1. The day if the final walk many details of the home were still not completed. Told Lennar Sales rep I wouldn't sign if House was not finished and said that I could lose the interest rate I got if I didn't sign and said I would be able to submit service requests under warranty. 2. Even though materials used seem to be better than other houses I saw, finishes were poorly made: paint on the floor, caulking, dirty bricks; connections were not properly made so that all rooms had internet. For a "Village Builder" house which has theoretically better finishes than Lennar, these details were not taken care of. 3. Grass had to be replaced the day of closing but they only changed part of it and promised they'd replace the rest if it didn't grow back. I submitted a service request and what they did is send a guy with fertilizer and asked me to wait a month to if it gets better. It's all weed and nothing is growing in the areas they didn't replace before closing. 4. Customer Care guy (the one who takes care of my warranty requests) is attentive and shows willingness to help, and has been very patient. Except for the grass, the rest of my service requests have been taken care of. If it wasn't for him, the experience would've been more stressful. 5. Since the appraisal was the same as what I paid, I guess the value for what I am paying is ok. I only wish I didn't have to be submitting service requests for that many things. A house should be completed when one sign, not with these many details to be fixed. Great builder on top of their work and the staff is on top of everything.

Not happy with several things with our new build. The sod that was laid was terrible looking when it was first laid & it has not filled in like the David Weekly home next door. The sod next to us was lush & green from the start. Finish items that were on our list to complete never got finished, trim was not installed in bathroom & several places were not caulked. Also the front of out house was not like the Bristol picture we were sold on. Would not buy another Village Builder home

The experience was not terrible at all and I would recommend village builders. Keith my sales rep was really great and responsive. When it came time to do my walk thrus and addressing concerns around the home (some was just due to lack of caring) and bringing up my concerns to Daniel, he was defensive and had an excuse for everything. I spoke to several other new home buyers who all had the same experience with him as well. With one concern he asked me “is this really important to you?”. I didn’t appreciate the way he handled our concerns. At the end of the day, it all got done but once we moved in we could see his team cut corners a lot and there were still a lot of issues. The experience was very good!

Beautiful homes with many amenities.

There were delays for several months. The quality of paint, texture was very bad. Even Lennar home inspector was surprised on the bad quality. We still see some texture patches falling.

Roni, Jamal and Brett were easy to work with and answered all my questions/concerns. Amazing company and excellent customer service.

Our sales person John was great. Lennar mortgage was awful to deal with, they absolutely did not have their act together. They didn’t listen, they made unnecessary changes to our loan causing more paperwork and potential delays only to not use the changes. They lacked a basic understanding of their job.

From the beginning to the final purchase they make the process very smooth and easy. Very helpful and great customer service. Helped in choosing the house to applying for mortgage in just a click with their own in house mortgage company at a rate that market cannot compete with.

It was a positive buying experience with Laura, is remarkable how she spends time with you to go though every little detail about buying the house we chose, so easy and professional, w definitely would buy a house again with Lennar Village Builders and their staff

We thought our home selection and building process would be a wonderful experience. However, this process has been disappointing from the start. Since we have never had a home built before, we were excited to be able to select options to get just what we wanted. Along the way we encountered challenges such as delay's, closing date pushed back, delay in Lennar financing (while an increase in interest rates), wrong items such as faucet fixtures, door handles, etc. that were installed in the home. Needless to say, things were rushed at closing (late November) and we are still having to deal with issues that should have been done right or fixed right the first time. We have a laundry list of issues that are still going to take time to fix. During the build we pointed out multiple issues and were told, "don't worry, it will all be fixed by the time you move in." All people we worked with showed real concern and interest in our being happy with our purchase. Laura responded honestly and professionally to our requests. Maina (sp? sorry) was VERY good with making sure we were pleased with the outcome of the home. Caesar, was super nice and I believe tried to help as much as possible. Everything UP TO the final walk was awesome. Then, we sign the papers, and make the payment and the house was a mess when we moved in. The tile person did not repair as expected and left a lot of dirt on the walls and did poor work with the repairs. I can not believe that this could have been as bad as it was. Really disappointed with that. The house in general was dirty. Windows, floor, carpet all dirty. Then the painter, that came in fixed the issues, but left spots all over the floor where he was working. In every spot. I wish that this part of the sale went as well and it really makes me concerned about pulling the workers back into my house as I don't want other issues. Caesar was very professional and helpful, but unfortunately, sometimes your contractors can really snowball that great service. I do love our home, but at any price point in a home, I really wished that the final part of the process was shown some pride in workmanship I am hopeful that there is a turnaround of our views after we have warranty work done. Good service, some overlooked details but overall good experience.

