Workmen have not shown up when they were scheduled to. Closed 12/31/21. I am still waiting for mirrors and shower doors on my master shower. It has been 9 weeks. Smart home visit was just completed yesterday. There appears to be a disconnect between contractors.

Buildind and Buying with Shae (considering Covid-19) was a clean, straightforward process. Our Field Mananager was a Star and our Mortgage agent was there to help us every step of the way! We did have issues with some products and timings (due to supply chain issues), but these issues were delt with as quickly as possible. All in all, a good experience.

We were lucky to have a very good, professional, quick responding general contractor. He seemed to be on top of situations all during the building process and again in the first year after closing.

We are very happy with our home in Trilogy!

Only in the property 2 months and we have no complaints. All stated schedules were met and the staff is excellent.

Get your own Home loan. The build team will sell it in less than 30 days and you may end up with some you you never heard of and not even like doing bussines with them for the next year. When they sold my loan in less than 15 dyas . I just dont like a company that i never heard of and is in 10 states over from here. no office all on the web.

Once coverings started, so did poor workmanship. Holes in the sheathing, misaligned and damaged dry wall, poorly aligned trim. A lot of hacking, followed by hiding with plaster and RTV. Materials were above average, hence the rating of 3.

Shea homes was wonderful at keeping lines of communication open & responded quickly to all my questions and concerns. Also noteworthy was how everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. They build high quality and beautiful homes - I am so happy with my decision!

I’m so impressed with the Trilogy team that I have dealt with since October 2020! Many many thanks to Courtney, Sonny, Katie and Melissa, and Larry from Shea Mortgage. I hope I’m not leaving anyone out. I found this team to be professional, courteous and very helpful, especially with the modifications needed during the pandemic. I was living on the West coast and had to complete all my design choices virtually. Courtney answered a ‘thousand’ questions from me and acquired additional pictures of the samples to help me make these decisions without being at the design center. When I walked into my new home in August and saw everything for the first time, I was thrilled with how well everything turned out! This review would not be complete without extending my immense gratitude to Sonny – the field manager who oversaw the building of my new home – and continues to provide support. No matter how busy Sonny is, he displays a never-ending smile, willingly listens, answers questions, and shares his expertise and knowledge. His outstanding customer service did not go unnoticed; he always does what he says he’s going to do and follows up if there are delays or changes. I am truly appreciative of Sonny’s genuine dedication and concern to make this entire process as smooth as possible and minimize any undue postponements or glitches. His attention to detail is unmatched. Sonny, you have a winner’s attitude, and I appreciate the fact that you take your customers seriously and have the patience to teach an inexperienced single-family homeowner some of the unfamiliar tasks, such as the irrigation system and the workings of GFCI when my clothes dryer lost power. Poor communication-in the whole process.

many problems. we had 5 holes under kitchen counters took 3 mo to get it resolved we paid for shower and enclosur in guest bath put in twoo diff metals and couldnt open enclosure due to toilet put in 5 inches from wall. we paid to fix it all. we still have big rolls of cable 15 ft behind out propery told they. have been there for over a year and k fisher wont even make a csll to utility co to have them moved. many. many. problems. i would never buy another shea home

Sonja in Sales and Karina in field operations were fabulous every step of the way. Landscaping company was non-responsive throughout the process and product quality was lacking. Quantum for the high voltage and audio visual was very good from a sales perspective. The operations side is lacking. I’ve been here two months and still not completely operational.

Shea builders do an incredible job from start to finish. They made the process of building my home seamless. I was fully informed at the onset and was set up with an app to stay in constant communication with the Field Manager, who responded quickly to all concerns. I highly recommend Shea builders to build your dream home. You won’t be disappointed.

Overall, we are happy living here! We are enjoying the house as well as meeting so many new friends. This is the 4th home we have built and we understand the process. We asked questions in advance and accepted that this home wasn’t 100% a custom home since we needed to stay within the Shea home plan. Again, we have confidence with Sonja & Sonny and they made themselves available to talk to us when issues arise. We had issues with the design team where incorrect kitchen cabinets, doors, ceiling molding and bathroom counter were installed per our contract. We lost confidence with the design team’s lack of responsibility and this includes their manager on site who never followed up after meetings with us. I liked being able to pick a certain package however I didn't like that I could not make a change. For instance I ordered blinds but did not want them on the small window & could not have them not put those up. The reason I took off the stars was because when I moved in my outside water did not work because of a kink in the line & they had to cut a hole in my wall. Then the breaker switch on my tv kept going off making me think I had a tv problem. No the electric lines in the switch plate were touching. In both cases Shea did react quickly to resolve the issues but both were very stressful for me. ... More

I think the project manager made sure we were happy with our home and on the whole, it was very good quality. However, some of the items we picked out were not what was installed. We picked out different doors than what were installed, that was a disappointment.

Overall we were very satisfied, the experience was better than expected.

They care about the build and entire process

House was delivered on time as stated several months prior. We were sent pictures and updates of the progress. Had virtual meetings with design teams and two on-site walkthroughs, as we lived hundreds of miles away at the time. There were a couple of issues when we moved in, but Shea took care of them right away. We love our new home and the location.

Overall excellent experience. Our site manager (Billy) was outstanding in communication and keeping us informed on progress. Very pleased with workmanship. Our only complaints related to the planning process with regard to finishes. We would have preferred more customization capability, rather than being limited to “packages” of upgrades. And dealing with the various “designers”, who at the end of the day were really little more than administrative staff, was extremely cumbersome and at times frustrating. And indeed, at the end of the day there were a good number of upgrades that we ordered which never made it to the building team’s specifications, causing a lot of extra work on our part doing these separately after closing. But all in all we would still call it a positive experience and Shea generally appears to be a very well organized and honest company providing a high quality product and experience. ... More

The quality. Also, standard items such as 5” baseboards and other builders has that as an upgrade. The Twin Mills Club was the real sell for us as it is a place we will use a lot. From the pools, amphitheater, restaurant, demonstration kitchen, etc. love love love it. And the Freedom Boat Club is the icing on the cake.
