As a real estate agent myself, I have more experience dealing with builders than a normal person. This is by far the worst experience I had. People working there are rude, inconsiderate, and negligent. The rep mistakenly refunded my deposit, which I had rewire the fund and pay for the wire and returned wire fees. During the set time of closing, I was very sick under Covid. They were not willing give me an extra day to complete the transaction and threaten me to add penalty and forfeited my deposit. After closing, there were absolutely no services at all. I could not reach anyone for questions and services. Moreover, five months passed, none of the initial concerns was addressed and I still don’t have the key to the community pool and public area access. Worst ever experience!!! The environment is comfortable and quiet, the property staff is competent, and the neighbors are friendly and harmonious.

I purchased approx 10 plus residential homes, and Sheahome delivered the poorest house quality I have ever purchased. I think I requested 5-6 warranty services within one month.

Deciding to move is stressful. Shea Homes makes it as enjoyable an experience anyone could ask for. Joining a 55+ community across the country to be closer to family was a daunting thought. I'm here and loving the community and reflecting on the whole process from touring the models to moving in. The sales reps and design studio were the best one could want, the construction superintendent approachable, the warranty process is well executed and the neighborhood friendly and welcoming. I'm glad I chose this community.

The sales team was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, it was a delight to work with them. (Jim, Jackie & Mei) They went beyond to answer any of my questions and/or concerns. I've been a homeowner for most of my adult life, and this was my first 'new build'. I love my new home! The quality, the design...everything!

The home is great, however little things are not been completed right, I think that really brings Shea home over all experience with some dissatisfaction. The escrow was lack of communication( someone on vacation) no one followed up. The front door lock not working when we supposed to ( get the key) the solar was a nightmare. And the location actually does not have a statable internet, I think as a large community, shea home should connect with city and other services provider better that will help with over experience:

They are still actively supporting us as we complete our move in. We love our house - quality is important and the care taken to build our home is evident. Thank you for such a positive experience.

Shea Homes did a great job with the sales process, most but not all of their employees were great and accommodating. This being a starter home I was not expecting everything to be amazing but it was not bad. There are definitely some areas where they could have done better such as having gutters over the rear patio door to keep rain from splashing into the home if your door was open. Better quality control for, paint,(there are paint drops on the floor, towel bars, island etc), cabinet install (drawers do not slide well, and the blemishes and wrong install inside the boxes were just covered with stickers), the sound transmission across floors and bedrooms is disappointing (can hear someone showering upstairs and water draining in the kitchen from downstairs). Lastly the community planning for the driveways and alleyways is not the best, it is difficult to park into your own garage if you have a car parked on the driveway and your neighbor has one on theirs (no backing space or wide enough turn radius) Other than these items the house layout is great and the features provided are an upgrade ... The post sale representative doesn't do his best job to inspect and verify if the issues have resolved. The manner is subpar and I don't feel respected as a shea home owner.

Had plans for the build before I left in April and came back to a finished home with only a few problems. Very nice the way Shay explained everything on your walk-through and before closing. It’s definitely the easiest house I have ever built.

Our sales person was very helpful in listening and waiting patiently for us to make a decision which took 2.5 years. Thank you James. We love our new home and are enjoying living here. Also the responsiveness from Richard has been very appreciated.

Extremely impressed with the multiple inspections done by Shea prior to our taking possession. The management at Shea did the final inspections! The top management comes out to make sure all the upgrades are completed and the quality is up to their specifications. We’re impressed! We were also kept informed throughout every level of construction during the build by our liaison Rudy. He was always available and answered all our questions. He guided us through the build and we had confidence in his experience!! He created a pleasurable experience which doesn’t always happen when building a home.it was completed in seven months which i think is very good in a post pandemic environment. Then Shea takes it to the next level after we took possession to do a check at one month and then again at five months after we took possession!! They will also do a one year warranty walk through too I’m told. They keep communications open to correct any situation that come up. Our satisfaction has been their priority from day one! All through the buying process, everything was a smooth transition. There are few issues after moving to the home related to USPS address issue and HOA. Both of them are pathetic and builder is not able to help us.

I got all required help from the selling team as well as maintenance people.. Overall it was very nice experience.

Very happy with their quality of work and efficient crew. This is a quality organization with top notch customer service.

Everything are awesome, my wife and me are very satisfied with the interior design style. I like the new equipment such as the inductive faucet switch, delay light off switch, automatic control of garages with cameras, etc,. Thank you for your professional working. One thing may need improvement The water in the swimming pool is a bit dirty, there are often flies or bugs dead body floating on the water. It would be better if you could clean up in time. Very happy with the entire experience. Tarry in Sales helped us find the perfect lot and Debbie in the Design Center helped us select finishes that we love even more now that we have moved in. Our construction manager Ryan was awesome to work with from start to finish and kept us updated on progress weekly. Richard has been very helpful with our minor issues after moving in. We absolutely love our new house and our new neighbors. Its a great community to be a part of.

Mike was great to work with and very responsive thru out the entire Sales process. .Debbie in the Design Center was also the same and our only complaint was that the price of upgrades seemed very high and their lack of flexibility in making simple changes ie deleting a medicine cabinet before the house was even framed. The superintendent, Ryan was fantastic and extremely proud of the work that he and the crew did! Lastly Richard in customer service could not be nicer and extremely responsive and professional. A very good team!!