Ever since I had moved in, I have had issues with the drainage and the grading of the lot. I have communicated this issue with the warranty representative and the warranty representative manager. They only address this issue by putting a band aid on it and not fixing the problem. The project manager installed a retention wall that does not extend all the way down the side of the backyard like it is designed to do. When I asked why it was not done properly, the response was “I don’t know”. I then inquired on getting the wall done properly I was told no! They will not do that. Their only response to the issue was more drains. There are more issues involved, however I will not be long winded about it on this platform. I’m saving that for my attorney. I’m not a satisfied customer and I will NOT recommend Village Builders to anyone. I feel like once village Builder got their money they are done with me. It is disheartening to know they treat their customers like this. I have never heard any complaints from the other builders in this community. ... More

Was a smooth experience and quality build

Village builders construction is great. Buying a great home in the middle of the city is a great experience and worth every penny. Sales person is job centric and doesn't get attached to customer. Support is good. You do get response and fixes. Living here, we didn't have any complaints and been a happy family

I love the neighborhood the area is very clean and it’s very calm

Overall, the quality of workmanship left a lot to be desired. We were very disappointed in the quality and are still having to have things repaired that should’ve been fixed in the initial walk through.

Poor quality workmanship. Seems like no one cares about doing quality work or attention to detail. They just slap it together and don't even try to make sure it's done properly. Basically, they hope you don't notice the poor quality and multitude of mistakes at the walk through so you will just sign off on it. White hinges-not sure if the lazy painters just painted over them but that's not what we paid for. Whoever installs the doors is incompetent. Not one door in the house is hung properly. Nearly every hinge was not morticed properly. Looks like a 10 year old did it. Well, many things in the house look like unskilled labor did it. And be careful about asking them to come fix something they did wrong in the first place because there is a good likelihood that they will not do a good job or end up making things worse. So I am to the point that if I can do it myself, even though it's a warranty item, I will choose not to call them and do it on my own. I will say that Lennar does at least respond fairly quickly if you have a problem. Very disappointed to say the least. Too bad because I was excited about the house initially. ... More

We overall had a great experience. Loved working work John and Stephen. We loved selections on the interior design. Loved working with Brent and Jaamal. Some items needed to be fixed but we put in a ticket and it's literally fixed the next day or someone gets on it the same day.

Builder will ask you to close even Unfinished home. And later we have to run behind them to make the work done. And warranty team response is almost zero. They come visit and goes away. Never fixes the problem.

I always had a fear that I won’t get the house. Once I got the house many things are not wee done for the price I paid for the house. I find deficiencies every day.

My home buying experience was great. The later process of the contractor coming to correct issues in the home has been horrible. The liaison that are in charge of scheduling, have not been consistent with making sure that the jobs are completed are done properly. There are still areas where contractors have replaced framing on a door, and the painters, which were scheduled to following the framing process have yet to show up. We should be enjoying the home but, the is has been a lack luster experience thus far. Not pleased with this process at all!!!

As much as we loved the neighborhood and floor plan, quality is 0 compared to other houses we built. constant problems that couldn't be fixed from 2+ attempts, just terrible quality and 3rd class craftsmanship, but they will call you 100 times to ask you how was it...waste of money
