Shea homes builders are not friendly in nature. completely they are thinking as business gain, no customer favor. some are not standard but they are always telling it meet shea standard. Even customer paid for options, not reaching up to standards. No honesty at all. No proper response from shea homes builder and no choice to talk from customer perspective and no response from shea homes builder. Quality wise its not good as per what customer paid. Need to improve a lot in all sectors.

The home buying process was very smooth

The building process, design center and warranty processes have all been great. The house design is perfect and the building products are high quality.

My wife and I settled on Shea homes after vetting all available new builders in Littleton. Their house designs are simple, stylish and very well laid out. Sandwiched between state parks and chatfield lake, the location of solstice neighborhood is one of a kind. Their personnel from sales team and construction managers were all very welcoming and responsive throughout the process. We can say enough good things about our experience with Shea.

We were very pleased with every step of the building process. The contract managers at our location were particularly great, making sure we were happy with the final outcome!

Shea had a great selection of what we were looking for in a new home. Also, several modern features were standard which was nice. House is beautiful inside and out. With the small issues that have popped up the warranty team has responded quickly to find solutions

Our Shea home in the Canyons has not been good. First, the salesperson Abbe who sold us the house told us that if we acted quickly we'd get a $50k credit. She didn't explain that $30k of that would only apply if we used Shea Mortgages. Now she's gone to fleece some other people at a different homebuilder. The craftmanship of the house is less than ideal. Our lights keep flickering, appliances don't work correctly, and many of the materials and craftsmanship that they used were less than standard in what I would assume is an effort to maximize their profit. From start to closing and even beyond the experience with Shea has been excellent. We are pleased with the quality of the home and the workmanship.

we’ve had a great experience with Shea and their team. We love our house and they’ve been extra responsive if we’ve had a problem. We bought an inventory home that just fell through, so it was a very fast process. Very happy so far.

From lot selection to taking possession our experience has been wonderful. We had a couple of hiccups but the accountability and dedication of the staff reinforced the excellence of Shea. Ryan and Brandon inspired confidence and showcased the diligent craft and trades for Shea homes. Jill has been wonderful and very responsive as we have recently completed our 1 month check in. We are very pleased.

The Shea team from start to finish was patient, polite, professional, and helpful. The sales people that we worked with helped answer a lot of questions until we felt comfortable making the decision to move forward. The design team helped us with decisions, they offered alternatives at our request and was our third-party check to make sure we were making cohesive design decisions. After shopping around, we opted to use Shea Mortgage as our lender. They made sure that we were always informed and had all the important information before and after making decisions. We love Shea Homes as a builder. This is our 2nd Shea Home and we highly recommend them. The quality of the home is exceptional. All of the folks we worked with were wonderful and our beautiful home was delivered in the time frame promised. We have an incredible home. When building a home you're always going to run into small issues. The sales team committed to a few things that didn't end up happening. And the initial site plan was WAY off and without pouring $50k into our backyard it is completely useless. Our house should have been a garden level or walk out. Instead we got a huge retaining wall and two very dangerous "to code" drop offs from our back patio. Also, the survey listed this community as Parker... Our address is Lone Tree and the developer messed our address up on multiple occasions which creates a laundry list of issues. Great planned community to support the type of lifestyle we live in Colorado for with all the planned trails and access points to the mountains, as well as Chatfield! There is something for everyone at every age level. My little fur babies love the community! Oh, yes, the house is awesome and has the best layout a chef could want. There is elbow room on all floors.

We have experience with Shea and know they are a quality builder, that is why we came here. We're had some minor issues, that are being taken care of. Like the window sills paint comes off easily when the shades are left down, then you pull them up, and all the paint comes off, laving you with bare wood showing. That shows the wood isn't absorbing the paint, so it wasn't primed or something else. Also, the lack of privacy for the homes being so tightly packed, we knew about but once you live it, its quite annoying, even though we have nice neighbors. I can actually here their knives and forks on their plates when they eat dinner, and their conversation while they sit at their table. That is a factor of it being so quite out here. I lived in high rise condo's with balconies near each other and noise kept it more private. But the builder experience, and support staff has been excellent. My experience with Shea Homes has been positive on every level. I am loving my new home and would buy from Shea again.

I looked at new homes of several builders in the area. Overall I found the quality and amenities of the Shea Homes to be superior to similar priced homes of other builders. I found the sales process to be easy and totally enjoyed working with Kelly. I’ve have great service in response to minimal little warranty items. All in all, a great experience.

My wife and I built 2 custom homes previously and we can say with certainty that building a spec home with Shea Homes was a much better experience. Everyone from the salespeople to the building supervisor were very courteous and professional and very helpful and produced a quality product. I would not hesitate to build with Shea Homes again.

Shea builds a great home with attention to detail throughout and friendly, helpful employees helping every step of the way. The punch list post-sale was small and quickly attended to. We could not be happier.

Beware of what you're told is included in the Elite packages and what items are NOT included in them.

Way too many problems with the home. Poor workmanship overall.

Overall was good experience. Sales team was responsive and helpful. Wish they had more options on some things like insulation between floors to reduce noise, option for high end appliances like Wolf, laminate on stairs to garage, frosted windows, and more. Had few minor issues when moving in, but most were addressed quickly. One thing was a pain and that was an issue with the front door lock. Shea said I had to work with vendor to get a replacement lock which was time consuming. I would have expected them to resolve it with the vendor.
