Shea's sales, project management, and warranty team were great. Trade work wasn't what I am use to for a Shea product.

Shea has been great to work with.

Overall the home is solid. Sales office was professional and responsive to questions during the purchase and prior to closing. However, the inability to make simple electrical or plumbing change to the interior "cookie cutter" electrical and plumbing design was frustrating! Very surprised at some of the pre-determined choices. It's the "details". Why puts a shingle roofs on an a $700k home in hail country? (We Understand costs...) Why put decor electrical switches throughout the home, but "old style" (round) plugs? They don't match. Upgraded to a tankless water heater, but "recirculation" plumbing upgrade was not offered as an upgrade to accompany to tankless heater. Very poor "stewardship" of completed trades' work by follow-on tradesmen. (Examples available). Lots of patching and fixing prior to move-in. For example, the upgraded stair railing looks Great, now; but the patches required to fix all the dents and scratches can be felt as one runs their hand along the railing. Excellent, excellent warranty follow-up by Shea's representative. "Above and beyond!" Again, overall a "solid" home which we hope to enjoy for many years to come. Has been a fantastic experience with every part of Shea we have worked with.

I love my new home, and working with the Shea team was a great experience! They kept me informed during the building process while keeping on schedule with the date of completion. Any questions or issues have been promptly resolved, great experience!

The buying process was mostly good but at times we found it difficult to collaborate on issues or concerns and are still dealing with a couple of items. We're also very disappointed with the dual metro district situation and that added lifetime cost of ownership.

Easy to work with and enjoyable staff throughout the process.

The bill took a really long time. Some areas of workmanship are real poor. Response to issues is poor.

Everything but Shea Mortgage was great! The loan officer was difficult with a super easy loan. I had to correct him on how he calculated my debt to income ratio. Unfortunately, I realized he made other mistakes after we purchased our home. This mistake resulted in a higher interest rate which is very upsetting. The loan officer made purchasing this home a bad experience. I do not recommend Shea Mortgage. Otherwise, Shea builds a high quality home and customer service from Shea as a builder is outstanding.

Our journey was great! The thing that stood out to me most was the attentiveness to our needs. Everything has been handled so professionally and in a timely manner. The follow ups and eagerness to address issues is head and shoulders above our other experiences with other builders. We would only ever buy a Shea home again if we were to move from our new dream home!

There were several miscommunications with the Shea sales. It ultimately was resolved but it was a hassle That I had to fight and argue each time, Something that no one should go through during the purchase of a new own. So stressful. The quality control is not up to the level that I would expect. There were several things that needed to be replaced and fixed upon moving in. It’s like they are just slapping these homes together so fast and the quality is lacking.

We had a great experience building our first home through Shea communities. Everyone we have worked with has been helpful and pleasant. They have also been great about fixing any issues that have come up since moving in and are responsive if we have any questions. We are very excited to be a part of the new Solstice community and can’t wait to see it finished!

Love the design and the location of the development so close to Chatfield is awesome

Communication from the Sales Department has been exceptional. Understanding that we purchased our home at the onset of the COVID Pandemic, there have been some challenges; communication from trades & completion of punchlists have been the largest hurdle. All in all, we love our home and have enjoyed the process.

This was our first experience dealing with a large builder and we were pleasantly surprised. They were very responsive to our questions and concerns and they got the home done on time - even in the middle of a pandemic.

Very impressed with my home. I love the floorplan and location so much. We've had some issues after closing and the warranty process has been great. All the different trades who have come to my home have been punctual, prompt, and professional. I'm extremely happy.

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Had good experience with sales staff. Construction is really good quality. Stuck to timelines and kept me informed. Everyone was available for questions and answered them timely.

So far, so good...Glenn is great to work with regarding repairs as he is very responsive and communicates well. We have only been in two months but very pleased so far.

My heater went out and this was not considered urgent. It was only 60 in the house. My mom is 75 and can’t do stairs so she was freezing. But nope not even a call back. Ridiculous.
