Jacqui and Mae were great, easy to work with, and informative every step of the way. This is our second time buying a Shea home. We hope there aren't too many physical issues with the home like we had last time, and that if any, they'll be taken care of within the warranty timeframe.

The entire Shea Homes team is so great. We first met the sales team, and they provided all the information we wanted to learn about the new development in the Dunes community. We had looked for new house development for a while in several other places and their introduction of the Beach House caught our interest right away. They have been very helpful during the purchasing process. They are very responsive and professional. During the house building process, we met the building team. They are very knowledgeable and professional. During the Frame Walk, they were very patient, showing us all the details of the house framework and answering our questions. At the time of final delivery phase, we met the warranty manager who is super nice, helpful, and professional. In addition to patiently and clearly explain all the details of the new house and warranty policy, he went above and beyond to help fix some small problems we found in the house and answer our questions with clarity and precision. We actually learned a lot from him. We really appreciated his responsiveness and patience as he has been very busy with so many houses closing at the same time. For example, one of our living room windows had a problem closing after a few days, we contacted him, and he immediately called the team for window installation and fixed the problem right away. We were also very impressed by the technical competence of the window installation team. They were able to quickly identify the problem and fix it in a few minutes. From my initial purchase to closure of my lone, Shea helped me to successfully get my lone and move in. I really appreciate thire patience with me The value of my home was up immediately after my initial purchase I have seen other builders in the area . For my purchase price , Shea gave me the most I am happy with the design it has everything For a comfortable living Thank you.

Starting with the sales team of Josh and Bernadette, June from Shea Mortgage, the experience was wonderful. The Shea people all have a helpful and cooperative attitude. Cody and Jake from the build team were helpful and finally, Isaac from customer service made our new home purchase a truly one of a kind experience. Thank you Shea.

Kirstie and the sales team were great and worked very well with us and our realtor thru the purchase phase. Once we closed, working with Mike, our warranty specialist has been excellent. Mike has gone above and beyond, super responsive and great attitude. Great neighborhood !

Working with Gretchen, our designer, was great and Shannon was good too. However, once we moved in, there were a number of problems found which I doubt any inspections were even done from any of the work that was done. After two months, we still have some major issues including cracked, chipped, missing stones w/ discolored grout and our back wall having water damage already from the neighbors higher up causing some flooding. This should have had a proper seal from our ground up 3 bricks to where the neighbor ground level. We have had other issues but they are too many to list here. Some of the install choices were not proper I feel either like painting all the interior walls flat including the window seals. Also our walls are not level and disproportionate in some areas w/ each other and across from another making it hard to center rugs & tables. The kitchen overhead light wasn't a dimmer and should have been which was pointed out by the electrician. The people coming in to address our shower floors weren't of good customer service to say the least causing me to loose it on an occasion where I find myself to be quite reasonable and calm generally. I just don't like bad customer service. So, overall the moving in until now hasn't been a great experience. Working with Joel is good though. ... More

Quality of kitchen cabinets not good, drawers wiggles . K Kraft or J kraft came to check and said that’s how it is. Doors not installed well. Floorings in the second floor noisy when someone is walking. I think for a new house not supposed to be like that. was address when we reported it but still the same noisy floor. It’s weird and not good for a new house.

Quality is good, walk-through before the move in did not address key electrical issues, such as misplacement of outlets in certain areas of the house and refusing to correct after move-in. Wrong wiring in the bedrooms (lights flickering when ceiling fan is on). Upper kitchen cabinets are very shallow. Overall we are satisfied with these exceptions.

Great design and finished home.

Buying experience is really bad with Shea homes. I booked home directly from builder when I qualified for 2.7% interest but with in 6 months everything changed in economy and interest rate went to 5%. When I asked for some relaxation/discount they weren't helpful or flexible instead they threatened to keep all my 70K deposit. Where as other builders like Pulte gave 20K discount also flexible with closing date to my friend who booked new house around same time. Services is really bad with Shea. They don't even care about customers once they sell the property. Please think twice before buying with Shea homes. They cover themselves in contract they don't think anything about customers. WORST builders to buy home from. Advice, don't go with ads instead do your research before getting into contract. ... More

Shea is a good homebuilder and their staff are hard workers. I wish they will consider to keep the sink in the big laundry room (not even an options for buyers).

