Disappointed... My first home buying.

My home-buying experience was not pleasant at all. Renee R who was in charge of closing was unprofessional and unresponsive. It was to the point where she was arguing with me in front of one of the other managers when I made the complaint. I am still missing pieces from the fixtures in my home and they did a poor job cleaning it. I did not enjoy my home-buying experience. The sale rep & loan part was great 5 stars. The problem comes in with walkthrough and after closing with issues. I suggest you record the walkthrough and catch everything cause everything isn’t written down they say on I can fix it now and will tell you that outlet works on finial walkthrough but it doesn’t and you call New home rep and never get response

Communication from Lennar about my closing date and move-in date was horrible. Statements and representations made by Lennar, as well as information contained in official documents memorializing my home purchase were inconsistent from the eventual closing date provided to me. There was no transparency. I was only given 7 days advanced notice that my closing date had changed. Settlement date delayed twice, including Friday 8PM phone call that Monday settlement will be delayed. Things that should be fixed after New Home Orientation were not done,l. New home but l Pros: Very nice community and responsiveness of construction management to the issue. In general feels like there is minimum attention paid to overall look and feel of a new home. Every crew was responsible for something leaving mess behind and there was no control over it. As we life here over 45 days now, we are still find new things that should have been caught and fixed before by managers.

My experience with the property manager of my new development was not a pleasant one. I was unable to reach him most of the time and when I did he was very short with me as if I was inconveniencing him with my questions. I also experienced a huge delay in my closing time which was due to covid but when I did close one of the window fixtures had still not been put on the home and is currently still missing. My Lennar loan officer on the other hand was amazing and provided me with all the information I needed and the construction team has also been very responsive.

The hard wood floors are not installed properly between the doors, some of the carpet in some of the rooms have lumps, front outside water faucet noisy when running, and still waiting on the back door screen door

This was a terrible experience and the home was not built well. Still dealing with issues. I would not recommend this builder at all. The quality of work, lack of follow-up for the builders and lack of professionalism/courtesy of Lennar Title.

The experience has been less than stellar. Apparently, I can't mention those things as my last review could not be posted. Things I'm happy with: Appliances, size of bedroom, open floor plan, the people who were helpful during this process. This was my first home I have ever purchased and Lennar homes absolutely ruin my experience. First, the sales rep I worked with (Amber) needs to find a new line work. While my home was under construction, I would periodically reach out to her with questions and at first I thought maybe she was just having a bad day based on the attitude I got however, it became a re-occuring issue and I realized she was just a completely rude and nasty person. Was Not a Warm Welcome, treat like I was not a person or my wife as if you don’t care. Everyone room was decorated but we was put in a plain room with the notary and had to yell to Lennar person across from the room if we need questions answered so unprofessional all the way even when key was put on table not out hand so wrong in so many way not even a picture like the other people was doing and ringing a bell . Plus the Townhouse was not clean did not do what we ask on list so rude.

Truth be told I went with Lennar because of all of the in-home design options they offered. After touring the staged homes, it took 3 attempts at getting a home because Lennar's internet sales team and new home sales team were not in sync on new customer appointments, therefore they were selling homes to people who did not have an appointment, even though I scheduled an appointment twice with them . We are very happy with our place, however I am going to leave very honest feedback with the hopes that things are improved for our future neighbors! The appliances, materials, and equipment are all high end and good build quality, but the finish appeared sloppy and in our opinion did not meet the standard. There were several challenges from the very beginning and it took 2 years for Lennar to deliver our home. I can understand that there was a county approval delay and supply chain issues but we didn't have enough transparency through out the process and were left hanging. There were items like soft close toilets mentioned in the data sheet but was not provided and when asked they said they had the right to change and it was a misprint.
