Little things missed or taken for use on another house involve consistent and constant reminders until run out of time. And everything has to go through an on line manner. Personal contact is never enough

Let me start by saying we love the design and floor plan of our home. We are extremely happy with the home as far as it meeting our needs. However, it is highly apparent that the emphasis during construction is speed and not accuracy. While on vacation over the summer our breaker panel went out resulting in a complete loss in home power. The entire breaker panel and refrigerator had to be replaced because of this issue. Multiple small plumbing leaks We are missing one of the decorative box beams in the dining room. We have asked about resolution to this issue but have not received a response in a month. Leaking Master Bedroom sink and toilet- still waiting to be resolved Drainage issues- our side yard remains consistently wet. As I mentioned above, we love our home. The experience on the workmanship regarding interior painting, caulking and cabinetry has been a very bad experience for us. One of the laborers (paint) said since they did not make much money, therefore, they really didn't try very hard to do a good job. We needed them to come back too often because they would not pick-up all the touch ups or the caulking that was needed. Both Village Builders homes we purchased had they same issue including the cabinetry. They were delivered damaged or damaged when unloading or installed. We are happy with the floor plans and exterior design. Very helpful in the process, great quality home

Quality of workmanship - Installed a 220 outlet for a range, in laundry room. Had to $100 to have it changed to dryer 220 (leaving on trip and needed dryer Lennar said they would have someone within a week). The wood rails on back deck - needed sanding - used some wood with big chucks missing on side rails.

- Financing process was tedious but finally it worked out fine. - calling for repairs is very slow and challenging process.

Responsiveness to certain issues is very slow

I recently purchased a new home, the experience was ok but the quality of work and materials is not okay. They give the most basic material with the lowest quality. You also have to purchase gutters, blinds, rods etc. I keep getting air pockets in my concrete and I just moved in. For the amount of money spent the home should come with more and have better materials used.

Overall, the layout and design of the house are quite good. However, the materials used are noticeably cheap, and the subcontractors appear to be the most budget-friendly available. It's essentially a minimum-standard home from a high-volume builder. The landscaping company was by far the worst. They left trash around the house, and the sod installation was poorly done—uneven, patchy, and bumpy. It’s honestly embarrassing compared to homes by other builders in the same community, like Perry Homes and Coventry. I would have gladly paid tens of thousands more for a house built with higher standards, better materials, and greater attention to detail. Lennar’s current strategy of prioritizing cheap, high-volume builds may boost short-term numbers, but it risks damaging the brand in the long run. ... More

The designer who did the electric switch and plug layout needs to go back to school I find switches behind doors when open you have to close door turn on or off the switch ..outlets are far too few like zero on the kitchen island and 2 over the kitchen counter you must be joking 2 outlets a grand total of 4 places to plug anything in for a modern kitchen

When we purchased our home there were damaged sections of drywall. This was brought to the builders attention and they “repaired” it. Once the first rain storm arrived after moving in it was apparent why there was damage in the first place. The large windows leak to the interior of the home. This has been reported to be warranty repairs as brand new windows should not be leaking. A window repairman with the warranty company came out and told us it wasn’t the window, but instead the improperly installed flashing above the window. He left shortly after. Next the drywall repairman came, cut the mildewing sections of drywall out, tore out soggy insulation, and left by supervisors order because repairing the drywall without fixing the windows first would just repeat the problem. You get very basic house with very bare minimum quality and features. Internal layout and not-so-practical design shows inexperience of designers. Sales associates won't even tell you about the house, probably they know nothing to tell. If you are first time homebuyer, you will have lot of surprises.

There were delays for several months. The quality of paint, texture was very bad. Even Lennar home inspector was surprised on the bad quality. We still see some texture patches falling.

Overall, the quality of workmanship left a lot to be desired. We were very disappointed in the quality and are still having to have things repaired that should’ve been fixed in the initial walk through.

As much as we loved the neighborhood and floor plan, quality is 0 compared to other houses we built. constant problems that couldn't be fixed from 2+ attempts, just terrible quality and 3rd class craftsmanship, but they will call you 100 times to ask you how was it...waste of money

The overall buying experience was not very good. The quality of the home was really lacking in many areas. It seems like no one takes pride in their workmanship. The closing process was a big problem and both the title company and mortgage company do not work together very well.

It was a bumpy road, not because of delays (expected) but because poor workmanship that had to be either accepted or resolved after closing. Items that were supposed to be remedied before closing were not and are still being fixed. Communication during the build was also spotty, which only added unnecessary angst to an already stressful project.

Poor workmanship throughout the entire home.

We have built 3 other new homes so we have alot to compare against. This was an average experience with an average quality home/builder. Likely would not contract with them again, but they were only builder available in the area we wanted to be in.

The buying experience wasn’t good. Thugs were not fixed at closing and customer service rep did not respond to our issues accordingly.

Flooring was poor quality they won’t repair it. Wall repairs were not done on time.

Poor issue resolution

The quality of products and the craftsmanship needs some works and need to user higher quality of products and appliances based on the value of the house and the neighborhood. Overall, I am enjoying my new house.

Ever since I had moved in, I have had issues with the drainage and the grading of the lot. I have communicated this issue with the warranty representative and the warranty representative manager. They only address this issue by putting a band aid on it and not fixing the problem. The project manager installed a retention wall that does not extend all the way down the side of the backyard like it is designed to do. When I asked why it was not done properly, the response was “I don’t know”. I then inquired on getting the wall done properly I was told no! They will not do that. Their only response to the issue was more drains. There are more issues involved, however I will not be long winded about it on this platform. I’m saving that for my attorney. I’m not a satisfied customer and I will NOT recommend Village Builders to anyone. I feel like once village Builder got their money they are done with me. It is disheartening to know they treat their customers like this. I have never heard any complaints from the other builders in this community. ... More
