Pulte doesn't care about the quality of their product.

Floor plans are locked with little flexibility to changes other than what is already presented on the option sheet. You also may be asked to close on a house that is not 100% finished with a promise that it will be finished.

For me, it came down to the competence, trustworthiness and responsiveness of the Field Supervisor. Joed was assigned to my project late in the process and he made all the difference. He communicated regularly about issues, updates, and made me comfortable and informed about the build process. That hadn't happened prior.

We felt really good when we signed, but once building was started the work was rushed and we felt like we were nagging when we pointed out issues. Now that we're in the house we keep finding things that annoy us. Such as the slightest finger touching a wall will leave a mark because they used very cheap, flat paint.

Both Sales Agent and Field Manager were very responsive to questions and concerns. Calls were returned promptly and property was available when I needed access to meet with decorators. The field manager was amazing to work with; he kept his word and delivered on his promise. He seemed to care about the Pulte name and brand; ensured that constructions and inspections issues were addressed satisfactorily; and permits and certificate of occupancy documents were in order prior to closing. Workmanship, on the other hand, was lacking. As an example, owners are admonished to have a whole house humidifier. Yet none of the prep work was done for the installation. So, it will be more costly, time consuming and inconvenient to install one. Manufacturer's grade products are likely not the best. My furnace is so loud, I feel like I'm sleeping under the motor of a running train in Grand Central Station. I could go on ad nauseum with complaints. Great home buying experience and the field manager David in Houston TX is fantastic! Very knowledgeable and if he doesn’t know he gets an answer for you very quick. Quality of home is great and very good to work with. Made our first time home buying experience fantastic!

Exceptional location close to everything being built in Westfield. Down the road from Grand Park and IN 32 and US 31! We love our townhome and can see us staying while the community continues to grow. With it being a BRAND NEW community, there are always kinks that have to be worked out. We were one of the very first buyers and experienced some hiccups. The sales and construction team have handled accordingly and made sure things were right. Mikel is great at following up and being responsive on issues or questions during and after the process. I had great expectations for Pulte when I signed the purchase agreement. The property is in an affluent neighborhood and I paid premium dollars for it. My experience leading up to signing the purchase agreement was great. Their mortgage team was also great. This wasn't my first new construction. My last was several years ago with a builder in a similar area. My overall experience back then was way better than my current experience with Pulte. The construction was poorly supervised and had problems ranging from poor interior finishings to structural problems. These issues were uncovered by my independent inspector. I understand home buyers typically close with a few minor weather items, I closed with more than a few of them trusting Pulte to address them swiftly. The customer experience of getting them to fix these issues couldn't be worst. They wouldn't pick up or return my calls after the initial reporting. Wonderful experience. Sales Rep Cam was top notch. And the contractor Chris was great as well. If there were issues Chris worked to make those issues up to us.

overall a negative experience, home has major workmanship issues, i was told to just sign the paperwork and once the house is closed on, we will then fix the issues,

Pulte was there every step of the way. They have specialist in all areas that really know their stuff. I would recommend Pulte to anyone. We are so in love with our new home and neighborhood.

Do your homework. Pay attention. Ask questions. Don't expect honesty, demand it. Follow up if something is not correct. Elevate issues immediately. Give yourself at least 30 days to be in your new home prior to providing a home builder rating.

The sales is great. The salesman is willing to help all the time and all the ways. If there are ten stars, I will give ten. The contract didn’t update correctly after the interior design. Some items’ name are different between contract and design brochure. It caused the wrong items are installed and can’t be changed. Lessons to learn here, please sure all the items on the contract are same as what you want. If you find differences from the brochure, just ask. Some construction issues weren’t solved until moved in. Complained many times about the remaining roof issue. But the bad quality roof still can be observed until today. Sounds like once the house is closed, you paid, this is it. Their job is done. They don’t care about you anymore. Having a house for the first time is so exciting. Pulte homes make it easier.

Everyone we worked with from start to finish was professional and responsive. This was the first time we have built a new home and we appreciated that all of our questions were answered in a timely manner. Diane and Dustin were a pleasure to work with. We have been in our home nearly two months and have had no issues. We couldn’t be happier with our Pulte home..

So far I am over all a happy customer and living in a home they built for me. I haven’t had any major concerns during build process and over all process was very Smooth

Everyone at Pulte made this process as stress free as possible. In this very competitive market, my home purchase at Talavera Pulte definitely is the right one for me. They were bumps as expected but we ended up closing within the time frame communicated. For those looking, try to buy from Pulte.

This was a good experience. It was a bit overwhelming to me but I have to say Mary and Lori were so knowledgeable and helpful. They answered every question with that knowledge base… and, they were always so nice and pleasant. And, orientation with Mike was amazing… great information presented so well. From the 1st visit to move in day wonderful professionals to deal with. The condo is so lovely…. the finishes, the plumbing…. every detail so well thought out and executed.

Supervisors communication and the workmanship

We had a great experience building with Pulte. Everyone we worked with was patient to answer our questions as first time home buyers and first time building a home. We appreciated the communication and making this process easy and transparent in what to expect. I would absolutely recommend Pulte to friends and family and anyone interested in building with an excellent team!