We had a positive buying experience through Shea Homes. In all, it was about a 2 year process (1 year to secure a lot, 1 year to build). Mac and the Shea team were always straightforward, easy to work with, and responsive whenever we had questions. Alex managed the building process well, and was attentive with any building needs. After we moved in, Conor was quick to help with any warranty needs. While the price did increase while we were waiting for the lot, it was still a good value when we closed (especially compared to the market). We would buy with Shea again in the future.

We are extremely dissatisfied with our experience with Shea Homes new build. The construction is subpar. Our escrow closed with many items incomplete and a promise that their “Warranty” Dept would take care of immediately. Well it has been 2 months and items still are not complete and we STILL HAVE NOT MOVED IN.

Generally good production build experience. Would have liked more flexibility with options and finishing, such as built-in cabinetry and shelving in the great room and study, or requiring the Shea pre-defined basement finish floor plan to get 10' foundation walls.

Our experience with Shea Homes was exceptional. Everyone was kind, helpful, professional and made us feel welcomed. We definitely recommend them.

We found after we built an ocean-front house in Oregon in 2005, that building in a 55+ community in 2022 was a lot different. First, we were asked to make a purchase of a home that we had never seen, and that delayed us from being in on the start. Once we solved that, we did buy because we liked what the community offered: people our age all living in the same place. However, because we were moving to Las Vegas, we had to schedule a lot of things and with not being able to ascertain a move-in date, it made it that much harder for us to schedule our move-in. Once we got in, we found that not being able to select interior things, floors, carpets, appliances that we liked, e.g. we had cherry floors and cabinetry in our old home and we were not able to get them in our new home. Once we got in, we found that some of the construction work was not to the standard we were led to believe, and it has taken a lot of time out of our unpacking and setting up a new home to deal with those issues. We have been in the house now for 1 1/2 months, still not all unpacked, but we are seeing that we can make this work. The fact that this is a 55+ community, it means we have friends that are our same ages, and that is a plus. The last temporary home we had in Colorado, the community was a mix of everything you could possibly not want for neighbors and that made Trilogy a shining star for us. Even with the 110-degree temperatures this summer, we acclimated to the area without a lot of stress. I think one of the most helpful things was the support of Trilogy staff. They answered all of our questions - sometimes not with the answer we had hoped for - but they answered us and gave us explanations. For us, that was essential. I think the worst thing to happen to us is that we discovered that Sunstone is not located on 3+ acres of ocean-front and we have realized how much we miss that setting. However, we now have more new friends and more new places to explore. I think the best thing that has happened is that we have more doors open to us to do the things that we enjoy...and I would suspect as we get to know the area better, we will find more. Our move was a good move and Trilogy fits most of the things in our life that we need. ... More

When it came time to select our model and features, Harmony staff were exceptionally helpful. On request, they found examples of other homes with same model and similar features, took pictures, and sent us the photos in real time, which greatly aided us in making our selections.

The Shea home building experience was really good..On the construction side Josh, Matt and Jorge were excellent and on the sales side Catherine was great too. The building process is fun and stressful all at the same time. After the sale the Shea people have a 1,5 and 11 month warranty walk through and Brandon takes care fall issues that were missed prior to closing, just as it should be, service after the sale how refreshing in this world we live in today.

Sales team are very helpful and made our buying experience perfect for our new home. Great service by the home warranty team.

Nice house. Good quality but could be better. Builder very rigid with their dates and times for required meetings. Correcting issues after the sale has been a slow process.

MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THE BUILDING PROCESS IS ALWAYS EVOLVING AS IT IS DEPENDENT ON MANY FACTORS OVER WHICH THE BUILDER DOES NOT HAVE CONTROL I.E WEATHER, SUPPLIES, LABOR FORCE RAW MATERIALS, TRANSPORTATION OF GOODS ETC SO MAKE SURE YOU PLAN FOR CONSTRUCTION DELAYS FROM ORIGINAL DATE

House was not ready during our walk thru. People weee still working and cleaners were there too. Missing shower doors, bad workmanship, lots to be fixed

This is the right place at the right time. Everyone has been very helpful and we are looking forward to many happy years here.
