I love the style and size of my new Shea home. It has everything I need and for the right price with quality finishes. The community is well planned to include many things to do. It is everything I was looking for to have an active life when I retire.

We had a great experience with all Shea Homes employees. They were quick with communication, respectful, and always willing to answer our questions. We love our new home and are very happy with the quality of it!

Good and fast customer service

Lovely property rugged quiet and peaceful

They delivered on time even during COVID-19. Everything was as I had expected as far as the upgrades, the quality of the workmanship, and the customer services.

We did not spend much (hardly any) time reviewing the options or what we were getting. (I know, dumb.) We simply trusted that Shea would go a great job and build a quality home. We were not disappointed. :)

Enjoy the community very much

Great buying experience and response to issues with the structure after moving in. Very disappointed with the landscaping behind our new home. The plantings along the walking path behind our home are dead/dying and the area just full of weeds. No one seems to want to fix it. Wish we had resolved this before moving in.

From day one the experience with Dave and Missy was amazing. We were kept in the loop with step by step house progress the entire time . They held their end of the bargain with how long the build would take. There was no surprises. The price was well known and no hidden fees along the way. The house is so well built with 2x6s. Virtual design studio was thorough and professional. The walkthrough was so easy and meticulous. No stones left unturned and we were told “we want it to be perfect for you” Willy was amazing and so knowledgeable and friendly. Our experience was second to none and really gave me an amazing impression of Shea homes. I can’t help but share it will friends and only wish more properties exist with Shea homes around the front range for our friends to have the opportunity too. When we tell anyone who our builder was, they say oh that’s awesome, they are good. It’s so true! We are truly lucky. Thanks for treating us like family. It would’ve been helpful for us to be able to speak with some recent home owners For options. The sales and design people are helpful but depending upon who you work with you will get different answers or explanations of options. I would never use Shea’s landscaping people again as the work is very poor and expensive. I would also get basic flooring and pay to have an outside company redo the floors for about 1/3 the cost Otherwise the home is beautiful seems well-built And the neighborhood is outstanding

I had a great field manager who took care of issues promptly.

Good quality, several options to make the house your home

Great people and company. My impression is everyone is too stretched. Responsiveness and detail support could be better. At least in the community I am in, Trilogy Rio Verde

Overall I believe Shea builds a very good home. But my opinion There were too many issues incomplete from our walk thru. the exterior painting of the house, the service garage door, our kitchen counter top stained, too many wrong color paint on patch ups, cabinets with scratches marks that are very visible, crack in bathroom sink. I expected more of the walk thru items completed.

Excellent customer service. It felt like we were buying a house from long time friends. I wouldn't hesitate to ever buy from Shea again.

A wonderful first exposure to Shea customer service

I love the design and value of Shea homes, over all I would say they are a better than average builder. Depends on which customer service representative that being assigned, responsiveness is from bad to excellent. I had good and bad experiences with them.

We truly enjoy the layout of the floorplan and the smart features of our new home.

Shea has quality construction and everything is beautifully designed. Plus They have amazing people that will take good care of you both before and after the sale. Top notch service!

The Shea team are truly the best around. This was our first new home in 25 years and we were in excellant hands from day one. There were so many questions ,considerations,some changes. All around outstanding customer service and experience buying a home with Shea Homes. As a first time home buyer, our sales representative made the whole process a smooth and pleasant experience! Would definitely purchase again with Shea Homes.

We had numerous problems during the build out and had to threaten to terminate the contract on 3 different occasions to get things done that should have never been in question. The standard response to any request is "no". Shea does a very poor job of supervising the subcontractors. Most of the subcontractors are good, but some are not so good and Shea's supervision isn't diligent enough to maintain good quality with the poorer subs. The best advice is to keep close tabs during the building process because mistakes will be made. Our home is perfect for us in every way. Our community is just as amazing as our home! And the people, from the salesperson, to our field manager, to every single trades person we met, were all professional, communicated well and followed through on every promise.
