The builder used cheep stuff

Still have unresolved issue with washing machine..

First time became Shea homeowner. Super impressive with Shea sale’s team, whatever questions I had, the team always responded in a timely manner, surprisingly often received answers immediately even after their working hours. I had purchased multiple new construction homes with different builders, including renowned one. However, I rated Shea the best, from sale’s team, construction quality, etc. Definitely Shea gained my trust. I have already spread my words about Shea to my friends. It truly deserves super five stars in my mind!

We are there 3 months now and still have NOT completed the "white-glove" instilation. Should not have that name. The options are limited......particullarly being forced to select items in a particular limited section, so we ended up with choices we don't like. Paid extra for wiring in the great room, but unable to use it since it's off center.... and now they won't fix it. Really? Several things needed to be addressed and several are being addressed, but the counter island is chipped, the front step has a nick out of it and the trim board around the garage has a nick out of it when we moved in. We were rushed thru that first day and didn not notice it until after we recived the keys. The warrentee specialists couldn't get out of there fast enough that day. We were under the understanding that all these items would be addressed at the 30 day inspection. We were just told this week that these thing would NOT be addressed. I'm really upset about this and it's really soured the whole experiene. I this was NOT explained adequately to us at the time. ... More

We’re very happy we chose Shea/Trilogy to spend our retirement years . The overall quality and lifestyle is second to none.

Purchase experience was great with wonderful sales staff. Final inspection revealed the tiniest items needing adjustments and they were fixed immediately. Turn-over at possession was a great experience and all our needs had been anticipated. Orientation on the home’s many features was thorough. After-sale care has been proactive and very responsive and we have received several phone calls to ask how things are and if we need anything. We are very pleased with our home and love the community.

This was such a professional and pleasant experience. I have high praise to sales, design, materials, construction and inspection staffs. Bravo

The home took a little more time to be built than expected. They did not have framers for 3 months. Shea mortgage did not contact us 90 days out as promised. I had to call them. Brandon was very professional and helpful and continues to be when ever I have questions. Overall, satisfied with product after being in 2 months.

The whole home buying was just what I expected. The whole Shea team has been great.

Seth was phenomenal. He did a great job, and was extremely responsive.

I had a very positive experience with Shea Homes starting with Owen, sales consultant. Alan, my construction manager, was always on top of things which was a real challenge with supply chain issues experienced because of the pandemic. And any remaining issues have been promptly addressed by Bill, my warranty specialist. I am very grateful to all who have helped me along the way.

Very mixed experience while building this house with Shea Homes. Sales people were good, but we had a pretty bad experience with the design studio. We had a great experience with the construction manager but have struggled post close with warranty items. The master planner of this community has also done a horrible job with community area, parks, and pools.

The purchase was a seamless process and all Shea representatives were helpful and responsive to any questions I had. Now that I am in my home the onsite team has been equally responsive and helpful in taking care of any tweaks that have come up.

Buying process was a little difficult due to communication. The Teams app is not a good communication device. Too slow and lag time for response was slow. And responses were short and lacked detail. More detail of the interior progress would have been greatly appreciated. Just front lics of the exterior were not adequate.

Terrible experience !! Three months later and still NO OVEN!!

We had such a great experience with Shea! We absolutely love our house. Our sales agent Kris was so helpful throughout the process! All of the people we interacted with were friendly and made sure we were taken care of. We were nervous building during Covid, but our house was only delayed a couple months and the quality seems great. Would highly recommend a Shea home.

Love Trilogy concept so far

We expected a lot more from Shea Homes, especially in quality of workmanship. The COVID excuse needs to stop, yes supply chain issues still exist but quality of workmanship should still be priority one. Everything was going great right up until 2 months prior to closing when oversight of final build went out the window, When we did a walk through and blue taped everything, hardly anything had been fixed when we closed and moved in, it literally looked like they just went in an removed all the taped items and called it good. The house was filthy with paint and paint can marks on the LVP flooring, dirt on floors and walls etc. We were shocked at how dirty the place felt. In fairness, Shea has been outstanding with our concerns, complaints and trying to make things right, but it has been a tremendous amount of work on our part to schedule all of these trades to come fix everything. ... The whole experience was great. Everyone I dealt with was wonderful and provided excellent service, before and after closing.

It was a great experience buying the Shea home in Dunes. The build quality was top notch, and the mistakes were quickly corrected. We knew this going in because we already bought a Shea home in the past. The sales staff here at the Dunes took care of the preliminary requirements and guided us all through the purchase process. Most commendable was the staff that took care of fixing the construction defects. Isaac was always available to address our concerns and he showed us how to make the most of the features of the house. Our experience with Shae Homes has been very positive from the moment we walked into the sales office the first time. The sales executive has been an absolute pleasure to work with along with the construction manager. They both were always available to answer our questions and addressed all our concerns satisfactorily. They were always very honest with us when it came to the building process and schedule. During the warrenty period the are also very responsive and has been addressing any warranty issues, which are very few, promptly. The warrenty manager has also been very attentive and communicates well. The sales team is very disorganized and not very responsive. Home prep work before delivery was done at the eleventh hour. Production workmanship is subpar. Warrenty workmandhip is very good but inconvenient because of schedule and waiting for work to be completed; it should have been done correctly before home delivery. Rob Shay is outstanding as a warrenty specialist.
