This Shea process is very well orchestrated but a few years behind in human needs and construction techniques and interior design and lighting opportunities. Most mechanical aspects are good but instant hot water is too far away from the delivery points and runs wasted water. Water lines in attic causing hot water rather than cold in hot weather. In interior design very little flexibility in choices and options along with vendors and time with designer. No options for lighting and wall plug locations. Landscape palette is not appropriate in many areas of varieties not regionally real in the setting. Sales not clear on interior color options and fron/side street frontage and rear yard setbacks for pools and equipment and landscape. Policy on two trees per rear yard is not enforced. Astroturfing or other fake grass should be outlawed as to heat gain and burning feet. Trash enclosure should be mandatory and areas between homes have tree requirements assisting in reflecting heat and producing shade and oxygen. It was a terrible home-buying experience in every way, from beginning to end and even beyond. More than 2 months after closing, items that needed correcting and were brought up during our final walk-through have still not been corrected.

The quality of the experience was noteworthy. All of the staff was very personable and each staff member seemed to personally care about the buyer and their needs. The quality of the home seems very good and the attention to detail is excellent.

Again the staff in all areas were very personable and helpful. They treat you like extended family. They answer all your questions promptly. They guide you through the process very efficiently and easily. Great overall experience.

Would have like to see better quality windows. The closing experience was not good at all. Overall happy though.

Our brand new fridge did not work, four rooms of our home only had primer on walls and was not painted until two months after we moved in. We had to move all furniture and walk hangings again. Many other issues. Very unhappy with how all of this was taken care of.

Shea has done an admirable job navigating the current supply chain problems plaguing most industries.

a very pleasant experience overall. Only place I felt ball was dropped was the requirements of new owner after close of escrow. Especially, those requirements that have a financial and time demand associated.

Do not use Shea Mortgage. We dealt with many mess ups and rudeness like they were doing us a favor. No customer service. And no continuity or communication between the sales team, closing team, finance team, customer representative teams. You need to be the project manager for all of them which is surprising given the size of the company.
