I Love my Shea home!

garages are extremely small and no 4 car option. Numerous issues in need of correcting after close. Appliance options are poor. Monogram is a terrible product! There's no flexibility in finishes and few options.

This is a very well designed complex with nice grounds. The units have smart home devices. It would have been nice to have assistance with setting up these devices. I still can't get my garage door app to work. All other devices are setup. Including the Ring doorbell, both thermostats, hot water heater, oven & microwave.

Many minor defects in finish. Feels like builder moving so fast the quality is suffering.

Was absolutely the best. Shea's people were always interested in us first and became friends. The construction quality was beyond our wildest expectations. And the design and architecture help make it feel more like a home than just another house.

I believe your overall experience depends on who you get as a field manager.

Day one we were kind of led on, 1 its a gas Furnace but you don't bring gas lines for a Stove/oven or even for a dryer . 2 advised there will be a food truck every friday in neighborhood. Not everyone in the Shae Company is on the same page . 1 to not know which unit is being sold first . 2 to not having the same close date One person says its all up to the buyer then saying it has to be closed by a different day. Quality on their Model homes is horrible . the Frame work not a even square walls or Windows . You can see the Seam lines on Ceiling runs from Kitchen thru the living room . The windows NOT one the exact same size when the 4 should be exact and its not off by just a smidge its off by a lot and you can see it . I would think the price you will sell the model homes that should be your priority to have them perfect instead of in a rush so you can show people the units its not fair to the new owners and because of that charge Full amount for all upgrades but to not give even a discount knowing the quality of work done was not at 100 percent to standards. I cannot say about the homes being built for others who bought to their liking and upgrades on how well that was done. I believe being spread out as a company the communication is not going to be good and having New builders on each site does not keep the product the same over all . Last negative thing; There is no Flexability for the buyers Schedule . Its like they have banker hours 9-4 pm . Even tho it is a Senior 55* you still have buyers working that cannot do those hours and really need evening or weekend appt and Not understanding the need of your buyers is very sad . Good stuff . I love the community and your vision . The older you get the more you want and need just a single floor home. I do love your plans on most of your homes. Your community look so much like a home community and not a Shared wall Town Home Community . ... More

Overall experience is very excellent and ecerything is from Point A to Point Z, services after sales also very satisfied.

We have been very pleased by our experience in purchasing a Shea Home at Trilogy at Vistancia. Our builder rep, Bill, has been very responsive and has a very positive attitude. We are happy with the quality of workmanship and how organized the home buying process has been.

This is our second home at Encanterra. By far the first experience was much, much better than this time. Our construction manager - Mike Cama - was consistently good, but his management team above him were not supportive, often challenging and at times rude. The quality of the home is much worse than before. Craftsmanship is moderate and many items were simply “missed” or done “half-way”. A prime example is the A/C unit had almost no (zero) refrigerant in it yet passsed Shea’s “stringent quality check”. Wiring issues, more A/C issues and damaged tiles are just some examples of the poorer quality of our new home compared to the one built in 2018. Our customer service rep is trying hard and we appreciate his effort, but he has a bigger task than what should be necessary. ... More

Excellent home buying experience but when it comes to after sales service we are very disappointed

Our home was built during covid when there was a shortage of construction workers, etc. Very sloppy paint job, carpet job, and quality is very poor. This is our second Shea home. First one out of state no issues. Our warranty care person in this particular community is not very responsive with following up and fixing the issues. Very bad experience with this particular home. Three months into our brand new home we had a master bathroom leak. Shea had to demolition the the whole master bathroom. Leaked into our neighbors ceiling below. Shea refuses to pay for full carpet cleaning that their contractors destroyed and stained. Just awful!!!! ... More

We loved working with Shea and could tell we were getting a superior product. The home and neighborhood have lived up to our expectations and we couldn’t be happier. I tell myself everyday how lucky we were to find this home in this community.

Representatives were easy to work with and followed up fast on promises made .

I was so disappointed in the quality of the materials and the workmanship. Everything seems so cheap, and the laborers did not take any pride in their work.

Very customer oriented. Communication has been great.

All those that I have dealt with are swift in response, caring, professional and courteous. Special shout out to Owen Crannell. He often went over and above the call of duty.

I liked how easy the process was and fast too.

Be prepared to do a fair amount of tile, color, flooring shopping and design ideas on your own before meeting in the design center as the time is limited and the choices even more limited.

I am not as happy as I thought I would be with the quality of our home.

Our brand new fridge did not work, four rooms of our home only had primer on walls and was not painted until two months after we moved in. We had to move all furniture and walk hangings again. Many other issues. Very unhappy with how all of this was taken care of.

There have been some issues with workmanship and materials but most of these have been taken care of in a reasonable time period. The homeowners association follow through, however, has been extremely poor and we are somewhat concerned about that going forward.

Good buying experience but experiencing consistent issues and a long turn around on service request
