Our experience was less than expected from the financing, title and the HOA with whom Pulte has contracted . There is little to no response on most items. The only people who have been responsive and supportive are James and Tyler from the building team. They are great.

This was a fail. The buying experience was not what we expected. The option prices at the design center were 25-30% higher than the options price sheet from the sales office. This was very disaappointing considering the price sheet was printed 5 weeks before our appointment with the design center. We had to scramble to revise most of our carefully pre-selected options on the spot as each one was itemized for us. We can tell this didn’t bode well with the consultant who looked irked from the start. Post sale experience is regrettable too. Good luck with trying to contact the warranty center. ...

If you are not an advocate Pulte will try and pull things over on you to meet their deadlines etc. great neighborhood but house quality and transparency by pulte is poor

We had a great initial experience while at the model home and home design process. There were minor issues which were easily resolved. Towards the end things went poorly. It was obvious there were milestones that needed to be met even if standards would be sacrificed. We ended doing our final walkthrough with the home being unfinished. There were literally walls that were unpainted and holes. When we closed there were actually still open holes with exposed electrical pieces. I received many apologies and excuses. Paid $1.4M for a home that has a laundry list of issues where you can tell the workers didn’t care. Damages all over that instead of being fixed, were painted over. Requested the repairs and the repair work doesn’t fix the problem.

Extremely disappointed in the quality of workmanship. I wasn't expecting this type of experience because of how highly Pulte is recommended and for the price that was paid for the home. Some of the issues were being addressed right away but then everything stopped when I was transferred to a different point of contact. I had to go through the whole process all over again with some items. Other items the different trades had to be scheduled weeks later to see what needs to be done. It’s usually the “unresolved” issues that get magnified and thus ruin a good rating. I specified during the design phase that I would be needing grab bars in the shower and paid for it. During delivery I was told that the installation of grab bars was not specified in any work order. Then when I pointed it out in one of the printed out work orders, I was told that they only do the backing. In the mean time, 7 days into occupying the house, I slipped and fell in the shower and ended up with a 5-stitches laceration in the arm. I would never purchase from Pulte again. They are disorganized from the beginning until the end. In addition, communication is lacking with with homebuyers. We were delayed by almost 4 months and not once did someone reach out to provide that status. Mid-way through, we were told our paint selections would only be available in flat paint due to supply chain. I spoke to the local Sherwin Williams store and they had no problem securing the exact same in eggshell and semi-gloss. Do not assume that everything that is installed is done correctly. Make sure that you inspect everything before you close and have all the information that you need, Some things that you find were done incorrectly after closing, you may have to fix yourself. We found some damaged wall tiles, missing tiles, outdoor paint chipped, ceiling speakers not connected, extra electrical switches that arent connect, after we moved in and were left with resolving the issues.

After the purchase, service is terrible

The sales force is wonderful. In general, the home is beautiful. However, after moving in, we saw many, many small issues and a couple not so small. The most important one's are tile poorly installed in the foyer and edges on the corners of the kitchen island that were not finished off and are very, sharp posing a cutting hazard as you walk by. Repeated requests for assistance go unanswered by the Pulte Warranty office.

We had issues from the get go with the Design Center to the Project Manager to Pulte Management. Every little thing was answered with "no, we can't do that", or "we're not a custom home builder." The Design Center was limited on some items and everything that was "included" was old school, old colors, or discontinued. There was one tile included for the floors and bathroom tile; it was beige. The quality and workmanship of our home is very disappointing. We spent over $200K in premium overpriced options and the final finish quality was not what were told by Pulte at time of purchase. We should have never accepted our home on December 31st until it was 100% completed. We’ve now been in our home for almost six weeks and other then Pulte repairing all of the electrical outlets that did not work in the café and owner suite bedroom, they have yet to complete any the other repairs from our initial walkthrough, nor will they acknowledge or respond to our follow up emails.
