Everyone here is great! Casey,Vicki,Patty,Mariel and Kyle. They make the process easy. The team here is very responsive to questions and kept me up to date for each phase of the build. I highly recommend Shea.

Shea builds a high quality home and pays attention to the details. The home designs are what really sold us though. They are well thought out for today’s family lifestyles.

great experience for buying a home

I have heard great about Shea homes, but in my case many things were missing when I get the keys and until I remind them there is something is missing, they are not ordering it. It’s really painful to find each and everything. It’s been 2 months, still there are many items are in back order and there is no ETA. Moreover the issues in the home are not yet addressed. I am really disappointed.

Shea assigns you a person who does your walkthrough and is available for problems that come up. Each week they sent me a picture of the building progress of my home.

Please be aware of very expensive landscaping, that is not conveyed very well

Although the construction was delayed our reps were helpful and informative. Our sales rep Liz was good to work with. Everyone has been friendly and pleasant.

Materials are taking a long time to get in. You will have to learn patience

The entire home buying process was very smooth. The build quality was good, we had some flooring issues but the customer service team was on top of it once we notified about these minor issues. I would highly recommend Shea homes for any aspiring first time home buyers!

Very good bang for the buck. Not perfect but they try really hard to get things right. Our home is beautifully designed and built to a high standard. We could not be happier.

We love our new home!

Punchlist items from pre-closing meetings still not fixed after 3 months in the house. Electrical issues, painting issues, security equipment issues. LOTS of fit and finish issues. Wouldn't recommend.

Lots of items need fixing in this house!

Customer service has not paid attention to detailed request. Disorganized. Perhaps volume of repairs & poor craftsman gas made job more difficult to keep up with it’s understandable nothing would be perfect but I’ve had to repeat my request multiple times to clarify previous concerns. Most alarming leaky sink.

Once we decided to be part of the Trilogy experience, I was very impressed on the process in which Shea/Trilogy keep us informed on every step of the way of the house build. We are thrilled to be part of the Trilogy Neighborhood and we love our new house. Ed

Given the price point of the home and Shea’s reputation I would have expected much better workmanship from those various trades that did work on our home. The fit and finish on the home was really lacking. We have seen issue throughout our house with the attention to details including paint, tile work, cabinetry and windows to name a few. We know that trades do this work but there needs to be better oversight from Shea. We regards to materials it is definitely clear that the best materials weren’t used. From the faucets to the exhaust vents these weren’t the best quality or the most appropriate for a home of this price. The kitchen exhaust vent didn’t have the correct damper and causes loud noise when it’s windy. The Moen fixtures feel very cheap and low quality. The toilets are below the quality we expected, they don’t even have soft close seats. This is minor but iemblematic of the lack of attention to detail that should be fitting of a house at this price point. When compared to our previous new construction with a different builder the materials are definitely not up to par. Another example of the lack of attention to details would be the HVAC system. For a house of this size there was no zoning. It immediately caused issues with cold and hot spots in the house. Even though the issue was corrected, I think there should have been planning to address this during design and construction. Overall given how these homes were positioned in the market and the price point the trades really disappointed with the quality of work. The materials and attention to details were extremely lacking. As a homeowner this puts the responsibility on our shoulders to try to work after move in the figure it out. Communication was generally good -- more than we expected. Home seems solidly built. Since we've moved in, Shea's rep has been very good about trying to make sure we are satisfied with the resolution of even small issues.

Over all we are very pleased with our purchase. Due to the pandemic it made everything difficult for the buyer and Trilogy Shea Homes.
