Great floor plans. Great pre and post sales. Building felt rushed. Could’ve used more quality contractors with less mistakes.

It took too long to receive the unit, if shea home had told us estimated waiting period we would’ve made better decision

Shea was very responsive at every step of the way. We are very happy with our home. In full transparency, there were a few workmanship issues with the house (expected for houses being built at this scale), but Shea's customer service and warranty quickly addressed any issues and continue to follow up proactively.

They are very responsable. Aways very receptive to fix any detail in the house. Easy to communicate with.

We had a great experience with Shea homes. From the very beginning we felt part of the process, and enjoyed watching our home come to life. From the lot pick, to the upgrades and the design process we were walked thru with ease. The office representatives Bernadette and Josh were there to answer questions, and alot of them. The builders were very attentive to our concerns. Joe made sure to follow thru on our concerns through the entire process. The final walk thru, and monthly was also made very easy with Gary. Beautiful exterior design and plan layout suitable for work from home & family life style.

We're SO happy that Shea built our home in 3 Roots! Shea faced many challenges given the labor shortage and supply market and still managed to complete our home in less than a year. Everything was executed fantastically. Coming from a construction family, I can truly say they built a solid home. I'm very impressed. The Shea team – everyone including the construction crew, realtors, and design center – were terrific to work with: polite, professional, quick to respond, and empathetic. Our closing date got pushed out because SDG&E didn't have our gas/electric setup, so every day from the original closing date to the new/future closing date Shea covered our hotel and meals ($40pp/day)! Once we closed, they included a housewarming gift of wine glasses from William Sonoma! It was such a nice surprise. Brent Twadle was wonderful. He went above and beyond.

The sales people and all the staff that we have met have been great. Quality and timeliness of work had been excellent.

Two of the big benefits of this home is that it is a smart home with every appliance connected and controlled via the internet and gas solar electricity with an EV plug for charging. It is easy to open the front door remotely, turn on lights, view security cameras, cycle the water heater for instant hot water, turn on the heat upstairs and downstairs and gave packages delivered from Amazon right into the garage via automated garage door access.

Every person in every position throughout the process have been soo helpful and very friendly. We have created friends thru this process!! They are very responsive!

Great community, see ourselves being happy here in the long term. While the Quality and Build process wasn’t perfect a lot of that was outside of builders control.

I'm in the process of slowly moving into my new Trilogy home. There were lots of issues about delays in obtaining materials. The completion seemed rushed. That's pretty obvious from the small, niggling issues that require repair/fix contractors to come back on a weekly basis. Who knows when it will end? I'm not willing to say I would recommend Shea to anyone I liked.

We recently purchased a home built by Shea Homes. They were very professional, and have gone above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction with the process. They have responded to every small punch list item in a timely fashion and have taken care of everything. My in-laws purchased a home through Shea and they also had a seamless experience. The home was built on time, and it is clear they care about their customers and their work. The value was very good in comparison to what else was on the market. We would buy a Shea Home again.

I would recommend Shea Homes any day. Compared to friends and family who have recently built with other builders in the area, our experience has been second to none. In every aspect I have felt respected and well-communicated with. They have truly gone above and beyond to make this home our dream home. And after we closed their customer service has been truly AMAZING!!! Our Superintendent sent at least two text updates a week with photos of our home. They answered my myriad of questions and made me feel involved with the process. 11/10 would recommend!!

We love our new home, but defenitley were surprised at the items we needed to do when moving in. When designing your home, be aware of upgrades that don't include basic items like towel bars in the bathroom, tile & granite not sealed by builder. We expect some items needing attention, but did not expect to have to do projects the week we arrived.

Shea homes are beautiful and well made.

I recently purchased a spec home, and I’m loving it! My sales person was amazing as was my Shea mortgage contact. Would definitely purchase another home from Shea!

Too many unrealistic reasons to explain an 18 month build cycle. However, management responded well when faced with a rate lock expiration deadline to complete the build on a specific date.

Our experience with Frank in sales was very good. We had a bump in the road and Frank quickly found a solution. We had a change in project managers and both were very nice. Seth ended up being our PM and we were very happy with him. He kept us informed, sent pictures of progress and the house was always clean when we came to see it. The only thing I can see room for improvement is using teams. I had never used it and could have used some guidance. Also, it seems like there is a disconnect with the app and online version. Things weren’t always answered in a timely fashion because of this.

Knowledgeable, attentive and caring sales, construction and customer service professionals. It’s been a pleasure for us to work with them.
