Its been a great experience. Having the walk thru was great and everything was thoroughly explained.

The responsiveness from the team that we dealt with Lisa/Debbie/Armando/Mark has been excellent. Shea has a very well thought out sales and construction process and it’s by far the best we have experienced. We are now in the warranty process and dealing with Mark on getting a few minor items addressed. Hope that process goes as well as our experience so far with the sales process

We love our new home, but defenitley were surprised at the items we needed to do when moving in. When designing your home, be aware of upgrades that don't include basic items like towel bars in the bathroom, tile & granite not sealed by builder. We expect some items needing attention, but did not expect to have to do projects the week we arrived.

Shea did a great job of overpromising and under delivering. I’ve asked for 10 to 15 items to be fixed. A couple have been and haven’t heard from anybody in three weeks. Pretty pathetic.

Recently I took delivery of a new home build by Shea. The design fit my needs and the home is nicely laid out. After some annoying delays with the city power, I tool delivery in the fall of 2022. On the whole the home turned out well, but there were areas of quality control that got missed or were ignored. I encountered some poor stain work and finishing on the cabinets, damage to appliances, interior and exterior paint and finishing issues and some electrical issues. The repair service is coming along and some items, I feel, will be pushed to the side. 90% of everything in our new home went well. The tile and closets subs should have done a better job.

I am going to begin with the positives. I am very pleased with the results of our home. I was very pleased with the responsiveness of the construction manager, Ryan. Ryan was also dedicated; however I feel the crew’s were spread too thin with over 30 new builds going at the same time. This resulted in multiple details being overlooked. Our punch list at the time of our walkthrough prior to closing was extensive with more than a dozen items. The most serious items were three separate previously undetected gas leaks. The connection to the swimming pool heater was not connected properly. There was leaking gas from the cooktop burners even when they were turned off. There was also later found a gas leak from the fireplace where a flexible pipe was mistakenly used instead of hardline pipe. The flexible pipe eroded where it was bent. This one was discovered 2 days after we moved in and could have been deadly. I give kudos to Ryan for staying with us at the house for six hours while the problem was repaired and the gas company could return to turn the gas back on and retest for further leaks. It has been over 2 months since we had our closing and we still have 4 unrepaired items from the punch list. These include a cracked window, an area of drywall in garage, garbage disposal dysfunction and an area of grouting. This seems excessive in its delay. I am very disappointed with the landscaping bushes. Other older areas of Shea homes in our development have much more extensive and colorful bushes. Lastly, it is my opinion that Shea’s policy of not providing visual documentation of the building process is outrageous. This is the fourth home I have built with different builders and this is the first time I’ve not been allowed to visualize the progress. I adamantly oppose this policy. ... More

Tarry our Sales Rep was fantastic! Excellent follow thru skills and knowledge. I am a realtor and know what makes a great sales person and Tarry definitely has the "it" factor. She is trustworthy and provides great customer satisfaction. I also want to mention that our Warranty Specialist Richard is outstanding! His work ethic and follow thru is impeccable. Richard is extremely helpful and ALWAYS willing to lend a helping hand. I can't say enough good things about Richard. These 2 individuals represent Shea Homes in the highest possible light. This is our third house build (our first Shea build) and our best experience to date. We've built in Austin, TX, Huntington Beach, CA and now here, in the desert. We are used to working with builders and dealing with unexpected delays, materials that are out of stock, water/power not ready to be set up yet and various other challenging situations. The way that the entire Shea team dealt with us during these unexpected and unwanted moments is what stands out the most compared to other builds. Your entire team’s professionalism, personal touch, willingness to listen to us and hear us vent. and going out of their way to try to correct problems that were sometimes out of both of our controls, made this experience the best. A special call out to the following individuals that stood out and went above and beyond during this process – Lisa our sales associate who from our first visit spent the time to get to know us, learned what we liked, didn’t like, and guided us in the direction that she knew would make us happy as we built our next home. Even after the sales process and when we had already moved into our new home, she included us in a mixer at the club so that we could meet new neighbors. It was a nice gesture, very much appreciated and yes, she knows us! Ryan our builder who under promised and completely over delivered. He came through each time we had a concern about something, regardless of how small, and made sure we got the home we spec’d out. Richard our warranty guy who spent hours going through the details of the home and answering our smallest questions making sure we were going to be ready when he handed over the keys. Debbie our design specialist who helped us duplicate and mirror your model home and helped us pick the materials that make our home standout. A callout to the cabinet guy that came and fixed our kitchen cabinet that I accidently scratched during our move-in day. He came out of nowhere after Richard called him and fixed my mistake. I wish I remembered his name. We will absolutely recommend a Shea home to our family, friends and whoever wants to listen. ... More

Purchase experience was great with wonderful sales staff. Final inspection revealed the tiniest items needing adjustments and they were fixed immediately. Turn-over at possession was a great experience and all our needs had been anticipated. Orientation on the home’s many features was thorough. After-sale care has been proactive and very responsive and we have received several phone calls to ask how things are and if we need anything. We are very pleased with our home and love the community.

This is my second home I’ve bought from Shea. Overall good experience each time. I trust that all my minor issues will be resolved in a timely and professional manner.

The entire process was ok ….If you buy a lot to be build on it make sure that everything is transparently disclose if outlets and other utilities boxes are posted on your front yard …so no surprises at the end ! No to pleased with interior decorator support ! However After Closing the assistance and attention to details received from the house delivery representative Richard is been Outstanding!!!!

This is the third new-build home we have purchased in seven years - with the Trilogy at the Polo Club easily being the best experience. We had every opportunity to walk the property during the build. The walk through prior to closing uncovered only minor cosmetic issues, maybe 3 or 4, to repair. All of these were resolved in three days in time for closing. The quality, attention to detail and consistency of the construction is fantastic. The experience from sales representative to closing and after has been awesome!

We have purchased four brand new properties over 40 years and Shea is by far the best ever. Premium construction, thorough oversight and excellent communication made the experience. Even my father in law, an architect, told us mnat years ago that Shea was the best home builder in SoCal and he was rigth

Customer Service Rep was very responsive to schedule. However, arranging sub-contractors for corrections was not timely. Memberships orientation at our club was impossible to schedule. Under staffing issues lack the ability to work better hours to service new members.

Working with the folks at Shea Homes has been a great experience. They are kind, patient, and very knowledgeable and helpful. The quality of the home is evident and the service provided in all phases of building through the first year is amazing.

We are so pleased with every step of the way in our buying experience.

Other than having to complete too many surveys on my experience, everything was fine.

The overall Shay home experience has been exceptionally from start to finish the process was seamless and after purchase the introduction to our home and some of his features was a wonderful experience

Quality is great, and I wouldn’t change a thing

The picking out of the options was difficult and not very flexible. Home structure is sound and Shea delivered our project pretty much on time even with the shortages the building industry is having at this time.

Overall a great experience, great quality and great service.
