Chiding WCI Lennar was a hard decision but once made we were very excited. Unfortunately the craftsmanship was not what we expected at this price point. There should be better trades selected to build these homes or a Quality control process . Disappointed

Very nice design concepts... Poor delivery of final product

The home design and concepts are awesome, but the subcontractors performance is not supervised properly, thus the workmanship and end product turns out to be average at best. Issues are not addressed during production in a timely manner and resolution of problems becomes more complex than needed.

Most concerns with the construction and state of the home were addressed before closing, but excuses were given when we asked for other flaws to be repaired. Four months later we are seeing a lot of things needing repair (pavers in the driveway lifting, caulk needing to be redone on most cabinets, nails coming through ceiling, floors creeping, etc.) Still waiting on these repairs.

When purchasing a home through WCI, set your expectations to be treated as a transaction and not as a person. They will cut whatever corners necessary to ensure the product is done by the time they need to hit their quota numbers and then leave all corrections to warranty. As long as you are willing to take a second job as project manager and correct all the issues with your home, you will eventually get an amazing product. After months of working hard on our home, we love it and our neighborhood, so we have no regrets, but wish we had known what a terrible experience dealing with WCI as a ...

not happy with Lennar

We dealt only with Lennar and were not very happy. While the overall house is solid (we hope), much of the workmanship was below standard. Very few options were given as to the quality of the products being used. The process Lennar uses seems to be a rush job, to get as many houses up in the shortest amount of time, while paying no attention to the details. The sales representative that we worked with was not honest and did not keep us informed through the whole process. Since we have moved in the customer care rep has been very attentive.

Quality Issues

With new construction there are always going to be "issues" and that is why builders offer a warranty. No one expects to have roof leaks or water just coming through the windows but it happened. The response to these issues were good. When it comes to the finishing work it has unfortunately been poor; literally received a quote from a VP (who refuses to get on the phone) say that is "cosmetic". Yes, when your trades beat everything up that is on you and when you purchase a new home and spend $500k the customer expects things to look good and not be beaten. Builders need to be accountable ...

After months of delays, enduring my 1st hurricane (Ian), we finally arrive at closing day! I traveled 3 hours in 2 separate cars with 2 dogs in tow. I arrive at my new home after living in Airbnbs for months. I’m ecstatic and ready to be home!! Upon arrival I see that not much progress had been made since my initial walkthrough. The LENNAR representative then informed me that corporate will not allow him to close on any house that has a punch list!! My initial walkthrough produced about 90 items on my lunch list. LENNAR rep and LENNAR building supervisor promise me that they will ...

Structure is quality but the finish work is not to par. The sales associate just collects your check at the beginning and end. Non-existing the rest of the way and if you ask questions, the responses are inaccurate most of the time.

Poor communication during building process but improved after closing. Attention to detail was very lacking and organization was poor. Building process was slow and started very late which lead to builder rushing to finish home close to closing which lead to many mistakes to include structural errors, cosmetics errors and flooring issues and cabinets not completely finished until 4 months after closing. After closing staff and communication did improve .

The amount of mistakes by the workers either meant they didn’t know what they were doing or were rushing and didn’t care about mistakes. The contractor has tried his best to remedy the issues but is overwhelmed with all the new build errors. After a 1.5 months still have workers coming to fix things

There was no quality control at all while building this house. Also, there is no attention to detail whatsoever while performing the final finishes on the house. The quality of products used especially the paint is of the lowest quality possible. When I signed the contract, they told me the house was going to be built in six months but was built in less than four months. Consequently, due to the rush in building it had many issues, some issues were resolved many did not. Leaving here while construction was going on other homes has been a major nightmare. There is absolutely no Lennar ...

Alina was excellent (realtor in the neighborhood). I have purchased several new homes from large builders like John Wieland (Atlanta) and David Weekly (Dallas). One point of separation that I think WCI could improve upon is the final walk through just before closing. The cleanliness of the home and attention to all details was inferior to new homes we have purchased from similar national companies (and a custom builder in Atlanta). Aside from the Tiffany champagne glasses (thank you), the overall final walk through was mediocre and we spent the first day cleaning floors, windows, pavers, ...
