Starting in the Washington Metropolitan Area, start by taking MD-28 W to Lovettsville Rd in Loudoun County. Begin by heading west on MD-107, then turn right onto Elgin Rd. Continue as Elgin Rd turns slightly left and becomes MD-109 N/Beallsville Rd, then turn left onto MD-28 W. Stay on MD-28 W by making another left and continue until you reach US-15 S, where you'll turn left, entering Virginia.
