Please make sure your project manager stays focused on all aspects during the building process, and doesn't make excuses for what she or he can't keep up with. Most alarming was hearing we weren't getting a custom home, even from the Contruction Manager. We all know these aren't custom homes, but most of us have upgraded our homes to make what we would like to have included.

From beginning to end, Shea was amazing. The sales, construction, and warranty team have been very responsive, helpful and professional with our questions. The “standard” options were far better than other builders for a fair price and the upgrades equally as fair. We love this house and are so happy with what Shea has provided.

Shea is a good builder. We've built two homes with them, However the Canyons home has sloppy workmanship. Many items were installed wrong, banged up, loose, missing, incomplete, not working etc

Was a good experience with a big project

Aside from the challenges of completing the home during the middle of the pandemic and resulting schedule delays, overall we're satisfied with the house and how Shea is responding to punchlist and warranty requests. Quality of the house is good and nothing major so far.

Shea runs a well oiled process.

We are very happy with our new home. Despite some delays in the building process (related to the global supply shortage). The home is everything we wanted it to be.

Be aware that if you buy a “Designer” home, it’s nothing more than a spec home with no extras. I’ve already spent $25k upgrading things…not happy about that.

Buying our home in Trilogy has been a truly amazing experience! Frim the day I walked in to the Sales Office, (yes I bought that day), to our move in date, everything and everyone has been top-notch. Thank you!

This is my first home purchase for my wife and I. The response time to have someone answer my questions or to really elaborate on what needs to be done took weeks at times. I would have to reach out multiple times before getting a response.

Very friendly and responsive team .

Builder is slow to respond to issues. Lack of transparency with items that they will not be able to complete and/or deliver by the time the house is delivered to home buyer. Poor coordination and communication with Shea staff as well as with trades. Lack of accountability for trades that don’t do their job well or staff that don’t follow through.

Excellent process from start to finish and excellent quality of construction

Thought Shea Homes was a good builder. Not so much on my home. Too many things wrong with it. I expected better from Shea Homes.

The builder has a an attitude of it is our way or go somewhere else. The communication is spotty and not always consistent among their employees. The house itself is okay but nothing special. I have worked with other builders and would rate Shea as mediocre at best.

House is fantastic. Used Shea to hire fence install; terrible height placement abs more than five requests to talk with me about it, zero response. You will love the house just watch for these types of potential issues.

They kept their word at every turn in spite of all the supply chain challenges

The build experience towards the end was stressful. We chose upgrades that we had to follow up on. The project management was lacking. The workmanship was not good. We are still dealing with issues like basic finishing of tiles that have grout haze on them, Lvp flooring with stains. Quite disappointed

Sales people were very kind to concerns

Shea Homes have great follow-ups. They do not just move you in and forget about you.

ANYTHING to do with workmanship, or requiring individual competence in a trade was terrible. Entire electrical system had to be virtually re-done, inside and out. While being told during the process, everything was going great, I would come here and the home was a disaster, led to 4 -6 week delay. Many issues still not resolved. Our 30 day inspection fixes MIGHT be partially done by the 90 day point. Electriacl, tile/grout, paint are a constant source frustration/battle with Shea. Dishwasher didn't work for 60 days and Shea forced me to get our own repair person who threatened to walk out unless Shea agreed to pay on the spot because it was a Shea install problem. "Happens ALL the time" was the quote. Carpets dirty and stained on move in because NEVER had plastic down while work still being done AFTER carpet installed, while being told the whole time the carpet was protected.
