it fixed…but it required a lot of emailing and phone calls, us being the driver. We do appreciate Omar (landscaper-labor) for his quick work and kind attitude. To add insult to injury on the fence, we were contacted 2 months after we closed and moved in, by TLB Office (Tara), informing us that they reviewed our paperwork and found in original quote and signed off price at design (where our fence price had gone from original estimate of $3k or less to $4400) had somehow not included the fence line across back of yard!! They wanted another $2800 from us! However, all our paperwork stated the fence was a full yard fence and we presented the copies we signed off on and they determined it to be error on those we worked with in beginning of process, (Carson/Hunter) , they “waived” the charge and hoped we enjoyed our fence over the 4th of July! Another item that we are still dealing with, and are concerned over, is our “whole home” water filtration system. Bottom line is this, they installed a different type than we understood we were to have. We were not aware this occurred until closing. We had to inquire several times for information on the system and still are not clear on how to maintain it. On an up note? Our water quality is awesome! And we require no salt with this system, and have no loud flushing sounds in wee hours of the morning, plus, we do not need to buy filters for fridge because water is filtered as it enters home. We just felt the change to different system was one we should have been informed of and certainly been given better info on maintenance, I mean, this is our WATER we are dealing with. I’ll end on the upnote I began with, we love our home, and the community. Had it not been for the issues addressed here, they would have been given 5 stars across board. We have been through building process 3 times before this, and none of those journey’s had Covid and supply chain issues…kudos to Shea on that point, as they did everything they could to stay on time with close est. we appreciate them. ... Shea home is of great quality and the price is reasonable. Super good after-sale service. Highly recommend Shea home.

The sales team were great construction manager kept us informed warranty team slow at times to respond to problems a bit of advice if you want to add on options be sure to have them written down verbal contacts not honored

Great experience working with Shea Homes from the initial "shopping" visits all the way through the closing process. We recently completed the 30-day warranty / repair with no issues. Very pleased with the sales, design, and warranty teams at Shea Homes!

We bought a model and we were told that everything would be working at time of closing. However, when I asked that it be put in writing, they refused and ultimately they did not have everything working. They even said at the walk through they would be back and….nothing. I didn’t count on them coming through so not surprised just disappointed in how they treat customers paying that much for a home. As a retired builder, I couldn’t believe how they treat their buyers

The homebuying experience with Shea was very easy. We had two fabulous sales people Paula and Lynda and they kept everything running smoothly and worked out all the complicated details. It’s mind boggling how intricate all those details are and I am so appreciative of Paula and Lynda that they kept everything in order during the whole process. Our two field managers Todd and Mathew oversaw all the details of the construction process and the house turned out beautifully. Melinda in the design show room was very helpful and patient with my decisions for all the details of the house and it paid off, the house looks beautiful. The Initial loan qualification process with Amy went very well, but when we had to update everything a year later that process was more tedious and complicated than I felt it needed to be. It became a arduous and expensive for us and we changed lenders at that time. The closing process was easy and the house presentation was very nice and thoughtful. The house was remarkably clean and perfectly ready for move-in. We had several scheduling issues with the subcontractor I wired but when Adreiel , Matt and Travis arrived they did a good job. We’ve had many issues with the pool and landscaping but those are slowly being worked out. We have been here 2 1/2 months and the house is working very smoothly. We love it. ... More

The process was long due to Covid and the problems with materials and lead times. Shea representatives were always able to talk to even if the news from them wasn't what you wanted to hear. They did the best they could with the trades available to complete the home and make the required fixes. We love the design, feel, and function of the new home tremendously.

It was a wonderful experience building my home with Shea Homes because of George, Angela and Adam. They are responsive, attentive and super nice to work with.

This is our second Shea home and overall it has been a great experience. I only gave 4 stars on price because prices everywhere have skyrocketed and 4 stars on quality because of one fairly significant issue involving location of grab bars in showers The Warranty service has been excellent in every regard. David is professional and very responsive and a credit to your company

I purchased three detached houses in great park community. The Shea home is the best builder.The details and service is great.

I am extremely pleased with my purchase of a Shea home in Trilogy Verde River. The purchase experience with sales rep (Liz) was excellent - she found a more desirable lot during the purchase; the design center representative (Janelle) was meticulous in specifying all the many selections; the mortgage rep (Spencer) was continuously on top of the transaction; the warranty rep (Steve) was -is- quickly responding to any request I may have. very pleased with home; wonderful floorplan

Buying experience with the Sales staff was great. Post-closing not as good. I found a box of nails on my roof two months after closing. 30-day review did not go smoothly. Multiple trades for touch-up issues were scheduled without letting us know. Also, our backyard gate/fence was installed the wrong way and, 9 weeks after closing, it still has not been remedied. Multiple issues with post-closing items still remain pending.

All involved from sales to construction to post construction did a good job.

We very much enjoy living in Wickenburg Ranch. It took considerably more time to build the house than originally planned, which created a ton of challenges. We also had turnover of our building manager several times. There is still a missing component to the new home build. We also utilized the preferred landscaper of Shea homes and have some unresolved issues as well.

Your customer service department leaves ALOT to be desired. Our $16,000 patio sliding door has marks all over the frame. The shower curtain rod was broken from the start, No vent hood shroud, hole in the patio roof. Electrical problems. Warped baseboards. Stains on carpet that were there before wr moved in and on and on (there's ALOT more and NOTHING has been addressed in over a month. We are no dealing with one of the CEO's at Shea, because your customer service department fixes NOTHING.

A very long process, but you were always in the loop every step of the way. This certainly made the experience worthwhile.

Our home is still missing items. Other homes around us that are being completed have the items we are missing, yet we are constantly being told that we have to wait due to shortages. Do not accept your home if not 100% complete or you will be treated like a second rate human when it comes to getting the home completed as promised. We were so excited to buy our new home and especially it being a Shea Home, but have been treated like second rate humans after receiving our home. Each time we inquire about items that are supposed to be completed or replaced, we are told there are still back orders and we have to wait....except all the homes being built around us are getting the items. One would think that a company would take care of the people who trusted in them to keep their word. Sadly disappointed in our experience with Shea homes up to this point. ... More

Expect delays but once you accept this will happen the team overall does a good job keeping you informed of status and delivery date. Good news is your home might appreciate before you even move in.

Shea Homes-Trilogy builds a quality home. My floorpan is functional and efficient. Their standard quality control process is thorough with laser focused attention to detail. Their warranty process is very homeowner friendly.

I purchased during covid, material shortages, labor shortages and a building boom in Arizona. That said, Shea had a hard time getting materials and quality labor. I think Shea could have done a better job supervising their subs that were not providing quality work.

Our Project Manager, Donnie, was excellent.

It is obvious Shea has been around, as a developer, for many years. Not only is the community plan laid out nicely, but the floor plans of each individual model make sense and function very well.
