Shea builds a beautiful home with thoughtful layouts. Let me start with Kara. She was incredible to work with throughout the process. She always went above and beyond for us and helped us during the difficult emotional times of building a home. She is the gold standard for representing Shea Homes!!! Scott was out Field Manager. Beautiful area of the state with expensive, nicely designed homes. Sizes and color schemes are great. Some things in the home could have been done better. The HOA is strict and not quick to respond. Looking forward to the clubhouse being built. Glad we have a Lifestyle Manager already in place.

This was my first new construction purchase. It was a mix of experiences. My initial sales person disappeared. I learned she was gone via email and never felt that I had a single person that I could direct questions to after that. The most responsive person I dealt with was my Field Manager.

My experience with the builder could have been better. The house is okay... Because of when I purchased the home, I was not able to choose any options/ upgrades. Therefore, there are many materials use in the house I do not like. I will now have to spend a lot of money upgrading my house....

My trust was broken when I was pressured to close versus what needed to be fixed and repaired on buyin a new product. Sad that a Superintendant tells me this is a production home. When I spent $750,000 in upgrades. Not a happy buyer

This has not been a good experience. Have been in house over 3 months and still dealing with necessary repairs and there seems to be no sense of urgency. My main concern is that the wood floors have never looked good and this was a very expensive upgrade. They were evidently never cleaned properly and there’s always been kind of a cloudiness and still has some adhesive smears here and there. The Shea warranty dept has made several attempts to take care of them but hasn’t been successful. From initial visits, things changed ie: when we entered the interest list, fencing was included, then when it was time for the contracts, fences were not included. Some homes in the track get them, others do not. It is being marketed as a gated community, however there are large perimeter openings where anyone can enter.

I put my deposit on a home site with a lot premium. I attended a zoom call of purchasers of homes in the area. The call had many hostile participants. My observations from the interaction of the host with the participants asking questions was a person who was at times disingenuous, evasive mixed in with a lot of happy talk and hyping the Shea family. Questions: cost of HOA dues, communication issues, quality issues, shelving issues, timing. After this experience my instinct was to walk away. I did not. Had quite a few issues. In the cases of simple little problems where the builder can shove the repair off to their subcontractors (doesn’t cost the builder anything) they get right on it however, for the more difficult items the builder either doesn’t respond (probably hoping you’ll go away) or flat out refuses. I shudder to think of what will happen if any real warranty issues come up.

Home was delivered with a lot of visual imperfections (chips, dings, dents, etc) and things that were not fixed depsite notating them in the pre-close walk through. The superintendent called "Shorty" is incredibly rude and incompetent and less than helpful.

Our sales experience was very good. Our sales person Ted was very helpful in helping us make decisions but wasn’t pushy. The Trilogy house designs are very well laid out. Construction, however, was a disaster. 22 months to build, constant oversight of quality needed due to lack of construction supervision. Poor quality of most trades, not corrected by construction supervisor. Very slow or nonexistent response to problems noted during construction. Now the warranty people are trying to fix a bunch of items left over due to the inattention of the construction supervisor. In summary, great ...

We love our new smart home ,Coming off of acreage its a little to get used to but we will. We love the area, were close to family,Shoping is very close, So many places to venture out to see.Love the weather.The only negative is I think the HOA is a little to much, To intrusive,to restrictive,But here again well get there.All in all its great.for us at our age it was a good move.

The location is great. I felt that Shea was underquailified to deliver this type of home. There was constant delays and the workmanship was just fair. I ahve bought many higherend homes and that were delivered much better.

The design process was very easy and straight forward. We wish there were more options as far as the backyard and fencing like another Trilogy property next door has. Also having the amenities up and running faster would also be a good thing. Overall though very happy with our new home.

Overall was good experience. Sales team was responsive and helpful. Wish they had more options on some things like insulation between floors to reduce noise, option for high end appliances like Wolf, laminate on stairs to garage, frosted windows, and more. Had few minor issues when moving in, but most were addressed quickly. One thing was a pain and that was an issue with the front door lock. Shea said I had to work with vendor to get a replacement lock which was time consuming. I would have expected them to resolve it with the vendor.
