Construction quality is so bad, issues not being addressed after home delivery. Everything so visible to the eyes but Sharath homes say they are within threshold.

The homebuying experience with Shea was very easy. We had two fabulous sales people Paula and Lynda and they kept everything running smoothly and worked out all the complicated details. It’s mind boggling how intricate all those details are and I am so appreciative of Paula and Lynda that they kept everything in order during the whole process. Our two field managers Todd and Mathew oversaw all the details of the construction process and the house turned out beautifully. Melinda in the design show room was very helpful and patient with my decisions for all the details of the house and it paid off, the house looks beautiful. The Initial loan qualification process with Amy went very well, but when we had to update everything a year later that process was more tedious and complicated than I felt it needed to be. It became a arduous and expensive for us and we changed lenders at that time. The closing process was easy and the house presentation was very nice and thoughtful. The house was remarkably clean and perfectly ready for move-in. We had several scheduling issues with the subcontractor I wired but when Adreiel , Matt and Travis arrived they did a good job. We’ve had many issues with the pool and landscaping but those are slowly being worked out. We have been here 2 1/2 months and the house is working very smoothly. We love it. ... More

The process was long due to Covid and the problems with materials and lead times. Shea representatives were always able to talk to even if the news from them wasn't what you wanted to hear. They did the best they could with the trades available to complete the home and make the required fixes. We love the design, feel, and function of the new home tremendously.

It was a wonderful experience building my home with Shea Homes because of George, Angela and Adam. They are responsive, attentive and super nice to work with.

This is our second Shea home and overall it has been a great experience. I only gave 4 stars on price because prices everywhere have skyrocketed and 4 stars on quality because of one fairly significant issue involving location of grab bars in showers The Warranty service has been excellent in every regard. David is professional and very responsive and a credit to your company

I purchased three detached houses in great park community. The Shea home is the best builder.The details and service is great.

Matthew and Ricky are very responsive and understanding of the issues and have fixed things efficiently. Salvador seeks an excuse first to try and avoid fixing things, but fortunately, Matt and Ricky's judgement prevailed and things are being fixed to the way we prefer. Heat-pump driven multiple mini-split HVAC zoned system is still giving us issues. I believe that Ricky and Matt are dealing with several systems and haven't been able to devote much attention to ours.

High quality craftsmanship for the price.

I am extremely pleased with my purchase of a Shea home in Trilogy Verde River. The purchase experience with sales rep (Liz) was excellent - she found a more desirable lot during the purchase; the design center representative (Janelle) was meticulous in specifying all the many selections; the mortgage rep (Spencer) was continuously on top of the transaction; the warranty rep (Steve) was -is- quickly responding to any request I may have. Seeing few air cracks & other minor issues.. Shea is helping with them as part of 1 year warranty.. So far the experience has been great

I have paid premium price for my house, but did get poor quality house for it. - The sales team very stubborn do not give opportunity to tell the quality issues identified, they just say whether to cancel or buy it. How can we cancel it after putting such a huge amount. We have to accept what ever quality they built it. - The put the chipped roof beam, when I pointed that issue, construction officer says it is what it is. - On receiving day of the key found huge cracks on the side yard. They can’t address it with in few hours, as I got the keys, I have to wait for service request. - After 20 days of living every nook and corners has huge crack/ displacement, during the 1 month appointment learned that they can fix these issues at 1 year appointment. - With in 15 days there was big wall enclosure displacement at the entry of the house. This shows the quality construction, I feel disappointed with this problem. Everyone in the neighborhood think it is the structural problem, where as your team think this model has known issues with wall enclosure displacement. - the garage handover with a dirty wall, I have notified before the keys handover. They didn’t care to fix it. Positive side: All minor problem fixed on 1month appointment findings on time. Overall the quality of the construction is very poor. ... More

We received adequate updates during the build of our new home. We appreciated the quick responses to our questions & concerns.

Buying experience with the Sales staff was great. Post-closing not as good. I found a box of nails on my roof two months after closing. 30-day review did not go smoothly. Multiple trades for touch-up issues were scheduled without letting us know. Also, our backyard gate/fence was installed the wrong way and, 9 weeks after closing, it still has not been remedied. Multiple issues with post-closing items still remain pending.

We were the first house to be delivered in a new phase and very openly felt like Shea delivered us the home too early. There were many issues with the house that we are still working on fixing over a month later. We don't even have a mailbox yet and have to pick up our mail from the post office! The home was not setup with usps so we could not get internet service until after we moved in. The OneTouch experience to setup all our home was difficult to coordinate and we still don't have everything setup. Overall we have not been pleased with the experience we sold vs. what Shea delivered.

Steve, the build manager was very open, and generally built a solid quality house....responsive to questions, but obviously has no control over timing/delivery of materials. Several (minor) quality fit/finish items could have been improved. Not sure he controls the sub-contractors, but has a clear eye on a quality build. The warranty team/process is horrible...after 5 months, still waiting for (identified at 30 day review) a hinge screw, door close adjust, front door threshold gap repair. Have re-scheduled most repair items at least once, and have lost count of how many 8-12 mornings we've wasted, waiting for someone that never showed.... Working with the fourth 'warranty analyst', so my observation is that Shea cannot keep people, and needs a review of sub-contractors. ... More

Excellent customer service and great staff

The Shea agents for Park Circle were fantastic in their communication regarding progress of the home building and guidance on options. They made the whole process stress free and welcoming.

All involved from sales to construction to post construction did a good job.

No flexibility. Many mistakes in the process

We had a great experience with Shea from start to finish! The whole sales office was great, especially Mac. He was very responsive when we had a snag with the design center. That issue was promptly addressed and our minds were quickly put to ease. Our realtor even said Shea was the best new build company he has ever encountered! That really reaffirmed our trust in Shea. We are in love with our new dream home!!

Shea has exceeded my expectations Ive bought a new built home before and after i closed the company wasn't responsive however Shea has been top notch with responding to all minor issues
