We are extremely frustrated with the quality of the home. Never expected so many issues and we are pretty sure the issues with the kitchen will never be resolved. No one that can address them really seems to be concerned other then our warranty rep who has little control over the issues.

We bought a model and we were told that everything would be working at time of closing. However, when I asked that it be put in writing, they refused and ultimately they did not have everything working. They even said at the walk through they would be back and….nothing. I didn’t count on them coming through so not surprised just disappointed in how they treat customers paying that much for a home. As a retired builder, I couldn’t believe how they treat their buyers

At this moment we wouldn’t recommend anyone to purchase a Shea Home, matter of fact we wouldn’t let Shea build us a dog house. My wife and I would really like to speak with someone with some authority regarding our experience. We are extremely disappointed.

Delayed move in date, over 6k in added costs. Kitchen Island being replaced because installed a broken piece, still waiting after 2 months, tile in shower and around our tub has to be replaced, used 2 different colors. All of the granite had caulk all over it that need to be cleaned, was told to use a razor blade. No touch up paint given. Many more things to list.

This builder promises a great experience but when things go wrong they run and find excuses Avoid ! Cheap quality and no finished product skills for price paid

The purchasing of this property was the worst experience I have ever had. Damaged products were put into my home and I’m still dealing with Neal for resolution. I’m going to reach out to the better business bureau and issue a formal complaint.

BUYER BEWARE is an understatement. The sales office claim of delivering a "zero-defect home", the result of a series of supposed meticulous inspections by teams of construction professionals is a total farce. I invited the senior Customer Service Rep and the Senior Construction Manager for ALL of Trilogy-Vistancia to my one-month follow-up. They were receptive and did attend. I presented a list of 36 issues (including cracked and chipped driveway, extensive cabinet damage, incredibly poor drywall and painting including globs of paint drips, globby/orange-peeled baseboards vs smooth finish, 5 visibly scratched windows and more), and when we were complete the list had grown to 54 (to Shea's credit for identifying additional issues)...and is still growing. The Senior Construction Manager even stated "we never should have released this home". It's clear Shea is just moving too fast and sacrificing accuracy for speed. Shea agreed to remedy all but 2 issues, but any follow-up on my satisfaction is nearly non-existent and if not for my persistent follow-up on open items this list would never be exhausted. When I inquired about any concession for the extreme impact to my time (2+ months since move-in and still working-off the punch list), establishing my home including having to obtain a storage unit given the significant amount of tile, baseboard, and wall re-work, I was informed that Shea doesn't provide any concession for work accomplished after the buyer takes possession, thus BUYER BEWARE! 54+ issues the Shea "inspection teams" missed and, if I had not identified them and insisted on remedies I'm confident they would have walked-away from this debacle with zero-interest in "customer satisfaction" (my primary Customer Service Rep is more interested in rationalizing obvious defects vs. resolving them). All this re-work is built-in to the price of the home driving the price well beyond a fair asking price. The friends we have made in this community have, and will, overcome this prolonged drive to craftsmanship vs. "craps-manship", and I remain optimistic my wife and I will ultimately enjoy our move to Trilogy; however, the home-buying experience has truly eclipsed nightmarish proportions.
