Shea homes has great home designs.

The customer service stands out the most about Shea. The co is prompt on home issues on flaws.

The first word that comes to mind when I think about the homes built by Shea is Quality. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you have walked into a home where quality really matters, from the finishings to the sturdiness of the building. The salesperson gave us a great tour of the entire community and was very knowledgeable about the area. She showed us homes that fit into our budget which, in turn, helped us find our new home. We also looked at the homes being offered by the other builders in the community but they were either out of our price range or did not feel like the same quality that the Shea Homes have. Shea also have a great customer service program after the sale. Our representative has gone out of his way to find and replace one of the tiny lightbulbs in the vent over our cooktop! All in all, our experience with Shea has been very positive. We love our new Shea home! (By the way, I never give the highest rating because that leaves nothing for you to strive for!) ... More

Our experience with buying a Shea Home was very exciting. From viewing the model homes, going to the Design Center, and watching the construction process, our family was very excited to move into our new home!

We feel lucky we were able to get a spec home given the housing market in Arizona. Watching the house going up was alot of fun, and Jason our superintendent was absolutely great. Christa was always helpful and prompt in returning our calls and helping with anything needed. Only a couple things that are minor would i change about the house. We love our new Shea home.

The best part of the experience was working with Sandy in the sales office. She made everything seamless.

Well insulated and good windows. Still continue to wait for inside paint samples for touch ups. Do we have to wait a year for this?? After a month of working with your architectural firm in trying to put a small fence around our garbage cans, we finally gave up and told them to shred our drawings as we are done with the run-around!

Personally want to thank Shea for our new home. It's our first. The experience has been very rocky at times, but overall I am happy to be in our home. Shea Mortgage was probably the best experience of all. However when it came to the building experience, the Design Center would be the worst. Followed by sales. Because there was a lack of accountability, we as new home builders rarely felt like we were given all of the information and/or could have been directed better. When something came up (and it did several times) we were told it was too late or we should have known better. I never try to blame others, it's not my thing but for the builders to blame the home buyers was a first. Now with the overall move in. So far we are getting things fixed in our first year but again, there seems to be a theme with Shea when it comes to clean, honest communication. ... More

Shea homes did an amazing job, from sales, to mortgage to customer care they knocked it out of the park. The team is absolutely amazing and if there are any issues they are on top of it. My only minor downfall is there are some areas of sloppy work done (by trades). There’s missing or streaky paint areas, work left incomplete and woth building a new home don’t expect it to be as clean as if you were buying someone else’s. There is construction dust, streaky windows an dirty window seals. But that’s all minor stuff. The overall quality and care they put into the home is phenomenal. As stated the team is unmatched, and the minor issues we had are all getting taken care of by the customer care team. I would highly recommend Shea homes to everyone! ... More

Service rep. Informed us of scheduled repairs but no one showed up. He forgot to send work orders to vendors. Work was eventually completed. Lag time from request to completion can be a few weeks.

Have been in my home for two months. Had a plumbing leak that was quickly fixed and some other relative minor issues. Some exterior trim work was poorly done for the price of the house I feel. Responsiveness to issues has been excellent so far. I think more time is needed in the home for a truly accurate review.

We had a great experience with Laura on the sales side, and we’re probably here because of her forthrightness and good counsel, Ron our construction supervisor was very responsive, honest, helpful and delivered a great product, and Neal, our customer service representative, is a delight to work with and gets done what needs to be done to put the high gloss polish on our new home.

The process of buying my dream-home was effortless and exciting. I had some challenges with the buyer of the home I was selling and Shea Team bent-over backwards to accommodate me. High-five Shea!!!

The builder is very responsive to the punch list and is very good about getting whatever needs fixing done in a very timely fashion.

Positives: My salesperson, James, designer, Debbie, and construction superintendent, Manny all contributed to a wonderful home purchase experience. Negative: Shea Mortgage reps were not great timely communicators.

I loved working with the sales team before we purchased the property. And post sales was great as well. The final product is nice. But the design process was bad. Response was slow and when we got a hold of the designer, it felt like she did not care to really help us. And got to a point where she was not responding to our requests. Kind of like seeing a surgeon who is ready to punch the clock. And I mean we are spending a ton of money to buy the house, at least act like you care.

Good build quality, but not great. Sales process was simple and streamlined. Overall a good experience except for HOA CC&Rs - overkill for 70 home tract.

Good communication and follow up by sales staff, construction supervisors, and warranty rep. Very professional. Homes are very close together, Design Center choices somewhat limited. Quality of workmanship and attention to detail by subcontractors is lacking, especially by painters., GE appliances have many issues, and GE has horrible customer service for warranty repairs.

Everyone I’ve encountered during the home buying process with Shea has been extremely professional. The ladies in the front office were great to work with and incredibly accommodating and responsive. There were a couple issues we noticed during our initial walk through, but everything was fixed on the final walk through. Overall, my family and I are extremely happy with our new home! Thank you Shea!

We are beyond pleased with our new home experience with Shea builders- Encanterra. Building a new home across the country is beyond challenging but during a pandemic was unimaginable. Our team was amazing keeping us informed with pictures,emails,texts,and virtual contact . When we finally were able to see our new home in person we were so excited and extremely impressed with the workmanship and quality of our new Shea home.

The Shea team, from their sales staff to their construction crews and quality control people, following the move-in have provided us a good experience. In the middle of our purchase, the pandemic hit, and there were some delays; however, we were pleased with how hard the Shea group worked to meet their deadlines and give us their professional treatment every step of the way from construction to the move-in.

We are very pleased with the design and layout of our new home. The overall quality is very good. This is the second Shea home we have owned and would recommend them to anyone
