I would never recommend Pulte as a builder. The quality for the price was not good. The follow through with construction issues was poor. I was asked to say that the home was complete at closing, even though it was not complete. The house is not complete as of 10/22 and we closed on 8/10.

Issues slow to be addressed

Try to hold off on filling out the survey until all major items with your house have been addressed. While we do love our home and the neighborhood I feel the quality of the house is low compared to what I've had in the past (2 custom-built homes). We had to elevate our issues and they seem to be a bit more focused on getting items fixed. There is just not a lot of attention to detail, and while they use name brands ie Kohler it is really the low end of the brand.

Quality and workmanship is absolutely awful. Huge lack of pride in workmanship, interior finishes and if their clients are taken care of. The construction crews are some of the worst in the business.

Our bathroom tiles were so bad that it took seven times to fix. Sometimes they just wouldn't show up and other times didn't have proper tools (had to use ours)!! Very disappointed that builder contractors and reps. made us promises that were forgotten.

Not to impress!

At the beginning we were excited and confident. During the meeting at Design Center we realized some loopholes in the process. Complete misinformed and disappointed during the building process. The quality of painting, floor, garage door and others are very low. The team from Design Center do a poor job. Many things are not fixed after signing the closing documents. Very disappointed.

Got keys to a new house with many issues

I walked in to my new house for the first time to find dust everywhere, paint everywhere, need for touch ups everywhere and many issues that even now after a month and half have NOT gotten fixed. Extremely dissatisfied. :(

Floors were chipped, caulking is horrid, walls need a lot of help, grass and plants are cheap. Materials are not the best.

Some of the sixteen problems we reported with our brand new home included an improperly-installed dishwasher that leaks every time we use it, a clogged shower drain, a broken door lock, a scratched refrigerator with non-functional ice maker, a defective water softener, two worker-stained carpets, and just discovered—“marble” kitchen counters that change color in response to becoming wet. Several of these have been fixed to our satisfaction, but some we’re still waiting for action on.

Quality of workmanship in various trades that Pulte Homes is using is severely lacking, not only in my new home but seems to be consistent with many neighbors I have spoken to. Hard to notice every little thing or detail on final walk through. Even after some of the corrections are made, they are still deficient in quality work. Either Pulte is hiring subcontractors that do not have extensive home building trade experience or their subcontractors are not utilizing experienced people that take pride in their work. PROBLEMS AT SOUTHERN SPRINGS

During final inspection it was noted that our irrigation system extends some 8 feet off of our property onto an adjacent 20 foot storm drain easement. Staff had two men come to "fix it". They took 2 to 3 minutes and said it was taken care of. THEY DID NOT CUT AND PLUG OUR SYSTEM. THE 10 HEADS ARE STILL CONNECTED TO OUR SYSTEM AND STILL ACTIVE. That portion of our system needs to be cut and plugged. The 20 foot storm drain easement adjacent to our property has NOT had sod placed on it. There is no ceiling light in the flex room/library. After living in my Pulte home for a few weeks, I am seeing multiple problems as a result from poor workmanship and multiple cosmetic issues needing attention. I moved here from a Pulte home that was constructed well. After this recent move, I would NOT recommend Pulte to friends and family. Stone Creek Home Disappointment

I am truly disappointed in the workmanship if our home and would never recommend a friend after seeing the finished product. It is amazing that they can make the models look so good and then give customers sub standard quality. We paid a lot of money for our home. Very disappointing. Our salesperson was very helpful and our field manager did what they were allowed to do but their hands were tied as far as who the company hired for subs and the materials used. This is the fifth home that we have had built for us and probably ranks very low for quality for price paid.

Workers don’t take pride in workmanship

We were told thinks by the salesperson that were not true Workers only care to check off their job. They would paint over anything just to check off their job. We still have crooked walls, bad sparkling, would floors that have many lose areas. There would have been many more thinks wrong if I did not throw a fit before we move in

Have been very disappointed in quality & customer service. This is the fifth new home experience we’ve had and definitely the most disappointing. The most disappointing about the Del Webb community is Pulte and the lack of updated choices in the design center for the Garden series homes. The choices are very limited and color choices are outdated. To get up to date choices, you must upgrade to the highest level and pay ridiculous prices and the quality is poor. Get everything in writing as promises may not be kept. And go to the design center prior to signing a contract if they let you. Problems after move in

Right after move we found 1. front door lock was broken, 2. Furnace was not connected to gas pipe - heat was not working, found millions of ants that was eradicated at my expense, garage door was not going down - fixed at my expense, found spilled concrete on front hallway, entire driveway was not forced sprayed (clean) as others, found front lawn in very dried state including small tree was dying - very few leaves also the rest of grass around the house was very dried and brown. Workmanship is below average. Warranty is the worst I have experienced among builders. Submitted several warranty requests and received either no response at all or a very slow response. WIll no choose Pulte again. Title company that represents Pulte Homes in Orlando had incompetent individuals who were not even able to answer questions the legal description. In fact, they recorded several deeds with incorrect legal and had to file for corrective deed later on.

We were not included in their “Celebration Walk-Through”. This is a walk-through prior to closing that should occur. In our case, just the construction supervisor and the warranty company rep performed the walk-through. So, there have been “punch-list” items that are becoming apparent as we live in the home.
