The move-in was the best we've had (moved into three new homes prior to this one). Attention to detail was excellent. Once we moved in, there were some issues with the A/C, the hood cover over the stove, and the Wi-Fi. However, items like that are to be expected to some extent with a new build, and they were fixed quickly and well.

Jaime was very healthy in sales office and Brooke was outstanding seeing things that needed corrected at the one month repair period.

It's a beautiful community, very organized and with state-of-the-art construction.

Overall experience with the staff was great! Support after close of escrow has been great as well. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend buying from Shea Homes.

We love Shea Homes as a builder. This is our 2nd Shea Home and we highly recommend them. The quality of the home is exceptional. All of the folks we worked with were wonderful and our beautiful home was delivered in the time frame promised. We really appreciate how professional and friendly all of the staff were and this made the whole process enjoyable. We are loving our new home!

The overall buying experience with SHEA was good, and the personel were very accommodating. However the quality of materials and workmanship need much improvement. Materials are appearing to be very cheap quality, and rushed installation, leaving gaps and crooked seams of many features. Dripping sounds of hot water lines, that I'm told are normal, should not be normal.

Randy was very detailed and thorough when walking us through the property and always displayed patience with our many questions. He shared some great tips for new homeowners on caring for our new home.

Great place to spend the quieter stage of life

we were told all the extras were included in the price because of the home was already built. Come to find out nothing was included.. Everything wasn’t add-on. Very frustrated that they showed up with a TV mount saying it was no charge/free. It was part of the house. We didn’t even want or use the TV mount and later looked at our paperwork seeing they charged us $450 for a TV mount we didn’t even want or use. They would not credit me nor would they throw something in that value like a lousy outlet that should’ve been there to begin with. frustrating to say the least

Beautiful community, beautiful homes, friendly people. Construction workers are messy. They leave trash everywhere, and it gets everywhere. Reporting it does not help, nor change anything.

Sales was extraordinary making it possible to relocate from VA. Would have been impossible without Margie’s help. Mortgage lending was extremely supportive and innovative. Found a very creative mortgage that was ideal for us! Field mgr was awesome. Jason was a 12 on a 1-10 scale. I’ve built 6 new homes, Jason was by far the best. TLB landscaping is outstanding! Both price and quality exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend to our neighbors!! Very happy with workmanship. Attention to details immaculate. Design outstanding. It is an happy buying progress！

I give the Homebuying experience 4 stars. The only drawback I experienced with the Shea company was that they do not go "out of the box". When you make a request, it was 100% denied. Boundaries were set, and they do not budged, and stayed within the lines. Sometimes, you need to give a little leeway...which would have made the experience a bit more personal, understanding, and not just another transaction with the seller. Other than that, I enjoyed working with your outstanding employees, particularly April, Trisha, Alicia, Frankie, Ryan, and Todd. Thank you.

From start to finish, working with the Shea Homes team exceeded expectations. Friendly and professional, knowledgeable and efficient, thorough and accommodating...this made the experience pleasant and stress-free. We're so happy with our new home and the excellent workmanship shows through and through.

The best customer service I have ever had in my new build experiences. They are there for during the entire building process from start to finish. I love the attention to detail provided. Shea homes even has periodic check in during the first year! Who else does that? I love it here!

The home is great, however little things are not been completed right, I think that really brings Shea home over all experience with some dissatisfaction. The escrow was lack of communication( someone on vacation) no one followed up. The front door lock not working when we supposed to ( get the key) the solar was a nightmare. And the location actually does not have a statable internet, I think as a large community, shea home should connect with city and other services provider better that will help with over experience:

Everyone in the process from sales to construction to the post-construction warranty checkup has been nothing short of excellent. As a business owner I know that’s quite a feat for any company. Wow! I highly recommend Shea to everyone.

The quality and workmanship is outstanding. my only complaint is the cabinets. The kitchen cabinets aren't deep enough to the wall., not what we'er used to. the bathroom cabinets aren't deep enough to the wall and the bath cabinet drawers aren't deep enough vertically. I could stand my Gillette foamy can upright in the drawer at her former house I can't here I have to lay it down. I tried to install a metal rack in the cabinet to solve that problem but the rack wouldn't fit. It was too long by about an inch and a half so I'll be returning the rack to the store. We really liked that Shea had the different stage reviews, in the building process. Especially showing us the walls before closing with sheet rock. This helped in making decision's of where to place things on the walls. It would have been nice, if during the building process, we could have added solar and or if that had been an option. Especially here in Arizona. Otherwise, everything was great. And the superintendent Alexis was GREAT to work with.

I was a first time homebuyer and the experience was extremely smooth and stress free. Really loved the home and felt it was exactly what I was looking for. Good communication and handholding since I had a lot of very basic questions and they were able to handle it with great professionalism and gave plenty of time. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase.

The closing process was difficult due to items not in place that Shea should have known about and senior executives did not respond to emails. The options selections process was also complicated as the team really didn't know about some options and that knowledge would have changed some of the items I selected (the Design Joy catalog was not accurate). That said, now that I'm in, I love the house. Quality is quite good and the construction foreman (Andrew) was great. The delivery team (headed by Vicki) is awesome and she is the most responsive person I have met.

We have an incredible home. When building a home you're always going to run into small issues. The sales team committed to a few things that didn't end up happening. And the initial site plan was WAY off and without pouring $50k into our backyard it is completely useless. Our house should have been a garden level or walk out. Instead we got a huge retaining wall and two very dangerous "to code" drop offs from our back patio. Also, the survey listed this community as Parker... Our address is Lone Tree and the developer messed our address up on multiple occasions which creates a laundry list of issues. First off, my mother passed away in January and yet this is still addressed in her name. Shea needs to check their records before they start sending out communications asking for opinions. The process to buy the home was unclear in regards to how interior design choices cost extra. During the process I felt that this was hidden and is unethical. Working with the sales team was stressful and information wasn't shared transparently as one would expect. There was definitely a delay in closing on the home due to Shea wanting to hit a number this calendar year because the house was ready by October/November which caused significant issues on our end for planning.
