Dishonest on rates for a home loan

I was suppose to get a 3.99 % fixed rate which t the builder did not honor it was very dishonest, did not honor and give me the home loan rate as promised at the time of purchase ?

My experience started with my saies person. He was not helpful with information I should have been told in purchasing my home. Then to the design department. I asked for some upgrades that she did not list and I missed due to the complication of the forms.. Then to poor construction concrete, drywall, etc. Then to first inspection contractor did go over electrical. Then to closing was was scheduled for 9-30-22, then 10-12-22, then 10-25-22, then 11-8-22, then 11-30-22 and finally 12-2-22. Not once did my sales person contact me with the changes. Watch out - poor quality and service

The delays in construction were excusable given the pandemic. The quality of construction is poor to awful. The service to fix problems is non existent. During the final inspection several problems were identified that are impossible to get fixed. The paint used in the house is of poor quality and the paint job is appalling. All upgrades make this new house livable but not worth the added cost. I would never recommend Del Webb construction to anyone.

Unfortunately having to constantly monitor construction due to mistakes, poor workmanship…I’m still having to constantly up to try to get punch list items finished. I get no response for the construction manager.

A very poor customer experience during and after the build process. I have advised several friends of mine who were considering buying here not to due to the issues.

Having purchased a number of new homes over the years, I was extremely disappointed with the build quality of this new home. It would appear that the sub-contractors, were in a hurry to complete their part of the construction. I am also surprised that the builders walk through did not identify a number of issues.

Worst home buying experience

No home should ever be delivered the way this was terrible customer service and no attention to detail. I still have many issues and left with a whirlpool refrigerator that I asked to be replaced due to noise level and was told to pound sand. I will be submitting this to small claims. How about some customer service what ever happen to that.

Horrible Quality, no QC when they turnover the house. Need to call them for fix but takes forever to respond and address the issue.

The entire experience from sales, escrow and finished product was extremely frustrating. I feel that no one properly explained many things to me. I also feel that the quality of my home, both the construction and the designer options, do not meet my expectations. I feel I overpaid for my home.

One would expect to have a good experience with a new home, but we've had a nightmare with Pulte. Our house post-tension slab had large holes (24"x10" broken completely through do to mis-laying out plumbing and not refilled with concrete under tub and shower, floor baseboards were mismatched with different two sizes and styles, the doors were not prepped before painting and have edges sharp enough to draw blood, we've had 100+ broken roof tiles replaced, several water leaks in stucco and shower, the upgraded insulated garage door is not installed with no refund, painting around windows has ...

Despite the beautiful location, be prepared to deal with lack of transparency and “bait and switch” pricing; base price (shell); lot size, location, and pricey upgrades (ceiling lighting; wall outlets; “finger pointing” regarding shoddy construction, poor quality, or defective doors, and high-end appliances. Challenges in reaching Customer Service, and lack of response. Be your own Advocate!

Order of events: 1. Move in day: the air conditioner no longer worked. A compressor was defective. Hum, an omen of things to follow? 2. Three days later the air is fixed, but a wind storm came up and half the house lost power. Why did a breaker switch turn off? 3. After living in the home a few days there were a number of issues with the painting...it was a mess. A month later, we're still working on having that addressed. Also, there is and still is paint splashed all over the brick work. Sloppy? Perhaps...thank goodness I didn't paint it for I'm sure it would have been worse since ...

Del Webb utilizes inexpensive finishes. Quality of build comparable to spec home. Home build time rushed. Communication horrible. Lack of follow through or don’t respond at all to questions regarding home - community. Upgrade charges inflated. Upgraded master shower and secondary bath shower, at almost same upgrade charge. Secondary bath half the size and half the material, did not get what we paid for. Shower head second bath not even mounted on tile surface, instead mounted to drywall.
