Took 15 months instead of 9 on a cash close due to multiple failed inspections and they skipped our lot and worked on others who paid after us. Poor workmanship and now we are dealing with multiple electrical, hvac and cosmetic issues that are being resolved but at a huge inconvenience now that we have moved in. Customer service is good to address those issues after the fact. All of them could have been prevented if done properly during construction.

Workmanship extremely poor for a high end house paint, plaster, baseboards, doors roof, garage lanau….you name it it had issues. Tons of punch list items unresolved at closing but forced to close. Scott L was great but he left the company. Dana B is great but overwhelmed by the quality issues. Poor guy is a saint and doing the best he can but the quality of work was so poor he is swamped. Communication completely nonexistent once Scott left. Peter W and the Loan team were helpful but very ridged. We should have been offer a boat slip but we’re not. I've been selling homes since 2002 I've never had a builder try to tun over a home as complete / ready to occupy, in as bad and unfinished condition as this WCI / Lennar home in Sanctuary Cove. Quality of workmanship is poor. Virtually every item completed looks like it's been done by someone with no construction experience.

After months of delays, enduring my 1st hurricane (Ian), we finally arrive at closing day! I traveled 3 hours in 2 separate cars with 2 dogs in tow. I arrive at my new home after living in Airbnbs for months. I’m ecstatic and ready to be home!! Upon arrival I see that not much progress had been made since my initial walkthrough. The LENNAR representative then informed me that corporate will not allow him to close on any house that has a punch list!! My initial walkthrough produced about 90 items on my lunch list. LENNAR rep and LENNAR building supervisor promise me that they will take care of the issues offline. To close, I was asked to sign-off on all of the punch list items. I was so worn down, tired of moving Airbnb to Airbnb, (not to mention that I didn’t have anywhere to stay that evening + 2 dogs + no vacancies due to hurricane Ian), so I agreed to sign-off. LENNAR kept their word for literally 2 business days. Then no response. I’ve been in my home for 1.5 months now. I still have plenty of items that need to be addressed. Not to mention the house was still in construction mode and filthy dirty upon closing! THIS WAS THE WORST NEW BUILD EXPERIENCE! I’m very surprised that corporate believes that 90+ items were corrected in less that 2 weeks during hurricane Ian. Contractors that WCI uses are not concerned with quality. The contractors want to do a fast job and collect their money.

Title department doesn’t communicate with construction, kept trying to set up a closing when house wasn’t complete. Finally they insisted we close, even though we had an oven in the middle of the floor and no shower wall.

We moved in almost 2 months ago with a long punch list from the walk through. Very few things on the list have been taken care of. and we have no idea when they will be taken care of. This is not our 1st house, but it is our first WCI house. We will never buy another WCI house again.

Very disappointed in the experience of buying our new home. The commutation was packing and phone calls not returned. There are still issues with the house that should have been fixed before closing.

I will never purchase or recommend this company to anyone!

Understood delays as everyone has been experiencing them but Lennar had no clue when anything was going to be done and never inspected contractors work which was shabby, incomplete, incorrect and filthy conditions left untouched or addressed by builder. We closed with "exceptions" so Lennar could make their end of year goals but the home didn't even have shower enclosures until 2 weeks ago and even those are wrong. From appliances not installed correctly to quartz countertops with faucets off center by 2" to no screens, gutters, towel racks, and outright FILTH it will blow your mind. The amount of mistakes by the workers either meant they didn’t know what they were doing or were rushing and didn’t care about mistakes. The contractor has tried his best to remedy the issues but is overwhelmed with all the new build errors. After a 1.5 months still have workers coming to fix things

Very good materials and appliances/equipment quality, sub-standard workmanship with obvious issues that should have been identified by the builder during construction; most issues were addressed, few still open after 5 months. Also, upon closing/delivery, house was NOT clean and move in ready.

All warranty issue we had were addressed fast except cabinets ( kitchen and bathroom) . Is been taking forever! But the worst is, we are not requesting them to “fix” we are requesting to complete their job.

Read your contracts carefully.

Workers do not respect the homeowner or their other trades people. I had mirrors installed over exposed holes in the wall and a broken window from next door build.

The home design and concepts are awesome, but the subcontractors performance is not supervised properly, thus the workmanship and end product turns out to be average at best. Issues are not addressed during production in a timely manner and resolution of problems becomes more complex than needed.

Mass production builder with no interest in delivering product as specified and no interest in making corrections. Missing equipment, broken doors, etc. No response to service requests..

Love the home location, neighborhood, and design. Quality of materials and workmanship lower than expected for home on this price range. Good responsiveness on issues

Nice community, terrible builder, would not recommend at all. They refuse to stand behind their work. Every warranty claim is denied as cosmetic

Lennar builders were not responsive to us, prior to closing, and then pushed our closing when the house wasn't completed. We love our house, just not their business practices.

We experienced a very trying home build process that was over two months late and had significant challenges with quality workmanship. WCI/Lennar was difficult to work with during the process since they don't really want home owners around during the process. They are a production builder and prefer to have buyers purchase the home from them once complete. Our salesman was great but had little control during the build process.

Through, responsive, informative, timely - ease

Building materials extremely poor quality: Sherwin Williams Paint: Final product isn't even of "primer" quality. All walls are not washable or scrubbable so they all need to be redone with high quality paint. Sherwin Williams paint stores said "Yeah that's our cheapest product". "Our exterior paint only lasts five years". Windows: Lawson brand: many issues. Their rep came out to fix issues and said "the windows you have are our cheapest we make". Cabinets: Very poor quality. Their rep who came out for an issue said "this is the same product you can get at Home Depot, just under a different label". Pool: Extremely poor quality. After two months the finish was cracked and pitted. The whole pool had to be drained and resurfaced Walls: No insulation in the walls. Not soundproof. Can hear everything from room to room No attention to detail: Whole project is rushed. Many, many issues throughout. Shower water line had hole in it that slowly leaked over time and flooded the bedroom. It was from the sheet rock contractor who put a screw through the line upon installation. The contractors are hard working but no attention to detail. Upon repairs under the "one year warranty", the contractors who repair an issue, make additional problems upon completion of their work. Was told by one of the renovation teams "Lennar has so many houses with roof issues from leaking, sure I will be seeing you during hurricane season". Frightening! Unfortunately the Lennar houses are rushed with low quality materials, no attention to detail and many issues. Would definitely not recommend ... More

I am generally more than satisfied with my condo and the amenities provided. The Builder is responsive when it comes to warranty work although you may need more than ordinary construction knowledge to get certain repairs completed properly. If I had one beef it is the Contracts, at least in Florida, are written entirely in favor of the Builder with the consumer having little right. The closing date set by the Builder will be adhered to even if your home is not fully completed and you do not have enough time to walk through and get repairs done before hand. Lennar will address your complaints, even after the closing, but when there are a number of major items that have to be fixed the buyer should have the right to delay the closing. Its amazing that we have some many rights when it comes to any other types of purchases or contracts that the Builders have been able to write their own contracts. This is not just Lennar issue but all major Builders. The contracts are for their benefit not the consumers. Blame your politicians. I am not trying to be ambiguous but I love my condo and all parts and would not hesitate to purchase a Lennar home in the future. The quality of workmanship brought all the ratings down. While our contact person has been very responsive their are way too many building issues.
