When it came time to select our model and features, Harmony staff were exceptionally helpful. On request, they found examples of other homes with same model and similar features, took pictures, and sent us the photos in real time, which greatly aided us in making our selections.

I've bought a number of new homes in my life and this experience has to be one of the best. The quality of the home is supurb but what really stood out was the responsivenes and follow-up. Shea representatives are easy to get hold of and seem to truly care about their customers. I highly, highly recommend.

Great with build, slow with repairs

Shea does a really great job with their new builds. We were surprised how close they stuck to the original schedule despite all of the shortages and supply chain issues. After moving in there were a few issues that have taken a long time to resolve. Our water heater was supposed to have a recirculation pump, for example. 2 months in and the recirculation pump still isn't functioning after multiple visits from plumbers and the customer care team. Overall we're happy despite the minor issues.

Shea needs work to be exceptional

Shea is already above the rest of the builders in Colorado. However, they are not fulling living up to their perceived reputation. Communication, communication, communication is big in the world between customers and the business. It is just as important internally in a business. Shea has a lot of work to do with communication. Lastly, I would say Shea could do a regular audit of their employees’ job performances. Of the handful of employees I interacted with, there were a couple that had competency issues with job duties. Aside from the previous faults, I do like my house and quality within.

The whole process with Shea Homes has been great! Moving in went very smooth and the whole team has been awesome. The couple of items that didn’t get completed prior to move in have been difficult to get scheduled and had a minor miscommunication but outside of that Shea builds an amazing product. Amy and team definitely created an experience like no one else and we highly recommend purchasing a new home with Shea!

Shea Homes is a fantastic builder and creates high quality homes. The contracted workers who assist with the builds are not always the most mindful of their work, but Shea’s team is quick to make sure mistakes are addressed and fixed immediately. I do recommend hiring your own inspector (with any new build) to help find any errors.

Amazing sales Process, but very poor warranty process

We worked with Shea in the Littleton area for a new home build, and the purchase, design, and build were amazing!! The sales team was great in answering questions, providing info, and generally making the whole process feel smooth, but after they delivered the house we got to see the other side of Shea, and it has left us with buyer's remorse. The warranty team does not seem to know what is going on, and love to hide behind "supply chain" and "Covid Delays" we have been waiting 3 months for the kitchen appliances which have still not been installed. Between windows that don't work, ...

Overall the experience was good. Definitely frustrating that they raised prices as much as they have. Priced us out of upgrades we would have wanted. The sales and building process was fairly straightforward, but definitely took longer than they thought it would.

We had a great experience with Shea from start to finish! The whole sales office was great, especially Mac. He was very responsive when we had a snag with the design center. That issue was promptly addressed and our minds were quickly put to ease. Our realtor even said Shea was the best new build company he has ever encountered! That really reaffirmed our trust in Shea. We are in love with our new dream home!!

Most of our house is great. The quality of most of what we have is awesome. But the details do matter and it does feel like we have some issues that Shea just isn't able to resolve -- Starting with the fact that our carpet is ruined after less than 2 months because it's impossible to clean, it pills constantly. And when it pills, it runs and loses its pattern for inches that are very noticeable. Our appliances don't match - for some inexplicable reason. And despite every attempt to get our "smart house" to connect our outlets to the app provided, we still have issues with these light ...

Our experience may be unique, but we did not have a good experience with Shea throughout the buying and build process. It all depends on who you work with in the sales office, the project managers, and how they address issues that arise. Unfortunate given our situation could have been handled very differently with a better outcome.

The majority of the experience has been awesome. Many of the personnel with whom we have interacted have been outstanding. Mac, Dave, Erin, Mitch, and Suzanne. - Top notch- - Many small items create big headache. Overall great experience, but Shea drops the ball on several aspects which reflect a lack of vision and consideration for residents - 2 HOA organizations to pay every month - system is subpar and cannot handle bandwidth. Must login to the same system using two different account numbers to pay HOA dues. No auto-pay options. Never heard of this. Why 2 logins? I live in 1 neighborhood. ...
