The Shea team has made us feel special as buyers along every step of the way.

The sales team was good. Pricing above market with initial homes seems like initial home buyers should be made whole with some upgrades. Or rebates . Lack of upgrades relative to model homes is unusual. We’ve bought two prior new homes and the builders were happy to offer us upgrades.. thesewe are profane of happy with the technology and remote app abilities of the home.

I have had 3 water leaks in my apartment before I even moved in. I had work going on in my apartment for the first 30 days after I received the keys and was not compensated for anything. Very poor management. Would not recommend them again.

Overall, it was a good experience. The team was easy to work with, and the workmanship and quality were solid. However, I wouldn’t recommend using the insurance company they partner with. Their representatives were rude and seemed uninterested in helping customers. Emails were often ignored, and when they did respond, questions weren’t clearly answered. Interestingly, they only became responsive when I mentioned bundling car insurance.

As with any new buildout, we too expeienced some minor issues. Theresa has been phenomenal is helping us get our issues resolved to our satisfaction. She ALWAYS goes (way) above and (way) beyond and does not let up will our issue to resolved to our satisfaction. She has made the after sale experience easy to deal with :)

Pre-occupancy walk-throughs are very nice.

Jennifer in sales has benn great all the way through. She is always available to answer any questions???s even on her day off. She is the best and made the buying experience so fun

It’s hard for me to accept that when you buy a home the brand new oven trips the breaker. Shea knew before the purchase and said nothing. Now I’m stuck waiting on a part that is three more weeks out to hopefully fix the issue. It’s already been 10’ weeks. I’ve now learned it’s a know issue with many homes in the area. Pretty disappointing for a brand new home:

Overall quality of home is very good. Warranty service on construction defects excellent. Value for money in today’s market is questionable, but that is an individual choice. Having owned 8 brand new homes in that last 49 years, Shes is good only disappointment is lack of attention to yards outdoors. Enough said.

House was built pretty well. Only one issue. It takes a minute and a half to get hot water at the kitchen sink because they did not install a circ pump. Seems crazy to waste 1.5 gallons of water in Las Vegas every time we need hot water. Its on us to fix it they did nothing. For $820,000 you would expect a little better.

We had been looking for a smaller home after retiring from work, but had trouble finding the right combination of home and neighborhood in the town where we lived. This Shea home came on the market shortly after we renewed our search, and we are very pleased with it. It had been already finished, so I cannot speak to the experience of working with Shea from the ground up. However, Shea has been responsive to minor warrantee claims, in which they proved to be responsive and effective. We love the floor plan and general quality of the build.

We were very happy with every stage of our purchase and construction process. We were able to visit our construction site every week and were kept up to date on the construction by our superintendent, Guy.

We recently purchased a lighthouse from Shea Homes. We like the quality and the purchasing was very smooth.

Shea homes building experience is top notch at Avalon Crossing. Their sales team to project site manager and warranty manager have been wonderful to work with. Their communication is top notch.

Way too techie for me!!

Working with the PMs were great, all of them were punctual, easy and quick to respond, updated us constantly to know where we are in the process. We even were ahead of the target date and that was relayed to us for preparation of the move. Overall a great experience for my first new build

Buying your first home is supposed to be stressful and it was a little, but all the people at Shea Homes made the process as easy as possible and quite enjoyable.

Despite a nearly 4 year long process to move up on the "list" with a less-than-transparent home buying experience, I was finally fortunate enough to be "picked" to purchase a home. I purchased in 9/2024 and closed in 7/2025, which is the exact amount of time that Shea projected. Once in, the home is beautiful and exceeds my expectations which is quite hard to do! It looks alot bigger inside with the walls up rather than framed. There were several issues that I found (despite 4 or 5 sign-offs by Shea and the City) like the ducts not working with the thermostat and an overhead light being placed in the wrong place that Shea eventually fixed. There were also lots of paint touchups needed, a few plumbing/sink/shower issues, refrigerator issues, scratched floor boards that needed to be replaced, and other items that required Shea to fix. While they were all eventually fixed, it was a very painful process to work with the warranty employee and way too stressful. Now that the fixes are almost all complete, I can finally exhale and enjoy the house without workmen. The actual neighborhood is incredible - everyone is so happy to have gotten the opportunity to purchase a home that they are so friendly and happy to be here. Putting my prior 4.5 year journey aside, I am so happy to have purchased a Shea Home and it's gorgeous. I am 100% happy that I didn't settle for another house in the area and waited for this home.
