I would prefer the fit and finish warranty have more home owner input and intervals than 1 month, 5 months and 1 year.

Prior to purchasing a new home from Shea Homes, we had high hopes that Shea Homes was a reputable home builder. However, after closing escrow and moving into the newly constructed home, we discovered many issues, some of them were construction defects. We are sadly disappointed.

This has been one of the best buying experiences I have ever had. This is my fourth purchase of a home (first time buying new). From the beginning with the salespeople to currently working with the warranty folks, the level of customer service has been incredible, and everything has gone as promised. I am extremely happy with the quality of my home and community. Definite shout out to Elizabeth for her top-notch support, communication & professionalism during the sales process. Shea's attention to detail is unmatched, which leads me to their warranty team. Paris and Rudy could not be more accommodating. Their level of customer service is the reason I would never hesitate to buy another home from Shea. They want everything perfect and they have delivered on it from the start. I have had 3 water leaks in my apartment before I even moved in. I had work going on in my apartment for the first 30 days after I received the keys and was not compensated for anything. Very poor management. Would not recommend them again.

Despite a nearly 4 year long process to move up on the "list" with a less-than-transparent home buying experience, I was finally fortunate enough to be "picked" to purchase a home. I purchased in 9/2024 and closed in 7/2025, which is the exact amount of time that Shea projected. Once in, the home is beautiful and exceeds my expectations which is quite hard to do! It looks alot bigger inside with the walls up rather than framed. There were several issues that I found (despite 4 or 5 sign-offs by Shea and the City) like the ducts not working with the thermostat and an overhead light being placed in the wrong place that Shea eventually fixed. There were also lots of paint touchups needed, a few plumbing/sink/shower issues, refrigerator issues, scratched floor boards that needed to be replaced, and other items that required Shea to fix. While they were all eventually fixed, it was a very painful process to work with the warranty employee and way too stressful. Now that the fixes are almost all complete, I can finally exhale and enjoy the house without workmen. The actual neighborhood is incredible - everyone is so happy to have gotten the opportunity to purchase a home that they are so friendly and happy to be here. Putting my prior 4.5 year journey aside, I am so happy to have purchased a Shea Home and it's gorgeous. I am 100% happy that I didn't settle for another house in the area and waited for this home. Overall, the purchase of our condo at Fox Point Farms has been great. Customer Service has been excellent! Victor is great! He responds right away, and repairs are addressed efficiently in good quality.

Great experience with shea homes. Their sales team and warranty is unbeatable, we got the exterior and lot that we preferred. The only issue that we found out is the noise isolation is not properly took care of. Same washer and dryer, but the noise is soooo loud! I feel the entire house can here, but I feel the distances and location almost the same in my previous house, I did not hear that much, that's why I deduct the two points from the quality of workmanship and materials.

Shea Homes sales representatives are exceptional. They are professional and efficient. My emails and text messages are always responded within minutes. Their customer service team is super helpful as well. It ensured a smooth and pleasant purchase and move-in process. The quality and technology included in my new home are advanced. Shea Homes also provided complimentary white glove services to setup each systems. I believe this new property has great potential in value.

I waited to respond as it’s been a rocky start. I like my unit even with issues from start. I’m still waiting for them to fix Feel focus here is on the visitors and not those of us who live here. Needs increase in infrastructure stop signs at restaurant and I’m not sure what do you can’t have outsiders roaming around all night long after cafe etc locked and gated. It’s very noisy rarely quiet, too many events which at times make hard to leave or get in. Feel we as owners pay for others to have the experience with no thought how impacts those living here. Alex and Josephine were absolutely amazing! They were both so patient and really listened to what our family needs were in our new home purchase. We have three kids and one with special needs to the attention to detail was everything!

Loved working with Josephine and Alex in the sales office. Same with Angel with the construction team. And Gabriel on the Home Warranty team. Everyone has been great. Friendly, honest and empower the homeowner with information and knowledge. This is my third home purchase and definitely the best experience 100%. Would highly recommend Shea Homes to anybody looking for a home.

Shea Homes do not follow the best practices and quality maintenance in the house construction, they depend on the third party contractors poor work to deliver the houses for high prices. Also, customer need to travel very painful process in resolving warranty issues and they take very long time to address them. I do not recommend Shea Homes to anyone.
