Brian was outstanding. I have had seven homes built during my adult years, he is by far the best person I have worked with. He tried to meet our every need or desire during the home building process. We have been totally satisfied with this entire process..except the landscaping and the finished drywall. We are taking our drywall issues to Brian. Lets just say, to make this house a true high dollar house, It needs to have sanding around almost every outlet done. Respectfully suggest that Del Webb does not hold to a Closing date when the home has many significant deficiencies. Simply push the Closing date out a week or two and explain to the Buyer that the home does not yet meet your rigid standards. I’m aware that a home is a system of many subsystems and things do go wrong, but the Buyer should not be expected to be the Builders Quality Control system. I’m deeply disappointed.

Very frustrating. Living with errors in upgrades, thinking I could adjust to those mistakes, but must say there is no adjusting to looking at wrong upgrades and having to live with mistakes. Spent too much money for upgrades and then living with design errors is too depressing.

Del Webb needs to hire professional vendors, experienced construction managers and not overload them with 35 plus houses to manage. Upper management is non responsive including the President of Pulte. The whole process needs to improve.

Don’t fall for all the marketing hype and sales pitches…your overall construction process will be an adventure! The Construction Managers (CM’s) are overwhelmed (i.e., assigned more homes than they can properly supervise) with a number of subcontractors that lack quality workmanship & supervision. Construction rules (e.g., debris pick-up, eating within homes, etc.) are completely ignored and are not enforced. Various projects within a home will be started and not finished with no common sense nor explanation. It is not uncommon for several of these projects to sit for several weeks ...

They lie to you about everything to sell you the home they change anything they want but we can’t change anything if I knew I could not screen in front porch I would not have built here the only thing good I can say is the warranty people are great

Del Webb at Viera finished our home within the original time estimate. We had a great construction manager that gave us weekly text updates with pictures. Overall quality of work was good. There were some issues that were corrected prior to closing. We have several minor warranty issues that were quickly responded to and fixed. Very pleased so far going into our second month in the home.

My how things have changed for the worse. A Del Webb home is no different from any of their other divisions or their competitors. The overall quality of our home is borderline atrocious. Mounding isn’t properly cut and fitted, tile work is slightly better. Wall texture is totally inconsistent. No amount of caulking, which is improperly used everywhere helps. Landscaping is as poor of quantity as one can get away with. Everyone who works for this builder has a lane, and in it they stay. Nothing with this build happened on time. Was told many things that later discovered untrue. 1) elevation and color of house: couldn’t pick what I wanted because had to “space those elevations and colors” on street. However, I see multiple houses in a row with same elevation and colors. From a rude and condescending salesperson to an inexperienced construction manager, nothing about this build was easy. I really like my home, but the process was very stressful and unpleasant. Sales person was hardly ever available and lacked interest in helping or answering questions. She was not available for any appointments scheduled with builder. The day of the closing I had to ask the builder if he could call her so that she could join us to be part of the last walk thru. A Very Frustrating Home Buying Experience

There were issues before closing that were not resolved and closing was delayed causing my belongings to be moved again into storage. The quality of workmanship was poor - paint on the floor and on the windows, exterior and interior doors out of line, sloppy paint job. The construction manager tried his best to resolve all the issues but with his other workload, it was overwhelming. It has been more than a month since closing and all issues are still not resolved.
