This is our 3rd Shea home. Great builder!

It has been great so far!

Overall the home was awesome. Some minor things to be fixed but overall responsive to fixing them in a timely manner

Overall experience is very excellent and ecerything is from Point A to Point Z, services after sales also very satisfied.

Shea's approach has been very professional. They kept us well informed throughout the process. The onsite sales staff was always very helpful and answered our questions without hesitation. Finally, they worked very hard to meet their stated project timelines and our house was completed on time as committed.

The builder was very thorough and encouraged me to report any deficiencies. He wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied with my home!

Octavio was the person who delivered the house to us. He has always checked on us from the start to make sure our transition was smooth. He took the time to get to know us personally and made sure any issues we found after move-in were resolved in a very quick manner. I even told him that he seemed to take care of our home like it was his! We are very happy with the loan process and all the tips June gave us to make sure we had the best rate when closing out. Great experience, and the home is beautiful!

When buying a Shea home you get the most bang for your buck. Shea design center pricing is better than any other home builder out there with premium products.

Our experience with buying a Shea Home was very exciting. From viewing the model homes, going to the Design Center, and watching the construction process, our family was very excited to move into our new home!

Shea homes did an amazing job, from sales, to mortgage to customer care they knocked it out of the park. The team is absolutely amazing and if there are any issues they are on top of it. My only minor downfall is there are some areas of sloppy work done (by trades). There’s missing or streaky paint areas, work left incomplete and woth building a new home don’t expect it to be as clean as if you were buying someone else’s. There is construction dust, streaky windows an dirty window seals. But that’s all minor stuff. The overall quality and care they put into the home is phenomenal. As stated the team is unmatched, and the minor issues we had are all getting taken care of by the customer care team. I would highly recommend Shea homes to everyone! ... More

Good and fast customer service

The sales team at Shea worked diligently and patiently with us as we tried to sell our home during COVID. Post the sales process, I could not be more pleased with the follow up, maintenance and willingness to fix the minor issues we have encountered. Overall, our Shea experience and home have met or exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend to future buyers.

What stands out the most about our home buying experience with Shea has been great people and fabulous, easy communication. This started with the realtor for the community, Berry Staub, who is kind and professional, always follows through, and has become a friend along the journey. Good communication continued throughout the build process as we worked with Wyatt and Kaleb - our project managers. This included emails detailing what stage of the build process we were in and also text communication from the PM's that included pictures of completed projects. They were both easy to talk to and discuss questions, concerns or just review the process with us; Issues were promptly addressed. At close, we were introduced to the warranty team who thoroughly reviewed how the warranty works, what is covered and what is not, how to register our appliances, and how to report issues, if any, All technology was also thoroughly explained by the Foresight team at a White Glove appointment. There were some unforeseen delays due to some design center choices that were discontinued, delayed, and/or arrived damaged, leading to 3 new design center choices being necessary many months into the build. As these weren't specifically Shea 'errors', yet were more related to stock and availability of items chosen, it is difficult to say that it was a Shea problem. What we would have appreciated being different: 1. An online catalogue of Design Center options that we could review prior to our one-time, 4-hour design center appointment. We were expected to quickly make ALL option choices for our home that were not considered structural (ie: cabinet color/design, flooring, handles, etc.) in this single appointment. This led to many back and forth emails with design and the process ended up taking over 6-weeks to complete the choices and to know precisely what the cost of our home would be. Having a second appointment with the designer -or- having the opportunity to review the choices before the appointment would likely have mitigated this long, drawn out process. As we were responsible to pay for the upgrades chosen at time of design center options being chosen, we expected that Shea would be purchasing these items for our home at that time. This is not the process, though. Items selected were purchased just before the build team would need to install them. 2. Some final details that needed touch-ups prior to close were not completed by our initial close date. In fact, it has been two months since we closed and one of the requested fixes is still incomplete. Although our warranty team and project manager are aware of the issue, the problem still exists. What could have/still could be done differently: follow-up with trades and customer to ensure requested work has been completed. Overall, would we buy from Shea again. Absolutely YES! Great experience. No issues. One question no one seems to know an answer too - what the heck is going into the common ground behind my home. Please respond - this is been going on for a month. No one knows. That’s ridiculous

This is my 2nd Shea Home so I knew how stellar & on target Shea is with construction & design. That was how I knew this was to be my Dream Home as Tracy/Julie are amazing guides to home ownership. Loved the email telling me status on construction stages to using My Shea Homes. Design Center helped me create the most beautiful home in look & function. Options offered were wonderful in all levels. The downfall was receiving a home not move in ready as what I signed for - anxiety levels to get internet installed as external wiring from the ext of house not complete for a full month which meant I could not get White Glove done and other things, $661 1st water bill all on me as why was the irrigation not checked b/4 as the leak had to be happening b/4 ownership transfer & I have to still work w hoping to get the water district to credit not refund my $661 spent (a day 1100 gallons to then 2200 gallons used by 1 person & a dog) and probably another huge one coming as they bill bi-monthly-why prior to my ownership was this not caught at that amount, and to have water plumbing come in hot when using cold where plumber says its the weather which it wasn't, then White Glove gave missed messages on use a temporary password vs permanent as they did not disclose the change from temp password "breaks" the connection of the Eero wifi extender and even not taking out cardboard in the oven and masking tape which I almost missed on usage. All these issues could have been avoided if the punch list did a thorough run through on function. That was all un-necessary stress, money and time expended particularly myself as the new home owner . Shea builds a spectacular home in presentation, design and construction. Well thought on details and what you offer home ownership. This one fell short on delivery as I am still right now watching out for what may come. I love my home though. ... More

We signed our contract when the house was being framed so we didn’t not get to make any selections or changes. The construction team was very responsive and stayed on schedule. The end product is beautiful and so far we have had very few warranty issues. We love our new he and the neighborhood!
