The experience can be overwhelming, Shea homes definitely did everything they could to assist in lessining the burden.

I love the hardwood floors, ceramic tile in wet areas, high ceilings, awesome view from backyard and magnificent granite oversized kitchen countertop. And lastly but most importantly how the Shea team is so professional and Reachable ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I relocated to the Houston area from out of state and everyone: sales, finance, the construction manager, management, & title company are great to work with. Once we got settled in it was like family, the construction manager checked on us until we were passed to home warranty department, which is very responsive, and quickly addressed any concerns we had. Everyone that entered my home has been a pleasure to work with. I love my home, neighbors and the community pool area /playground. This has been a great experience because of the Shea Team! You won't be disappointed.

This is our first home in USA and we could not ask for better!! From day 1 which is visiting the sales office our experience has been amazing. The support and professionalism shown by Shea staff stands out than any other we have heard or seen. The crew (sales, construction, mortgage etc.) have been really helpful. House is build to meet all the regulatory requirements and codes so one can sleep peacefully. I am really grateful to Shea team as even with the issues faced due to pandemic and winter storm they managed to get the house ready before estimated time. The process with Shea homes has been excellent. The loan department made sure that our loan was processed smoothly and professionally. During the construction, they kept us informed with numerous phone calls to update us on the status of the home. After the move-in, they consistently communicated with us. We moved in during the early phase of the construction. It turned out to be a good investment and the subdivision layout is extremely nice. We have been incredibly pleased doing business with Shea homes.

I am a first time home buyer and the thought of building a home with all the decisions was frightening experience, so I thought. The team at Shea Homes gave me something more valuable than a home. They gave my wife and I piece of mind throughout the entire home buying experience. From home financing, closing and warranty period. Shea Sales, mortgage, construction and Customer Service all worked as a unified team that made the buying experience exciting, fun, with confidence and yes most of all piece of mind that all the details were being taken care of by Shea. How would you describe the quality and value of your new home? The quality of the home I purchased has been good. There has been some small items that you would expect needed attention but Shea fixes things quickly and it's done right. We have received so many compliments on our new home both exterior and interior. There are two areas I wish Shea would improve on and that is following up with HomePro for the Shea Connect and Wiesenbaker for the design. I felt very confused during this part of the home building process. Meaning, it was difficult to understand the responsibilities between HomePro and Shea when it came to setup and installation and the design process is lacking a true designer that is innovative. The designer we had just gave us basic standard choices and provided very little advice to implement our vision. I think Shea should look at improving the process at the design center. Overall, I am very satisfied and pleased the way my new home was built and how it turned out. If you are looking for a quality builder that does things right, and on-time with quality and great customer service, then Shea is the builder for you. I don’t recommend to buy from Shea Homes

Make sure you keep track of everything otherwise they might try and switch out things you ordered and then make you feel like that was never an option. Overall the experience was okay. They do provide differential treatment to some buyers that are able to do modifications where others are told no. After moving in everything is great except for the caulking. There are holes in it and door jams not completely caulked. Most things seemed rushed instead of taking the time to make sure it’s right.

The sales center was awesome, got the lot on the lake and the very expensive upgrades, however the thoroughness in detail to a pristine home build missed the mark with the construction workers not paying attention to detail. The pandemic brought in poor quality workers and flawed workmanship. Quite a few things were incomplete and I did not have that WOW moment when moving in. Deep cleaning wasnt done, the home was dusty, tile and flooring did not look brand new, electrical glitches still happening with the breaker, missing under cabinet lightening, missing sprinkler heads, HomePro is useless still waiting on a couple of work tickets to be scheduled for service. Aesthetics and first impressions are everything. I needed to have that WOW moment of my forever dream home and I did not. Still waiting on Shea to circle back on service recovery. ... More

The builders are very nice and professional. They were very transparent about everything. They’ll listen to your concerns and suggestions and will do their best to incorporate it in your home. I couldn’t ask for a better quality service

I enjoyed my home buying experience. With so many builders in Houston we chose Shea partially because of their sales rep. She made us feel at home as soon as we stepped through the model home’s door. My home is beautiful. Every morning walking out of my bedroom I feel like I’m at a resort.

I have purchased several homes over the years and my new Shea home is by for the worst. The only reason i purchased the home is i was being relocated by my job and needed an inventory home immediately and this one was available. Everything in this home, the sinks, the tubs, the fixtures, shower heads, lighting, light switches, door knobs, ceiling fans, faucets and cabinets are all of the cheapest quality. I wouldn't think that such cheap material would be used in a 410k home. The paint and caulk was finished extremely sloppy. I have been living in the home just over a month and i have noticed the the tubs and sinks have scratches, I have found chips in counter tops, areas of exterior brick work missing mortar. This home was just thrown together by the cheapest bid winner. I researched some contractors the Shea builders hire for work and some of the contractors average 2 and 3 stars with aweful reviews. I expected more but i am disappointed with my new purchase. Living in the home i am constantly finding new things that are wrong with the home. Would i ever buy another Shea home or reference anyone i know to buy a Shea home, the answer is simple NO! ... More

The painting and interior work is horrible the cabinets are weak please don’t rush your inspection cause there will be a lot of thing you notice once you settle into your home

From the day we walked into the sales office till even after we had closed and moved in....Shea homes has been the absolute best!!! The staff is over the top wonderful David and Josh are awesome!! And now, Tallifer...all are so helpful and prompt with responding to any issues. The quality of the home itself is outstanding!!! Would definitely recommend Shea Homes!!!
