Pool is not right. Paint has drips and brushes off easily. Work incomplete and closed based on promises things would be made right. Total hassle. Not what one would expect for $2+ million House.

I've been selling homes since 2002 I've never had a builder try to tun over a home as complete / ready to occupy, in as bad and unfinished condition as this WCI / Lennar home in Sanctuary Cove. Quality of workmanship is poor. Virtually every item completed looks like it's been done by someone with no construction experience.

No communication from sales personnel to construction managers. This builder puts profit far before quality/customer service. Upon closing there were numerous construction defects due to lack of management of subcontractors. This all became listed as warranty items through the builder and thus very difficult to remedy.

Terrible experience and poor workmanship of home

We moved in almost 2 months ago with a long punch list from the walk through. Very few things on the list have been taken care of. and we have no idea when they will be taken care of. This is not our 1st house, but it is our first WCI house. We will never buy another WCI house again.

We knew about Lennar’s reputation but really wanted to live in this neighborhood. The quality of work is so poor. We’re having to have so many things re-done and we’re paying for other contractors to do the work because we have zero faith in Lennar’s abilities. I understand it’s hard to get laborers right now but that’s the job of the construction manager, to stay on top of things and make sure things are done correctly. And I’m not talking about minor repairs, they forgot a wall. A wall! Then they tried to patch it in and it looks terrible. Our paver driveway looks so bad that we had another company come out and they said the pavers are in such bad shape, they wouldn’t use them, they’ll have to redo the entire thing. When they did the garage epoxy, they WENT AROUND things that were sitting on the floor, so now we have areas with epoxy and other areas without. We have crown and baseboards that don’t line up, the drywall/painting look like a child did it. It’s beyond bad. It’s just really sad. I would be embarrassed to work for Lennar. If you must buy a Lennar home, make sure you allocate funds to fix things yourself after closing. ... More

Very disappointed in the experience of buying our new home. The commutation was packing and phone calls not returned. There are still issues with the house that should have been fixed before closing.

I will never purchase or recommend this company to anyone!

Understood delays as everyone has been experiencing them but Lennar had no clue when anything was going to be done and never inspected contractors work which was shabby, incomplete, incorrect and filthy conditions left untouched or addressed by builder. We closed with "exceptions" so Lennar could make their end of year goals but the home didn't even have shower enclosures until 2 weeks ago and even those are wrong. From appliances not installed correctly to quartz countertops with faucets off center by 2" to no screens, gutters, towel racks, and outright FILTH it will blow your mind. I would never buy again from WCI. Scott the GC is a liar. They have Bayonet in their pockets.

I personally had a terrible experience and feel that the construction is cheap and very low quality.

Several issues that are not being addressed in a timely fashion

Being a Real Estate Broker whom represent customers/clients with selling and buying pre-existing and new construction homes, I was very disappointed in the customer services provided. I was also disappointed with the cheap materials used to build the homes most importantly the workmanship. The work is not being completed by professionals. We had a total of 5-6 pre-closing walk throughs. Each walk took a minimum of two-three hours. By no means should it had taken that many walks to sign off all of the interior and exterior issues that were found. By the time we made it to the last walk through my husband and I were over it. We demanded that they get the painters, the individuals that were responsible for caulking and grouting. We had to walk them through every room pointing out what needed to be done and stand over them to make sure it was completed properly. There is no quality control. There is no one that follow up to make sure all of your concerns during your walk through were taken care off prior to scheduling your next walk through. If it was this would have made the process much smoother. I'm not sure if the problems exist because Lennar is short staffed or individuals don't care about their jobs nor the home buyers. Changes were made to our elevation/ plans that we did not agree on. We are still waiting on things to be fixed/repaired. Especially the noises that are coming from our return vents in all (5) of our bathrooms. We contacted Lennar and Lindstrom and requested this issue be resolved. Guess what, we are still waiting. If I had a place to upload photos of the workmanship that was completed on this home, I would do so. It is horrible! To purchase a new construction home and have to call someone out to correct the mistakes /issues that the builder should have taken care of is beyond ridiculous. I've purchased two new construction home in the past from GL Homes. This by far was the worst. It's all about the dollar and turn over with Lennar not the home buyers. I could go on and on. However, I'm sure nothing will change. I feel sorry for the clients/customers who are not in the real estate business and just don't know. The ones who enter the office and sign on the dotted line without representation. Lennar will get away with telling them anything. The Home specialist was misleading in the sense that she was not informed on matters pertaining to our home. When asked questions she referred us to other departments in Lennar. Our closing was greatly delayed, our exception list was not finalized, our warranty tickets stayed open for weeks before the CV19 pandemic happened, now we sit uncertainly of knowing when they will address them or if they will address our issues. Terrible experience, really. After we close we didn't receive any welcome packages nor a sign in our door to say that it was private property, which allowed every sub to come in unannounced.
