Being a first time home buyer I didn’t know what to expect, there are so many steps and things needed it can be overwhelming at times. Shea Holmes and my Relator guided me through the whole process. Building the home was supper fast! Started the process in October moved in in March! Half the home (bones) was already built when we started in oct so it just needed to be customized. During the appointment to customize your home I would highly recommend writing down the names of the tiles and paint colors you pick out as I did not and was given the wrong kitchen backsplash. Since I signed off on the paperwork assuming i had trust that my choices were correct nothing had pictures of the tiles just names when I signed and I couldn’t change it once it was done now I’ll have to pay for it to be redone. Going through the process, from start to finish, with Shea Homes was extremely simple for us as first time homebuyers. They did a great job of keeping us updated along the way so we knew what to expect and when.

The builders are very nice and professional. They were very transparent about everything. They’ll listen to your concerns and suggestions and will do their best to incorporate it in your home. I couldn’t ask for a better quality service

Good streamline process and communication throughout the whole buying and building process

Shea makes the extra effort, whether it’s extra care in leveling walls, changing to a better AC Vendor midstream or providing upgraded door locks, thermostats and garage doors. They even bought and installed longer fan operation chains when I let them know during the walk-through that they were too short.

Solid build quality and workmanship. Quick response to issues. Super friendly reps and construction supervisors. Keep buyer informed regularly during construction phase.

The sales staff were great. Transition team were terrific. Site is well designed and home is great.

We had a great experience building our first home through Shea communities. Everyone we have worked with has been helpful and pleasant. They have also been great about fixing any issues that have come up since moving in and are responsive if we have any questions. We are very excited to be a part of the new Solstice community and can’t wait to see it finished!

Everyone I’ve encountered during the home buying process with Shea has been extremely professional. The ladies in the front office were great to work with and incredibly accommodating and responsive. There were a couple issues we noticed during our initial walk through, but everything was fixed on the final walk through. Overall, my family and I are extremely happy with our new home! The Shea group has been extremely helpful throughout the buying process. We moved from the DFW area and were not able to make it to Spring that often to see our home being built. The Shea group kept us informed throughout the building process and even sent us pictures of our home throughout the process. The craftsmanship of our home is excellent. I have lived in our new home for about 2 months and I still pick up the phone and call the Shea group anytime I have questions and they are always very helpful. I would highly recommend Shea homes to anyone.

Shea Homes is not the faster builder, but they are a quality builder that delivers in the time promised. The workmanship that went into building our home justified the amount of time it took to build. I'll take quality over speed any day.
